She was now relaxed on his form, though it was something she shouldn't be by the way he acts towards it. But that just made her want to do so more often and mess with him. But she was being a good girl by this time and was continuing relaxation. She smiled a bit abashed to his question and smiled clumsily to his words. She stood up and cleared her throat as she brushed off her cloak, making sure none of her clothing was torn or no blemishes were left on there, which there never seemed to be any on her belongings anyways.
"I have a hard time trusting others, I've learned from a long time a go that trust is a hard thing to get and even harder to keep. I've had some bad experiences with people and how they are in the light of truth, so sometimes I just get a sense that the act of killing is close by. You doing that brought to my attention that the case was close to my assumption." She smiled a bit less clumsily and looked to him. She smiled a bit less as she remembered the heat that bursted from his body.
"I also had a bad experience with another man a while back, he used fire magic just the same. He was a kind man and we had a wonderful time together. But his fire was getting too much for me." She huffed gently and leaned into the wall nearby them. "He was very passionate and loving, quite a man indeed." She laughed a bit and waved a hand over her face as if to cool off. She blushed ever so softly to her comment, "sorry, I don't mean to get too personal." She laughed gently and looked over the marks on the walls.
"After a while, things got too much for me and I had to let him go. His face was in pure rage and he tried to kill me when I told him the news of our departure. I feared the fact that his man that I loved for so long never really loved me and caused great displeasure to hear that I was nothing more to him than a toy." She sighed a bit and shook her head softly. She looked over to him and smiled gently. "So don't go and take my accusations and assumptions to offense." She chimed as a way of being friendly, her smile grew again and she chuckled.

If it wasn't for the cold seeping through his clothes he wouldn't have minded her leaning up against him, but it was nearly freezing his skin and he visibly shuddered. Thankfully, it only lasted a moment before she stood herself up, a tinge of embarrassment written on her face that he grinned towards. It must've been his victory, but even so, he wouldn't make it anything special. Though he did wonder what caused her such a fright. Perhaps it was the fire; it must've been the fire that did it for her. Either way he wouldn't question and it didn't seem like he needed to either when she began explaining it herself.
As the first of her sentence left her lips he could only nod in agreement judging by how little she trusted him. Of course she wasn't to blame. She had entire story to back her up therefore he listened with patience, her once ice wall collapsing behind them due to the large hole he had put in it. As she did he allowed himself to lean against the wall, ignoring the scars they held through a past quarrel that he was yet to hear about.
It was understandable that she was mistrustful. It was most effective when it happened to be someone you loved who betrayed you. Though it couldn't be picked out, the wizard also had unseen trust issues. He didn't trust anyone with his secrets and only shared stories of his travels. It may seem as though he gave way to a lot when really he revealed nothing. What he could also compare to was the betrayal of his lover though his never attempted to kill him. She simply disappeared three weeks into their engagement which left Nelís unable to allow anyone too close, he'd always keep everyone in a general range. When he was a child he had been used, making him more prone to being desolated to assure that that would never happen to him again, but this didn't make him and Juni the same.
"I'm sorry about that," he regarded the man she spoke of, "but at least now you know to be more careful of who you choose to hand your heart over to." Sighing softly, he straightened and his staffs merged and returned to him once again. "I never did," he chirped, "It would be difficult for met o take offense to anything even if it were meant to offend."

The smiled again to his comment of not being offended as much, she felt more at ease with the idea left there on the battle hall floor. This man that stood there with the long obsidian hair and citrine eyes was much more than what she should have expected and, quite honestly, she was not actually sure what to think of this man. He was certainly an interesting specimen, quite handsome and very well mannered, something no one in the underworld could be. But she was not supposed to be interested in him, more his abilities, though it would not stop her from actually trying to pry some interest from him.
She looked around the battle hall and gently traced one of the marks on the wall, ice forming around it and attempting to fill the cracks, only for it to melt almost immediately after contact. The water trickled down the wall and made contact with Juni's heel, the water absorbing back into her and making her seem slightly more vibrant. She sighed a bit and pushed of the wall, the water now visible and dripping slowly down off the cracks. She turned to him and smiled a bit more as her icy eyes seemed warm and pleasing.
"so why don't we get something to eat and chat for a while? I'm sure you wouldn't mind getting a bite and discussing some topics." She walked over to the door way and smiled to him, her lips solid on a seductive curve, "I promise I won't poke the wrong buttons." She giggled a bit and walked out, the sound of clicking and sharp tapping from her heels echoes out of the room and into the halls.

He watched as her fingers delicately traced the wall, water following afterwards trickling down the wall to her feet. Somehow it made her appearance more appealing, not that it wasn't before, but it made her look much livelier, alive, and warm despite her cold genes. Perhaps he'd been a bit hard to judge her right off, believing she had no sense of real privacy and a tendency to rile someone up. Maybe he wasn't wrong on the second part, but at least he knew she meant well. All good things. Or so he hoped all good things. It wasn't as though he couldn't change her subliminal goals. The illusionist had a gift for manipulating after all.
"If you can find them," the wizard added as he followed in step, leaving behind the weight of the previous battle to revert to something much more appeasing. "I do promise not to poke at yours though. I have the gift to doing quite the opposite," he leaned forward with a zestful grin as to get in her line of sight till he returned to standing up straight and walking with a quick stride. "So, mind indulging me on what type of food you eat here?" his eyes returned to marveling the exquisite building with many shades of blue despite that it was all ice.
