Holly walked home through the frosty dark night. She hated the cold, but was out for important reasons. It was silent with no noise breaking the silence .Her blue eyes which followed nearby cars didn't seem tired, this wasn't the first time she was out late. Her long black hair blended in with the darkness around her. She was about halfway back to her home.

It had been a long night for this teenage boy who had been hanging out with friends half the night. Sadly, all good things come to end, so he was making his away towards home. With a cigarette at hand, he lit the cigarrate, and started smoking it, a bad habit of his. He looked up at the sky, what a cold night it was, yet he didn't mind it- to much. The night was filled with eerie silence, such a bothersome thing to him. He wasent used to silence.

Holly noticed the boy a distance from her. It was normal for her to not acknowledge people, they usually didn't have anything to say. So she kept on walking. Holly did find it strange that anyone else was out at night, usually it was only her.

Nathan looked up at the sky, breathing out the smoke from the cigarette once he parted it from his lips for a moment.

He looked down at the sidewalk, bored, and cold. He noticed the girl, what's she doing out this late? he wondered. Not to many people were outside at this time.

As she walked on she got a clearer view of the boy. Holly glanced quickly at the boy before looking away. She heard a noise in the distance, the first noise of the night.

He took a moments glance at the girl, but quickly looked away seeing her glance in his direction. Acting ad if he didn't notice her. That thought was dismissed from his mind, hearing the noise, though at fish he wasent sure what it was..

Holly saw a car appear out of nowhere speeding at high speeds. It sped past her into a nearby post where it crashed. The car was wrecked badly and all the windows were smashed.

Nathan noticed the car speed past them, unsafe speeds. He watched in shock as the cat wrecked I to a post, all the windows shattering. Had the driver survived? He wanted to think no..but thy could have.

After a while she slowly approached the car. The driver was still alive but it looked like he was shot many times. The girl's eyes widened when she recognized the man in the car. She opened the car door.

Nathan watched the girl as she approached the car. Maybe she knew them? He more then likely did not.

He remained a bystander, but only for mere moments. After a moment, he wanted to see, so he walked over, like any person would after witnessing a wreck. He didn't have a cellphone on him, but slowly lights in people houses began to flicker on, they must've heard the wreck. He tossed what remained of his cigarette on the ground, and approached the car, to see if the man/women was still alive..

"Hey, do you have a car, or phone or something?" The girl asked desperately the boy while trying to take the unconscious driver out of the car. Her life seemed to depend on this man's survival.

Nathans eyes went to the girl, and quickly shook his head. Not with him. Of all times. When you need something you forget it.

The boy reached out two fingers, and touched the mans arm. One might guess checking for a pulse in this kind of situation, but he was doing so much more than that. He saw a quick vision of the man riding in an ambulance, but quit with the vision there, not wanting the girl to get curious, "i- I'll go find somebody with a phone" he said and ran off. In today's world, who doesn't have a phone? If only he had waited to see if that guy lives or dies..

When she saw him run off she reached under the driver's seat and pulled out a gun. She found a sewer opening and tossed it in it and heard the splash. Whether the man lived or died, it was better that he was found without that gun. She would've taken a phone with her but one of her instructions when working was to never take her phone with her. The person who gave her the instructions was the man sitting in thr seat, he was her boss. If he died, gone was her way of survival.

Nathan ran through the cold night, searching, seeking somebody who had there lights on, and possibly had a phone. He ran up one persons front steps, and went to their door, and knocked. Impatientally awaiting an answer. Slowly a man, maybe in his late 20's or early 30's answered the door. "What do you want?" The man asked. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but do you have a phone?" Nathan asked the man, "yeah, I have a phone.." the man responded, "may I use it?" Nathan asked nicely, "fine, " the man said, and left, and returned with a cellphone, and handed it to Nathan.

Within only minutes he had made a call, and gave the man his phone, and went back to the scene of the wreck. "Help is on the way" he said to the girl once he stopped to breathe.

She got up and looked up at him "Thank you" she said. "You have no idea how much this has saved me". The girl glanced at the driver. Ir appeared the bullet holes in him weren't that fatal but there were a lot in him. She waited for the ambulance.

Nathan took a moment to catch his breath, but even once he had a steady pace of breathing, his heart still beat quickly with adrenaline, and fear for this man before him. Slowly his eyes went from bullet-hole to bullet-hole on the man, almost like a pencil tracing and connecting dots at the activity of connect-the-dots. Minutes that felt like hours, maybe even decades, pasted by, and soon the sounds of sirens were carried with the wind. The ambulance was here.

The driver of the ambulance stopped the ambulance, and some men got out, and walked over to the three, beginning to do their job.

She stood back from them and allowed them to do their job. Even though the driver was getting helped, she hoped that he would be alright. She didn't say anything as she watched them. The girl considered sneaking away, police might show up and question her. She wanted the least amount of attention on her.

Nathan watched as the men did their job, being sure not to get in the way. He may not know this man, but he hoped he'd be okay. At least he wasent shot anywhere fatal. The men got the man on a (sorry if I use the wrong word, but I want to think its called this) gurney, and got him in the ambulance. Before the girl would even get a chance to escape, one man asked "do you two want to come?"

The girl looked slowly up at the man. She changed her mind, she wanted to make sure that the man who was in the car was alright. Slowly she nodded. "I'll come" she said stepping forward.
