The book hovered by Rae's side, "It is your life but I need to cross that thresh hold too." He was not happy about his anti-curses being taken from him but if he could 'earn a wish' the getting the pages back may be a possibility. "I'm noble," he smirked, mostly lying. "And one hundred percent deserving of a wish!" He may not be the bravest, but by no means was Bathe a bad soul, he was just consumed by his own selfishness sometimes which may prove unhelpful in obtaining a wish.

Rae raised her finger to Bathe as to say no, but let it fall. " We won't make it there unless we start to get going. We've been here to long anyone, I don't want any of Castiel's mutts coming back. " A dash of hatred sprung to her voice and she was ready to walk. This was the books last chance to go with her or stay with the fox. The sun shinned brightly, but soon it would turn into its crimson color and the curse would be in full action.

Tenoji's lips twitched into a small grin as he caught the coin. His fingers gripped it, as it seemed to disappear into his skin, fading from view entirely. He spoke under his breath to himself, "Refusing a wish when the option presents itself. That's interesting...when was the last time that happened?" In his mind, he chimed the answers. Magik, back in Shyde, thirteen years ago, before her reincarnation. Before that, that American Marine, back on that blasted island in the pacific theater...That was middle of World War 2, wasn't it? You'd kami-kazed his ship, and you both managed to end up castaways on the same island. He didn't last long with his wounds, but he refused to take the wish, even when it could have saved him.

He watched as the girl left, making her choice, as he turned softly and walked behind a tree. His body shifted, and as he emerged, he was back to being a non-descript red fox once more. He waited for a time, to see what the book would do.

"I need to follow her," he said to the fox man, "but if i had a wish i could just get my missing pages back..." He paused, that wasn't the 'heroic' thing to do though, not 'noble' or 'courageous'. He would need to follow to get the wish, but he wouldn't need to follow if he just had the damn thing. "You know, this whole thing is dumb," he said smiling at the guy, "I guess I'm coming too!" A bit afraid of her ability to rip him apart. maybe it would be smart if the man came too? "You coming oh great samurai warrior," he said making fun of the mystic being. This was always a good idea, piss off the people you need in life. But for Bathe bridge burning and letting people down was a specialty.

As they ventured through the forest on the quest for the twilight temple the moon was at it's highest. The white mountains of Mt Shimura were constantly coated in the white powder of snow. It was strange, the edge of the mountain was like an end where the snow stops falling.

The long path that led through the snowy mountains was the only place the snow didn't want to settle on. As Rae, Bathe and Tenoji got to the start of the path they were spotted by one of it's inhabitants. A hunter of the mountain, the deadliest predator.

The snow was falling from clouds above but the temperature was not at all cold. The mountain dweller sprinted down the path. It's eyes locked on the group, it's grey fir streamlined and it moved at incredible speed as it ran. It looked like a wolf but it left a light smoke trail as it approached at its incredible speed.

The wolf stopped just at the broken gate of the path.

It stared at the group, tilted it's head and sat there with it's tongue out.

(I thought we should skip because it seemed to me that everyone finds it a bit boring at where it is ^.^)

Rae walked carefully down the path, her hearing picking up the chirping of animals around her. The drifting smell of another being floated into her nose. At first she suspected it to be the fox-Er...Whatever thing. After the smell settled into her throat, she stopped walking. She'd be better in any fighting mode, specially tracking in her wolf form. She changed into her wolf form, letting a loud grown slip out of her mouth. Hoping that would alarm any unwanted visitors to stay away.

The kitsune let out a soft whuff through his nose as an interloper stood in his path, flaring the nostrils as his hackles slowly stood on end; hair by hair. Goose flesh ran under his coat. He sought to quiet his own mind against the shock of anticipation, find a center and peace. He lowered his nose to the earth, rooting with it in the loose dust to let his body pick up on the natural forces of the area, but keep his search for anything he could draw on to use innocuous-looking. He stared down the wolf in their way, but gave it a small respectful bow. But not too low, that would show submission, and Tenoji's position in other parts of the world forbade such a gesture.

"Are we there yet?" He floated just a few feet from the fox, who was a few more from Rae, "Close maybe?" He wondered what was the difference between the two temples, he knew Castiel could destroy all Werewolves if he took her to the Eclipse Temple, but what was the Twilight Temple's purpose? Of course he had heard of it, but he thought it just be be a beautiful ruin. A tourist attraction perhaps? "Are we there... Oh," Another wolf, "God Damnit..." Why did there have to be another flippin wolf, another of Castiel's henchman most likely! Here to hunt them down, and kill them, and rip out all his pages, and, and... yeah probably not good.

The wolf sat down on the path and continued to look at them. It spoke but it's mouth didn't move at all "So, it seems the day of reckoning has com, I have been expecting you... Rae" the wolf's voice sounded old and wise "but do not forget the book, the unusual being that floats around you. Bathe is the one with the spell that will cast this world into darkness"

Faint grey smoke seemed to fall to the floor from the wolf's grey fur. It approached the group and morphed into a man as it got closer, he looked in his 20s. Not from a city but more like a tribesman, his clothing was made up of skinned animal leather and fur, around his neck and loosely hung was a bone tooth necklaces made up of small fangs going up in size to the centre where a sabretooth's fang was hung "Tenoji, these lands are dangerous and I know myself that you are no stranger to danger so I am a little relieved you are helping them. This is no simple task however. The temple that sleeps at the end of this path will be the ultimate test for all of you, so I ask" he looked between them all "are you ready to place your lives on the line for humanity?"

"No... Screw humanity I just want my pages back," Bathe was feeling a bit insulted. Of course he could bring about great darkness. He spell book resulting from an unbreakable hex cast by a dragon god. So sure he was a bit of a darker soul after everything that had happened to him and yeah, he did have unspeakable dark magic but he wasn't gonna kill people and bring darkness on the world! He just wanted his pages back so he could destroy Castiel's curse and go... Home? Or where ever. "Who is this guy? Ex-boyfriend Rae??"

Rae flicked her tail in annoyance at the whole situation until she felt somewhat relaxed. From human to wolf she changed and sighed. " Of course, more people just have to happen to know me. Are you some part to this whole thing? " A shiver was sent down her spine as the cold brisk air began to move in. The temple was not far, but night was coming and soon they would be able to see the temple. It's body would glow with such an unusual color, you would almost be drawn to it. Rae let a growl slip from her mouth even though she was in her human form. " Oh shut up you book. " she hissed and ran her hand through her hair. " I'll do anything I have to do to save my people. I'm just another werewolf, it's not like I'm important. "

Tenoji looked to the wolf, and let his shoulder shrug idly. "Cousin Wolf, I not concerned of my own life. I have put it on the line for far lesser goals than humanity in the past. There is nothing to cast doubts upon my resolve, Maiden Moon assures there will always be a Fox of Fortune, and my will and testament arranges a successor for my city's King of Beasts. All is prepared in advance for my eventual departure from this life." Ten spoke with a tone of absolute nonchalance, highlighted by the fact he even felt a yawn appropriate for the conversation. He flicked his bushy red tail in a flit of impatience at the other two.

"Then it is time, let us go to the twilight temple" he turned and led them down the path. It was nearing day and the curse on bathe would start to to effect not only him but his previous conduit, Rae. "Be warned that the temple has an aura of it's dangerous overflowing magic. You will see, hear and even smell things that you have either long forgotten whether that's nightmares or painfull memories" even as the guardian of the temple, he sees things almost everyday that he wishes he'd forget.

As they approached the temple the ground shook, Angel knew exactly why. The temple knew Rae was close "Even I haven't built a tolerance to the magic, but I can snap out of it easier than than you 3 might be able to. Do you feel that Rae? The temple has awoken just for you" he looked out Into the pitch blackness of the night and saw the silhouette of the temple. Torches dotted on the temple were lit up in flames making it easier to see the sinister temple in the distance "now the real challenge begins"

The magic rushing threw him wasn't at all hard to bear. It was releasing actually, breaking him from his curse! He could feel the magic push threw him and give him strength, this place was like heaven. "This isn't at all like the Eclypse Temple," he said, "it drains magic and can destroy the race of werewolves..." It hit him, and in that moment Bathe figured it out! "No way, damnit guys... I know what Castiel's gonna do!" The magic, the curse to get them all to come here, Angelo's "caring act.

"We know the Eclypse Temple can destroy all werewolves!" He exclaimed, "but if Rae is sacrificed inside the Twilight Temple on the last night of the Blood Moon ever human on earth will become a werewolf!" Merchants, singers, bards, kings, warriors, and theives, every full moon the world would be painted red over and over again. No pure blood mortal could exist ever again. It wouldn't effect him because he was still bound to a more powerful and more focused curse, but still. Everyone would have the blood of a wolf!

"This is insane!" He finally said, floating at normal height now that the curse was gone, "like screw humanity, but don't turn them all into beast men!" His eyes met Rae's, "the curse is broken, the powerful magic flow freed us!! Turn around before he shows up!!! Please!!!!"

Angalo's body slowly blew away like smoke in the wind, was he was an illusion by the temple? He must be. The wind picked up and snow fell heavily into a thick blizzard coating the group, blinding them from each other. How would Bathe know where he is going?. The ground shook from the temple's impatience, it was hungry for a sacrifice.

"Going somewhere little book?!" Castiel used the blizzard to cover him, the smell of dried ink led hi to the book. He charged on all fours and knocked Rae over as he did so, leaping out at bathe and grabbing him in his right hand "I need you". The blizzard died down just making it only a little easier to see but at a distance all that could be seen was the silhouettes of the four. Castiel grabbed te book tight, he was pissed but he kind of expected this to happen.

The claw on his left index finger traced down Bathe's spine, cutting him little as he did so "what is your spine made up of, book!?" He looked up at the silhouettes of his enemies "you did as told, like mice in a maze, now the party begins, of course, the venue is close by. Tell you two what, I'll make you a deal girl, and I keep my deals" it was obvious he was talking to Rae "if you kill my brother, Tenoji, then I will release the book and let you walk away. As easy as that, if not then let's ask the book" he slammed his palm on Bathe's face "does slow, tearing of each page leading to an even slower painful death sound good to you, little book?"

The temple triggered Rae's senses, it was as if it drew her towards it. When Castiel knocked her to the ground, she was almost out of it. The ground against her skin flooded her body with energy, but at the same time her body couldn't really do anything. It was as if her body had known her whole life that this was it's purpose. Her body began to shake and she tried to calm herself down. Her senses screamed to go, to just fall in front of Castiel and let him take her life. " I- I- I can't move! " She struggled from her mouth, trying to muster any enjoy or strength.

Rae looked at Tenoji and she gritted her teeth. Then she looked at Bathe, Bathe was one of self love. She knew that he would take the offer, but Tenoji was closer to her as blood than Bathe. Honestly she didn't want everyone to be changed, but a prophecy is a prophecy. It usually almost becomes fulfilled. " I can't kill Tenoji... " She cried, almost desperately.

Bathe's spine or cover could not be cut, Castiel's nail broke. He was made of thick brown molded dragon skin, not dragon scales but what was underneath. It was sort of like an invincible armor to his fragile pages, "Rae you piece of..." He stopped, why did he continue to push everyone away. "Fine, pull my pages out, one by one, but i swear if you so much as crack me open for a sheer moment I'll burn your hands off your arms." This was no noble deed, it was just a passing moment of courage lead on by the fact that maybe, just maybe Ten would give him a wish now. "Foxy, forget humanity... Just don't let this female dog get what he wants."
