"Consider it a treat." A moody Wanderer said as he led the others to the festival. Each four wore a mask to blend in with the other attendees. Wanderer wore the mask of the Hannya. Faruzan wore a teal leather mask that only covered the upper part of her face. Bennett wore the mask of a Hilichurl with holes carved for his eyes. Layla wore a light blue mask decorated with symbols of stars and crescents. The gang decided to split up their mora into four pouches. "Best day ever!" Bennett pumped his fist up in the air and ran off to a nearby booth after receiving his pouch.
Wanderer shook his head and wandered over to a booth selling tea leaves. Layla went over to try some moon cakes. Faruzan stood there and admired the lanterns. She remembered seeing similar ones in Liyue for their Lantern Rite festival.

Once the woman placed her treats in the cloth, he magically wrapped it up, before making it disappear into thin air. “Thank you~” he beamed.
As a man of his word, he tossed the satchel back towards her—money and all. After all, the paper currency of her world was worthless to him, so there was no point holding onto it out of anything more than spite.
“E-Ming,” the man called out, and the blade immediately reacted, pulling away from the girl and returning to Hua Cheng’s side. “See? Was that so difficult?”

*izelia caught it with a frown* a little considering it’s all the food I packed for my trip. Now I have to go restock. But honestly you can’t blame a lady for trying *she offers a half smirk* I never gave you my name did I? Izelia at your service hua. *izelia looks around and sighs* any idea when the festival ends? I need to plan my restock trip now before I don’t have a way to get food and move on.
A large caravan out of nowhere drives into the place and crashes into a wall as two kobolds stumble out of the wreckage. One with a Plague Doctors mask and the other wearing a black cloak. The masked one looks at the cloaked one pissed off "Dammit Trekka. This is why I dont let you drive!"
The one with a cloak looks annoyed. as he tries to salvage their stuff "Well EXCUSE me if I wanted us to take a detour! Your too salty Skrag."
Skrag is in disbelief. "You crashed into a wall at some sort of festival and destroyed probably most of our supplies! Salty is an understatement!"
*izelia watched as the two strangers clamored around the destruction they caused, a crowd beginning to form around them. Lots of angry vendors and customers glared and scolded them. She began debating if she should take advantage of the chaos to replenish but thought better of it when she saw the amount of damage the cart had done* sooo… Im assuming the festival is ending soon with all the broken stuff huh? Is there anyway to find out if there’s more festivals being planned?
The kobold that goes by Skrag lifts the one that goes by Trekka onto his back and throws a potion that makes them invisible to walk away from the crowd leaving a lot of damage behind.
“What sort of trip would take you here, I wonder,” he mused with a smirk. “Though I’m not overly cruel. Take this, and purchase a couple baozi—they make for better rations.”
Reaching into his pocket, he took out a couple pieces of silver, and tossed it at her. Whether she was able to catch it was up to her luck.
“Izelia? A curious name. Ah, but as for the festival—perhaps a day, perhaps a week. Time is fluid here,” he explained.
The wreck caught the man’s attention, however all he did was look in the direction. It was an accident, albeit a somewhat disastrous one. If there was no fighting, there was no need to get involved. The vendors could handle themselves.
Though he sighed and shook his head, “How inauspicious. Ah well—I suppose not everyone makes it here in one piece.”
Squinting, he was able to see a faint outline of the pair who fled from the wreckage, which was honestly quite smart of them. Sticking around to take responsibility in Ghost City often led to unfavorable outcomes.

*the silver thunks izelia as she’s not paying attention due to her watching the flames erupting in the mass of chaos* ouch! *she rubs her head with a frown and furrows her brows at Hua* that hurt, but un… should we investigate orrr…. *she stands in her tip toes to get a better view* we definitely should check it out! *she goes to grab his hand in her excitement*
