Vance woke up a couple of minutes after mia left and looked around at his surroundings as usual. "Where am I?" He asked himself as he sat up a little bit. "The medical tent. Please stay still." Miles said to him.

Shifting back into her wolf form, Mia took off into the forest south of where the clearing was. She pushed herself as hard as she could in her current predicament, pausing every so often to take a quick break from the running.

Vance lied back down and stared at the roof of the tent. "I wonder what mia is doing?"

Mia continued to race through the woods, occasionally smashing her side into a tree she thought wasn't there, until she got to a small cabin in the woods. Shifting back to her human form, Mia knocked lightly on the door, the door swinging inward slightly at her touch. Looking around cautiously, she stepped inside the cabin, the door closing with a thud behind her.

After waiting a little longer, Vance began to get a little impatient. "I think I'll go look for her." He said, moving to get up only to be stopped by miles. "You can't get up yet. Let your body rest for a little longer." The exceed ordered.

Mia attempted to kick the door open only to find it was barred from the outside. "Just great." She muttered, turning back to the small cabin she was in. Shadows danced across the room, distracting Mia from the reason she came here.

"Miles, I'll be fine. If your concerned then come with me." He said as he stood up and walked over to the door of the tent. When he walked out, he sniffed the air for mias scent and began to slowly follow it.

A single shadow formed into a man and stepped forward into the light, a dagger in his hand. Making a tsk'ing sound, the man came closer to Mia, forcing her against the wall by the door. "Shouldn't have come alone." He smiled, stabbing her in the side with the dagger. A strangled scream escaped her mouth before the man grabbed her, disappearing into thin air. All that was left where the man stabbed Mia was a small puddle of blood from the possibly fatal wound.

Vance reached the small cabin and kicked down the door. "Mia! Where are you?" He called very weakly.

The shadows around the room danced for Vance as well, but the door did not close behind him. The light cast from the door shone brightly on the blood darkening the polished wood floor, staining it.

Mia's scream caught in her throat the moment they teleported, the shock from teleporting making her faint. When she finally woke up, she found that she was chained again and the floor beneath her was rocking. I must be going crazy. She thought, lurching forward with each sway of the floor. The smell of salt was intoxicating, as well as the smell of silver and iron.

Vance kneeled down in front of the blood and put his index finger in it. Taking it back out, he brought his finger up to his nose and inhaled through his nose. "This is mia's blood." He said to miles, who stuck close to his leg. Vance stood back up, feeling his energy surge back up almost immediately and he roared loudly inside the cabin. "WHO DARES KIDNAP THE ONE I LOVE?!! YOUR BONES WILL RETURN ME TO MY RIGHTFUL STRENGTH!!"

Mia turned her head slightly to the left and saw a small porthole, immediately making her feel sick. Not a freaking boat. Anything but a boat. She pleaded, her face growing green. Hanging her head, she relaxed as much as she possibly could, her arms and legs both chained. Her arms were chained to the ceiling, more than shoulder width apart, and her legs were chained to the floor apart too.

Vance angrily sniffed about the room, trying to get a scent on the captor.

Struggling did her little good, it just re-opened the unhealed wounds from before, the blood running down her chained wrists. "I'm going to kill these assholes first chance I get." She swore to herself, listening for the slightest sound of footsteps.

Vance couldn't find the scent of her captor, but could find the scent of mias blood rather far away. "I'm coming, mia." Vance began to head out of the door.

After a couple minutes she could hear footsteps coming down the metal stairs to the lower deck, a leiserly pace in them. The footsteps stopped right in front of her "room.", two pairs of them standing right outside. "......just inject her so we can bring her topside." Was all she heard before the door opened to reveal the same scientist from before, this time he had a new assistant with a needle in his hands.

Vance left tge cabin with miles and jumped into the air, causing his wings to appear. Once they did he propelled himself forward and flew in the direction of the scent, miles following him.

The scientist smiled and motioned for his assistant to inject Mia, he himself standing by the door. Mia screamed when the man injected her, biting his hand as he tried to withdraw his hand from her neck. Clutching his hand, he backed away quickly and watched Mia thrash pointlessly until all her energy was drained. "Now Mia, you will behave or I will throw you into the lowest room, filled with silver." He laughed, unchaining Mia's hands first so she fell forward. The dull metallic thud echoed throughout the room as the scientist finished unchaining Mia. "Bring her topside." He motioned to the man, who was still clutching his hand. "We will have a visitor soon."

Vance saw the boat and stopped midflight. "A boat. It had to be a boat. Why couldn't it have been an island or something?" He asked. Vance sighed and scratched his head. "I'll do it for her." He said flying closer to it.

The man had dragged Mia to the deck of the boat, cuffing her wrists to the side of the captain's cabin and her feet to the floor. Her head rested on her chest as the blood finally stopped flowing from the unhealed gashed on her wrists. Moaning, she attempted to raise her head but found even that task was difficult.
