You know the one. The one with the big houses and the full-sized candy bars. The type of neighborhood that Byu would've swarmed as a kid, trying to fill his bag several times over. Except.. he lived in it. And it'd been a while since he'd gone out trick-or-treating himself, now he just manned the table outside, several bowls of candy set up in front of him. It didn't mean he wasn't dressed for the occasion of course.
From head to toe he looked like he'd gone for the firefighter route, fairly accurate but still obviously a costume, complete with hat. Might've just been that if not for the black ears attached to the hat, the little spot of black on his nose (his skin didn't take to makeup well so that'd have to do) and the giant Paw Patrol badge slapped onto his chest. An odd choice for a 21 year old? Not at all as a tiny six year old came dashing up, dressed as a cop with ears and tail clipped to his outfit, crashing into Byu at full speed. "I get to work the big kid table this year with you, Byuuie!"
Byungwoo gave a laugh as he adjusted his brother's hat, "Seokie, are you sure you don't wanna go out with the other kids? You're not gonna get as much candy.." Seok looked up at him and shook his head, "Nope! I'm a big kid just like you now." He gave a soft laugh at his brother, "Alright well, make sure you get the other goodies for the good folk we have coming, okay?" There was a loud, "Chase is on the case!!" as Seok darted back into the house and Byungwoo shook his head fondly as he settled into a chair in front of the table. Alrighty folks, open for trick or treating, come get your candy!

Donna, with a mischievous glint in her eye, might have questioned whether her age was truly appropriate for all the elaborate costume theatrics of Halloween. However, when it came to the sugary delights – the candies, the chocolates, the sweet treats – she never felt a day over eighteen.
In a playful attempt to appear younger, perhaps even to recapture a sliver of her youth, Donna donned her old school uniform. It was a bold move, especially considering she was well past her school days – a full 22 years old, in fact. But it was Halloween, and she was determined to embrace the spirit of the occasion.
She emerged from the shadows onto the familiar streets of her neighborhood, her eyes quickly spotting the brothers’ house. It was their annual Halloween extravaganza, a spectacle of decorations and spooky charm. They were already busily setting up, transforming their home into a haunted haven.
A playful smirk danced on Donna's lips as she approached. "Hi, trick or treat I guess?" she greeted Byungwoo, her voice laced with a youthful energy that belied her actual age.

It'd taken everything in him not to fall into the trap of scrolling endlessly through social media, fingers already itching to retrieve phone from his pocket - which would've taken so many steps because of his costume - but he was being strong. Byu was just someone who liked to have something to do at all times and even though they'd gotten a few kids darting up so far, they were quick snatch and scuttles, no real lingering interactions. He perked up as someone approached and he chuckled at her costume, "Ah, reliving the school days, huh? If I put on a uniform, usually teachers think I'm actually a student. Just a really tall one."
Laughter bubbled easily from him and he nodded as he took some candy bars and offered it out to her. A chirp by his side announced Seok's return with the additional goodies, one being held out for Donna to take. An unlit glowstick and a small box that it seemed to have come out of was handed over by the child, a little grin on his face. "Rechargeable glowstick! So you stay safe! And it's pretty!" He seemed to take in her costume and gave a little nod, "School." Seok totally understood.

Usually that I shouldn't be here feeling came with some worry or dread, but as far as Rantaro could tell, the place he'd ended up in was a pretty typical neighbourhood in a pretty typical city. Of course, he wasn't going to completely let his guard down; he wasn't stupid. But everything seemed trustworthy enough. Oh, and it was Halloween? Hm. Well, he needed a costume. He hadn't come prepared (a consequence of not knowing what the heck was going on around here), so he opted to take a quick look inside the nearest dollar store and pick out a simple, but reasonably cool looking mask of some generic, non-copyrighted green demon-monster-alien-who-knows-what-creature. At the very least, it didn't look like it would fall apart if he breathed on it.
He also picked up one of those pumpkin-shaped buckets for carrying treats.
As he walked through the streets, he caught sight of other trick-or-treaters. Groups of teenagers, or younger kids with parents or older siblings. It made Rantaro wish his sisters were here, but... no, nope, not thinking about that right now.
Soon enough, Rantaro came upon a house, and decided he might as well see if he could get some candy. As he approached, he caught sight of two adults and a child; one of the adults seemed to be in the middle of getting candy from the other two people, so Rantaro politely waited nearby, offering a casual little wave to anyone if they happened to look at him.

Byung was pretty good at multi-tasking, needed to be considering the world they lived in, and while Donna got to enjoy the first round of prizes, his gaze flit about to take in any other trick-or-treaters that might make their way up. A few more kids, candy and glowsticks handed out and Byu had to give a grin as he looked out into the crowd of the street to see little lights practically floating as people bobbed along with them. It might seem like something so small but safety was important! And he liked knowing he'd done something positive. Movement caught his eye and he found himself glancing over at Rantaro, giving a wave back. "Hey, hey, welcome in. You looking to do some trick-or-treating?"
A quick glance over his costume and he beamed, "Can't say I know what you're wearing but it's really cool. The classic movie monster kind of cool." He held up a bowl, "Candy?" It was at this point Seok had noticed the newcome and also held up a glowstick, "And! Compli.. coment.. comple... free light for you, Mister!~" Byu gave a laugh, "And a complimentary rechargeable glowstick too."

"Heh, thanks. Can't say I know what I'm wearing, either." He grinned, a little sheepishly, though it wasn't exactly visible behind the mask anyway. He accepted the glow stick with an appreciative nod towards the kid.
"I like your costumes, by the way. My little sister loves that show."
With one hand, he held the glow stick, and with the other, he sifted through the candy bowl, opting to pick a plain but likely still delicious bar of milk chocolate. He felt a little silly; he'd never gone trick-or-treating before, except with his little sisters, and back then he was just watching for cars and creeps; now, for the first time, he was actually getting candy. It felt odd, somehow. But hey, it was festive. And chocolate was delicious.
