"You said something about a pack. What did you mean by that?" Vance asked his question before he forgot it.

"Oops?" Mia ran a hand through her hair and looked Vance in the eyes. "I'm sort-ave a werewolf?" She said it like a question, biting her lip as she did. She hadn't meant to say she was in a pack, but it slipped out. Man I hope Daniel doesn't find out about this.....

"Really? That's so cool! Can you transform at will?" Vance asked, clearly impressed. Miles looked at her confused. "What's a werewolf?" He asked.

Mia nodded at Vance and then turned to Miles, surprised that he didn't know what it was. "A werewolf, also known as a lycanthrope, is a human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or a therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature. The two ways to become a werewolf are either getting bit my one, or being born that way like me." She explained patiently, making sure he understood.

"Oh, I get it." Miles said happily. "So where is your pack?" Vance asked curiously.

"I was just headed....." Mia started, a look of shock on her face. "Oh crap, I am in soooo much trouble." She moaned, putting her head in her hands. "I was supposed to be meeting the pack leader to talk about the rogue that is roaming around." Mia added, leaning down to retie her shoe laces.

"Can we come with you, mia?" Miles asked. "Miles, this might he business she'd rather leave us out of. Not to mention she barely knows us." Vance said to his exceed.

"Yeah, you better come along or I'll never get my new board." Mia laughed, taking off down the sidewalk at a very fast run. She had to control how fast she ran, the humans running much slower then her max speed. She glanced over her shoulder after a while to see if they were following, her hair trailing behind her and a smile on her face.

Both Vance and miles were flying behind her, making sure they kept up. They wanted to make sure she got her new board and at the same time they could meet her pack.

Mia sped up a bit when she reached the field before her woods, the shift happening already. Growing ears and a tail, she launched herself into the air, transforming into a full wolf before hitting the ground. Her coat was a beautiful red and black color, her eyes a bright hazel-gold. Mia sped towards the woods in her wolf form, letting the wolf take over her instincts for the time being.

Even after she transformed, vance and miles continued to follow her. They did know that eventually they'd have to stop flying because of the trees but they were fine for now.

Mia entered the treeline, darting back and forth between the trees at an alarming speed if she hadn't been a wolf. After a couple of minutes of this, a clearing could be seen a little ways off. Slowing down, Mia shifted back to her human form and waited for Vance and Miles to catch up, knowing she went a bit fast for them.

Miles and Vance had stopped flying and had indeed gotten lost a little bit, but Vance had an amazing sense of smell so he easily found her again. "Is this clearing where your pack is?" He asked.

(Sorry, I fell asleep.)

(It's ok, I might sleep later. Or not. It all depends on my mood.)
Mia nodded, not surprised much by the fact that they had kept up despite her speed. She ran a hand through her hair, fixing some of the tangles that running had caused. "Lets go meet my family." She said sarcastically, talking towards the clearing. A little girl saw Mia and came running over, her head shiny from cancer before she was bitten."Amelia!!" She shouted, using the name Mia had dropped long ago.

"Hey Jacquelynn, Daniel still here?" She asked, a grimace on her face. The little girl, Jacquelyn, nodded and pointed towards a rather large rock with a shaded area underneath. A man sat under the rock, his back to Mia and everybody else. His shoulders were tensed with anger, clearly waiting for Mia still. Turning towards Vance, she looked him in the eye. "Stay here."

Looking at the man the little girl pointed to and guessing he was angry, Vance understood. Miles stayed still as well, bit wanting to go without Vance. "We'll wait here." Vance promised.

Mia nodded and headed over to Daniel, noticing how his ears twitched ever so slightly as she walked up behind him. In one smooth motion Daniel had transformed into a wolf and launched himself at Mia, who had barely enough time to shift before he was upon her. They scrapped for almost ten minutes before Daniel backed down, laying his front paws on the ground and his butt in the air in surrender. Shifting back to her human form, she had bruises and cuts all over that were already healing. She smiled and watched Daniel shift back to his human form, taking his hand to help him up.

Vance almost stepped in with a fist of undead armor, but had a feeling he shouldn't. For all he knew this was something they did often, so he just sat down on the ground with miles and waited.

Mia walked back over to Vance after the fight, a small grin on her face and her wounds already healing. "Thanks for not interfering." She said, holding her hand out to help him up.

Vance took her hand and stood up. "Your welcome. I didn't want to possibly do something that would get you in trouble." Miles stood up as well. "So what happens now?" Vance asked.

Mia smiled and poked Vance hard in the chest. "Now we go to the mall to get me a new board." She said, taking out a pair of keys from her front pocket. "My jeep is to the east of the clearing, hidden in some brush beside the road that leads through the woods." Mia added, taking off towards her jeep.
