In the game Bloodborne, there exists a monster known as the "Winter Lantern." This monster exists only in nightmare realms and it is speculated by the fans that it takes a corrupted form of the people that the viewer holds dearest to- the people that are their biggest comfort. In the game, our protagonist sees it with a bloodied body of The Doll and a head of dead Messengers, some of the only allies the protagonist has. This sight coupled with their distorted singing is enough to drive someone insane and then die just by seeing the lantern. So, to celebrate the spooky season, what would your oc's lantern be?

Joot's would probably be his Grandmother's or one of his best friend's bodies with a head of crystal. Of course, with the bonus tentacle bits every lantern has.

Ciel would most likely see his dead twin, the one he stole the name Ciel from.
A crystalized knife would be stabbed into the twin's chest, as that is how he was died.

I believe that the characters have to be alive? Although, we only see one kind of winter lantern in the game so I can't say for certain

Even more spoilers, in-fact so much so that it is manga-only currently:
Undertaker ends up 'reviving/reanimating' the twin, similarly to the Campania Arc zombies, but like, more stable and non-violent? So the twin thing could still work.
