You were wrongfully imprisoned by the Holy Empire of Landor under suspicion of being a spy for the country that the empire is at war with, Magicka. Having left to starve in the dungeons of the capital city, the emperor suddenly summons your presence up to his court and offers you release on one condition: the emperor had recently discovered that the Magicians had been developing a new plan to win the war despite being cornered. The emperor wants you to find that plan out, and fast. This leads you down a rabbit hole of events that all center around two objects: a large ancient contraption capable of immense destruction... And a small grey rock.
