“Darian Blackmore. Catherine repeated thoughtfully. ”That is quite the name.” Catherine complimented, as if approving of what she heard. “That is also fit for a court.” She told him, looking up at him with her beautiful smile.
When he asked her name, or if it was anonymous, she chuckled softly. “Anonymity is often the point of a mask, but..” Before Catherine could lift the mask, the two giant men had arrived, and Catherine moved into Darian’s side. That was followed by the dog, and then catching another customer to exchange the changes too. Good grief, it was a lot for a short period. However, Catherine was happy that she was seemingly doing her job by addressing the Morticia. At the compliment of her costume, Catherine grinned. “Thank you. You look great too.” When she indicated Meph, and then the Angel, Catherine smiled, and stepped out of the way. “Then I won’t hold you up further.”
After that, Catherine stepped back to Darian. She looked at him for several seconds before she lightly cleared her throat. If she was going to say it, she was going to say it properly. “My name…is Catherine Marie Christensen-Andersen.” The name rolled off her tongue like silk, like royalty, as she bowed lightly, and pulled off her mask to reveal her full, and beautiful face. “And it is my pleasure to meet you, Darian Blackmore.”

Undertow laughed good-naturedly at Sadie as she prepared a chair for him to fall into after his kiss. It had been a really good kiss, no doubt, but he wasn’t that much of a novice to be lightheaded for long. The angel was incredibly sexy, but he doubted anyone here was would someone who could keep her attention for long. Undertow would accept the honor of being one of the people she chose to kiss and leave it at that. With the chair set out for him, he realized he was enjoying the attention, so he took the chair. He was a bit surprised when Sadie used the chair to her advantage and straddled his lap. His hand instinctively went to her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He felt her fingers brushing through the small hairs at the nape of his neck, which sent a shiver straight down his spine. He leaned into her as she leaned into him, and he didn’t hold back this time. Their first kiss had been soft and tender. At the time he hadn’t realized the depths to which people were going to go with their kisses, and this was his chance to show her what he was capable of.
With his hands already on Sadie’s waist, he pulled her against him as his mouth opened against hers. He had witnessed her enjoyment of being dominant and challenged that with her as he sought to drive the kiss, making her submissive to his actions. Their tongues began wrestling and by the end of the kiss they were dancing with each other. As the kiss reached its apex, Undertow felt little shocks on the back of his neck. These shocked rocketed down his spine and into the core of his being, making the blood rush and his manhood stiffen. It was then he started the natural end to the kiss as he was mildly embarrassed he had risen to the occasion a little too literally.
When Sadie got off his lap, he nonchalantly crossed his legs to try and hide his excitement. He watched her cross the booth and head towards Rayna as Aurora broke his gaze with the cup in front of his face. “Oh…yeah. Thank you,” he said as he took the cup and took a long drink from it. He then explained about her friend finding a place to eat and inviting him to join. He grinned at her, “I am honestly not sure how long I am going to be stuck here for. But you should go meet your friend.” He patted the pockets of his costume and realized he didn’t have his phone on him. “I think my phone is in my car. But I can give you my number. Shoot me a text and I can get in touch later tonight?” If Aurora allowed, he would take her phone and put his number into it.

Meph’s muscles tensed a little with the unexpected touch of the woman before him. She had merely touched him to place the ticket in his hand, but she had startled him a little. His reaction was so quick that unless someone was paying close attention to him, it probably would have gone unnoticed. Even in his startled state he was ever the gentleman, “No reason to be embarrassed. It really doesn’t matter. Spartan, gladiator – maybe I should be happy someone didn’t call me superman.” Meph was referencing the long red cape that hung from his shoulders. It was his attempt at a joke. It was a pathetic attempt, but jokes weren’t really something he was good at.
When she signaled for him to lean down to her, he followed her request and leaned over. He felt her hands on his smooth cheeks and allowed her to guide him to her. Their lips met and his head tilted as well so the angle of their kiss would match up. His eyes closed as he felt her mouth open to him. Like with Trinity, he would follow Wynter’s lead. He wasn’t the type to initiate or further a kiss. He was trying to provide the kind of kiss each ticketholder wished to receive from him.
When the kiss ended his eyes opened and he straightened up slowly. “I hope that was worth your ticket,” he sad softly. His stormy eyes were as deep as the ocean and held just as many secrets.

Gandrell let mischief color his eyes as he leaned into Ella, now whispering conspiratorially to her, “Then, perhaps, I should say to hell with your brother’s opinion and just whisk you away to somewhere private we can talk.” To look at Gandrell and all his antics, you would think this was his way of trying to get Ella alone so he could do intimate things with her. However, anyone thinking would be completely wrong. He might look the part of the seducer, and indeed he was, but he had no intention of anything other than conversation with her on this night. If they got along and continued to enjoy each other’s company, who knew what tomorrow might hold.
When asked how long he had to stay Gandrell looked around. There was no clock to be found, and a watch didn’t really go with the costume. He cocked his head and looked at Ella, “Midnight.” He looked up at the night sky and then back down to her, “My best guess was that it was sometime around 10pm. So, maybe another two hours and then we can pack up.” He didn’t want her to wander off but he understood if there were other attractions she wanted to enjoy before the carnival closed. “If you want to go enjoy the carnival, I swear I will find you once we are done. You have my word.” He gently squeezed her hands with his as a small smile touched his lips.

Amelia had heavily, heavily contemplated her costume. More often than not, she went with something that would reflect her true nature, and allow her body to stretch. But this year, with the study of the Gods, Amelia’s head had been turned a much different way.
Now, this costume required thought and meticulous planning. She worked with the girls in the sewing department, being head of the drama department herself, to fit, and create a beautiful and perfect representation of the Valkyrie. Metals threaded and melted together to create a gorgeous golden and black armour that spread across her bodice, and wrapped around her as perfectly as a glove. On her head, where her hair was in proper braids, sat a helmet that didn’t obscure her face, but had small wings on either side, and the golds reflected in the honey colour of her eyes. Her arms and legs were wrapped in that same armour, and at her side rested a handcrafted sword, that looked so much older than anything one could find in a store.
She had been walking around the carnival for quite a while, loving the sense of being outside after rehearsal all week, when she walked around to the kissing booth. She grinned as she looked around, then for the hell of it, bought one of the tickets at the booth. She stepped inside its grounds, and looked at the volunteers. She grinned when she saw the Spartan, but waved first to Catherine, who was often part of her set design, and her friend. As it seemed the Spartan, someone else she knew from school, and had developed a massive, and unintentional crush on, was in the middle of his kiss, she would wait in anticipation.

Darian let out a soft chuckle at Catherine's opinion on his name. It was a lighthearted one thought, after all she kinda said that he had the name of a nobleman. That was something he'd never heard before. Her smile was so mesmerising that he couldn't but mirror it every time she flashed it. Soon after he'd shared his name though things had gotten quite chaotic. He stood protectively by Catherine until the danger passed and then he let her go do her job.
While Catherine spoke to Morticia, Darian waited patiently and looked around, noticing that Ella was holding hands with the Phantom. A soft sigh pushed past his lips and he shook his head. Did she have to go after the most flamboyant one? Tearing his eyes away from those two he looked over at the princess who soon returned to his side. He smiled politely, genuinely happy to see that even now that the danger passed she did seem interested in staying near him. He'd seen pretty intense kisses that night, yet his kiss to Catherine, while passionate had been nowhere as lustful. Even if he did feel desire for the woman, it was simply not his style to just come in roughly. Even if it was a kissing booth he'd wanted to be always respectful and careful in his actions.
When she cleared her throat Darian gave her his undivided attention, a soft smile spreading across his face when she revealed her name. She did have a long name, but it wasn't difficult to pronounce or anything. And it did sound like the name of someone with royal blood oddly enough, which perfectly matched her outfit for the night and her behaviour in general. "That is an impressive name, a lovely one too, Catherine." He repeated her first name, his deep blue eyes staring into hers as he did.
But he was even more surprised when she removed her mask. His lips parted in silence for a moment as he took in her beautiful features. Truly, she'd looked stunning with the mask on, but without it she was simply gorgeous. "The pleasure is all mine." He responded, finally smiling again. "You truly are gorgeous, Catherine. The mask surely gave mystery to the character, but I am in awe at the person behind it." He confessed.
Ella laughed lightly at Gandrell's decision to not care that much about Darian's opinion on him. That was probably for the best, because Darian was a rather difficult person to please. "You can whisk me away whenever and to wherever you wish." She almost whispered, bitting at her bottom lip. "Extra points if you do it as theatrically as the kiss I witnessed earlier." She giggled, giving his hands a gentle squeeze. It may seem like she was insinuating that she did want some intimacy with him for less chaste reasons and that wasn't entirely wrong. But truly more than just making out once and never meet again Ella truly hoped to get the chance to know more about this man she found so fascinating.
She would lightly nod when he explained that he'd need to stay until midnight at the kissing booth. She wasn't quite sure she wanted to leave, not if that risked that she might never see him again. So she was fully planning to stick around until he'd be free to leave, but when he assured he'd find her later she felt weak at the knees again. "Seriously, are you..." Gently she let go of one of his hands only to reach up and cradle the one cheek that the mask didn't cover, her thumb caressing over his cheekbone if he allowed it. "..are you for real? I'm afraid this is a dream and I'm just gonna wake up and you're not gonna be real.." She confessed, her eyebrows furrowing a moment showing she was expressing a real concern.
It was just very rare to click with someone like this, to have them express so much fondness for her when they'd just met. To feel so drawn to them. "I'll wait around, won't go too far." She smiled, gently moving her hand away. "With this hat and outfit I shouldn't be too hard to find." She would add with a soft laugh. "Until then though..." She looked around to see if he had any other customers already, but seeing no one was around yet she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, near the corner of his mouth. He would get plenty of kisses tonight, and they had already shared one, but this one was a promise and a way to show that she also wasn't just interested because of how hot he was. Even though it was undeniable he was smoking hot.
As if that was not enough she grabbed a marker from a near table and gently pulled his hand closer, writing her number on the back of it before giving him a smile. "Call me if you can't find me. Also give this to her if you can. My brother is so awestruck he's not gonna remember to give it to her." She'd add, writing Darian's number on a small piece of paper and handing it to Gandrell as well. "Thank you.. and see you later." She'd say excitedly before she'd take a step back and step away almost reluctantly.
On her way she went over to Darian and Catherine. "Hello there." She greeted, smiling at the princess and then at Darian. "Sorry to interrupt but it's probably about time we stop distracting you guys and let you do your job. You'll still get plenty of clients tonight attractive as you all are." She said, hooking her arm with Darian before she'd lean over to Catherine and whisper. "I'll bring him back at midnight when you're off, if you're interested. He may be a bit shy, but he can be a real sweetheart, I assure... you're gorgeous by the way." She'd smile and then pull Darian away with her. "Bye you guys!" She would say waving her hand goodbye at everyone and giving Gandrell one last smile before she'd leave with Darian.
"I'll uh... see you later then, Catherine." Darian managed to say, offering Catherine a smile before he'd sigh as Ella dragged him away from the kissing booth.

When the kiss ended Meph’s eyes opened slowly. At first his attention was still on his current customer. He had no intention of being rude and looking beyond her to see if there happened to be someone else waiting, which there was, but he was not yet aware of that. He kept his gaze angled downward at Wynter as he waited for her response. However, the shadows cast by the sporadic lights drew his attention down to the ground. His mind raced as he realized he was seeing the impossible. The shadow was all too familiar to him. He followed the length of the shadow to the feet of a young woman. Meph’s manners changed in an instant. One moment he was calm, the next it was clear he became nervous. He knew that armor. He knew the gleam of the metal and how it would wrap around a warrior’s body. He was too startled to look directly at her.
Gandrell, sensing his friend’s discomfort, left Ella for a moment and rushed to Meph. “What is it?” Gandrell, better than anybody, knew about Meph’s insecurities.
With a shaky hand, Meph pointed to the Valkyrie, his eyes cast downward, “Is it her?”
Gandrell looked past the Morticia character and at the lady who had Meph all in a tizzy. Instantly Gandrell understood. “No, my friend. It is not the one who…” He paused, thinking about how to word his response. “It is just a well-made costume, not unlike yours. Now, don’t be rude and go say hi.” Gandrell moved back over to Ella, but kept his eye on Meph.
Meph, his heart racing, looked at the Valkyrie in the face. It wasn’t the face he knew. But the Valkyrie could take the appearance of any beautiful woman. He was cautious when he beckoned her forward so he could receive her. In a low, shy voice he asked, “Do come seeking the soul of a doomed warrior?”

He was cautious when he beckoned her forward so he could receive her. In a low, shy voice he asked, “Do come seeking the soul of a doomed warrior?”
Gandrell could only smile at this incredible woman dressed as a priest who had been his first kiss of the night, but who had snared his interest so completely. He chuckled when she challenged him to kiss her as theatrically as he could later. A sincere look touched his normally playful eyes as he said, “Instead of theatrics, how about I give you a real kiss. No playing around. No stupid stunts. A kiss from my heart.” He sounded pathetically lame. People were probably gagging around him but, for some reason, this woman made him want to recite poetry to her. This is an odd sensation for him.
Her hand touching his cheek quieted his thoughts as she accused him of being a dream. It was flattering. He was anything but a dream. He looked and played the part of a happy go lucky youth, but behind the curtain there were so many extraordinary things to discover about him. “On my soul, I promise I am real.” He placed his hand on top of the one she had placed on his cheek. He wanted to hold it there, to keep it close to him. He feared losing her touch. But he knew he would go looking for her and prayed he would find her. He waited for her lips to touch the corner of his mouth. He felt her intention with the kiss and, as she pulled away, he turned his head and claimed her mouth for a moment. It was not the most intense kiss, but it was his acknowledgment of her promise and his vow to her.
With Ella’s phone number on the back of his hand and a piece of paper with Darian’s number, he watched as his newly found crush collected her brother and wandered away. His piercing blue eyes watched the brother and sister until they had been obstructed from view but the people and attractions. Gandrell ventured over to Catherine and handed her the piece of paper with Darian’s phone number on it. “My magnificent princess, it appears as though he both put our spells on the twins. Care to double date?” Gandrell laughed lightly, “On second thought, you might get further with him alone. I will probably only annoy him.”
Gandrell’s attention was on Meph then. Concern glinted in his eyes as he watched the exchange between the Spartan and the Valkyrie.

Sadie looked around the booth and noticed it had been slowing down. She saw a few participants leave after a while and soon thought it would be time to close up the booth. She had also heard Gandrell and Ella make plans for after, so heard about when this would possibly be over. What shall I do after this? Sadie had pondered to herself, as she stood there behind the booth. The guy she kissed on the forehead seemed to become a statue and hadn't moved, Meph shared a kiss with Morticia and about to with a stunning Valkyrie, and the others were just waiting to close up from what it seemed like to her.
She moved closer to Undertow and Rayna to join them, since she was waiting to see what needed to be done. "So, does anything need to be done after we close up the booth? Do you need any help with it?" She looked between the remaining original volunteers, as Sadie said this. She smiled brightly at them, "I run a bar not too far away from here. If any of you are up for it, I can offer you some pretty great drinks and possibly a meal if you are interested. You are welcome to bring friends, also."
She offered them all a place to hang out after the event was over, whether they took that offer was up to them. She looked at Undertow and said, "Well, if the mermaid isn't going to get your number, I will take it from you, Handsome!" She winked at him and playfully continued, " Or you can come with and show me what was rising after that last kiss and possibly find something you are missing, Fearless Pirate." She was smiling mischievously at him. Letting him decide what he wanted to do, as she also waited to see if she needed to do anything else.

Amelia wasn’t sure what she had done, but the Spartan seemed to be in fear of her. Her expression grew confused, even worried that she had done something wrong. She had been generally well received tonight, but his expression made her worry. Especially when he pointed at her, and she wound up looking down at herself.
She looked back up as the two friends seemed to speak, and the warrior looked back at her, and waved her over. Hoping to ease him, she slipped the helmet off her head, which allowed a full view of her face. Anyone who had ever seen one of the college plays would recognize her face, and those close would know she was very sweet.
When she approached him, she did so slowly. Although she hadn’t any idea why, her emotional radar was off the charts at the moment, so she was calm and cautious when she moved towards him. “Of course not, but…I was hoping to get a warriors kiss.”
As if she was nervous in her own right, she held the helmet in her hand as she looked into his beautiful eyes. She held the ticket out to him, but her smile was nearly shy as she said; “If the brave warrior might be okay with that.”
If he was okay with it, then once both were ready, her hand would raise to gently caress his cheek when he came to meet her, anticipation rippling through her body, her heart starting to race as their lips got closer. When they touched, Amelia’s blood rushed all through her, and had her pressing her mouth a little harder against his as all the passion in her heart moved through her kiss.
She looked back up as the two friends seemed to speak, and the warrior looked back at her, and waved her over. Hoping to ease him, she slipped the helmet off her head, which allowed a full view of her face. It is a barely known fact that Meph's soul had once been claimed by an actual Valkyrie once upon a time. Whenever his soul would go to rest in Valhalla, the Valkyrie and he would have a sort of...love affair, if you will. Though love in a heavenly form was much different then it was on terra firma. As she got closer to him he studied her face. She was completely unfamiliar to him. His eyes caressed over her lips and then focused on her brown eyes. Her eyes were ravishing. Large and the perfect color of the richest chocolate. He found himself drawn to her. As she drew close, so did he.
Meph nodded, almost in a daze to answer questions as to whether it was okay for her to get a kiss from him. The nervousness that had been running rampant through his body metamorphosized into a yearning. An unyielding need to close the distance and touch his skin to hers. When her hand touched his face he felt a ripple of energy coming from her. It was calming and alluring. He leaned in closer and closer until his lips met hers and his eyes closed. Behind his lids he watched a scene play out of them dancing in the falling snow.
One of his hands lifted to graze her cheek with the very tips of his fingers before the palm of his hand settled on her cheek. The scene behind his eyes changed and he saw them cooking together in a fancy kitchen. He opened his mouth against hers, giving her the option of deepening the kiss further.

When he nodded, Amelia grinned before she started the kiss. It was shy, nearly cautious at first, but quickly, it filled Amelia with the most incredible feeling. She couldn’t begin to describe how this felt, but what she knew was it felt….right.
It was crazy, but Amelia seemed to know the way Meph needed or even wanted to be kissed. The hand on his cheek gently slid up around his neck, and her other started gently moving over his arm, just a gentle and light touch that wasn’t meant to frighten. It was meant to entice. As the kiss began to deepen, Amelia started seeing visions of snow and Christmas trees swirling at first until it became a solid picture. As her tongue met his,she started to taste gingerbread, and the images changed into those of movies, cookies and flour. Where had flour come from?
The longer the kiss lasted between them, the more Amelia’s body tried to get closer, as if it was meant too, only to be stopped by the plywood. This didn’t stop the kiss, as Amelia only let the passion and semi confusing images fuel her kiss, trying to figure out how to kiss him without need of stopping. Both of her hands were on his body, but in ways that she somehow knew were safe, and she kept them there when the kiss eventually, be it minutes or hours later, would end. She kept them there in part to steady herself, and looked up at him. “That’s the kind of kiss I always imagined.” She whispered, unable to get her voice currently higher than that.
