Europe, deep into the Renaissance, an inexplicable rise of unnatural beasts and creatures bloomed. Civilians were mauled by wolves that walked on two feet and had the body of a man. Innocents drained of their blood by pale figures that only lurked at night. Children were stolen and lured away by the hideous yet unseen spirits.
In a desperate effort to bring order back to the world, hunters are hired across the continent. They are expected to keep the population of monsters low, if not drive them to extinction. Though it is human nature to befriend what one sees faith in. Even if said faith is misplaced. It is human nature to love what can’t, or shouldn’t, love you back.
To put it simply, a classic monster hunter/hunched monster set in the Renaissance era.
I’d prefer to play the monster in question, I wouldn’t mind playing the hunter if needed.
I kept it fairly vague, so if you have any ideas, you can give them to me, and we can discuss in depth what we would be most satisfied with. I promise I’m open minded, most often than not I won’t say no!
I prefer responses to be at least two paragraphs, but if you’re out of ideas and can only do one, I won’t be upset.
I always respond, but I don’t always respond fast.
Edit: Completely forgot to mention this, but this can be either romantic or platonic!

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Renaissance
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance is required from early on, but there will be some semblance of a plot beyond the relationship.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
