So I was talking with lyingsmile15. We came up with the idea of starting an OOC chat board where we can all chip in ideas about the plot and stuff like that. Hopefully the spoilers won't kill it for anyone. We'll still leave plenty of room for surprises.
So basically I was looking to form a group of mages and people interested in magic. It seems like we've got a group! I'm very excited about this.
So one idea for a plot and sort of a end point for this party is that a stranger will enter and promise a reward to any group who can help solve a problem. The problem deals with repairing something... Possibly a clock tower. Lots of room for puzzles and surprises.. Oh and something lurks within the clock tower, a dangerous familiar...
It sounds like a good team plot. What does everyone think?

Sounds like fun! I'm not sure what this is about though. Is this a topic about a roleplay, or a game, or a(n Anime) show?
@Sanne - This is an OOC for a group roleplay that recently started.
To the members of the Roleplay- Hi! I promise I'm not as grumpy as Miriela is! And Miriela has her reasons to not trust people. The trick is to slowly pry her out of her shell.
For the moment, I'm waiting to see if Kiari will reply.
Warning to Akane - Miriela doesn't like fire in the slightest. As soon as she knows you wield fire abilities, she'll likely be even colder than she already is.

Yeah, its an OOC chat for a thread I set up. I should post the link for whoever might be interested. So far we have a nice group of writers who have been plugging away at a fun story.

It seemed like a good idea to make an OOC forum because some people had anonymous characters and could not be PM'd..

Ooh okay! I was confused because this was posted in Smalltalk. The best place to discuss (ongoing) roleplays is RP Discussion, as the Smalltalk board talks about random things (and your topic might drown in irrelevant chatter). Plus people looking for a roleplay to participate in will be looking around RP Discussion as well, rather than Smalltalk.
You can get in touch with a moderator to have the topic moved so that it gets all the attention it deserves.

Anonymous characters can be PMed! You just have to enter their name the same way you would a player's, and then select it.
Thanks for the advice! If a mod could move the thread it would be appreciated.
Hello everyone! I moved your topic for you! Have fun with your IC and OoC business! Adieu!
Much appreciated.. sorry about the confusion.
So we'll be getting one more individual to interact with when we get to the clock tower. That's kind of why I pushed into that plot phase. I don't want to make him wait too long. But yeah, posting has been awesome!
awesomesauceeee.
Sorry guys on how long it takes Kiari to reply! Rping off of an android is not the fastest way, lol.
(especially when signal fails or when I have to rewrite the post because my phone likes to shut off randomly)
Grr..
Grr..
Yeah that has to be tricky... Glad to have you on board!
Thanks! I'm enjoying it so far
We've got some good writers!
So I don't want anyone to feel left out, but I've been working on art on my interpretation of our female characters. I think the male characters would be a little too complicated for me to do them perfect justice. But maybe I'll give them a go in the next few weeks. The women's profile just left enough room for me to be a little creative with it. They aren't meant to be perfect representations of them, just one way that they could look.
Kiari
Miriela
Kiari
Miriela
Miriela looks bad ass.
But anyway, I tossed out an idea to Pantrane today for their next quest (which obviously won't start for at least a week after this quest because they'll need time to rest, Kiari needs time to actually learn some magic and so forth.
But he told me to share my idea here for everyone to read:
A castle is covered in a thick mist and no one who enters ever comes back out. Within the castle, they walk deeper, but to pass from one chamber of the castle to the next… one member of the party must stay in that chamber while the rest continue on. A magic wall will seal the one who stays behind in the room and they will fall asleep in the room and pass into a dream state. The dream state will either a) force them to live out their worst nightmare or b) force them to relive a part of their memory… a childhood memory perhaps.
Eventually there is only one of them left and they must continue to the final chamber and find the root of the problem and resolve it. (Something sickening the heart of the castle or something, perhaps)
But the final test to end the curse/problem is that they have to step into the dreams of each of their companions and make their companions aware that it is only a dream so that they will wake up. The lifting of the curse requires at least one awake person per chamber, hence they need to wake each of their teammates up so that there will be one awake person per chamber.
And all the people who were trapped will slowly wake up on their own after the curse is removed.
