Hello all, I'm looking for a GM to Roleplay in private messages (if it's possible). I've got a background history for Kashia that will be revealed before start the plot, but I play on the usual Fantasy-Medieval Setting, keep that in mind. I don't mind getting a few PM's from evil/villain oriented characters as well
GM means Game Master
DM means Dungeon Master
Just to point it.

Hello! I was curious as to what edition of Dungeons and Dragons you wished to play, or whether you are looking for a Pathfinder adventure, or a general Game Master for any setting.
I'm expert in 3.0 and 3.5 editions (preferably the second one). I have no idea on how works Pathfinder. Also the rp does not need to be focused in any system so everything is welcome.
I have certainly played 3.5, but if you wish for any setting, I do lean heavily towards a Final Fantasy Tactics setting. Pathfinder is very much a polished 3.5, and I highly suggest looking into it.
I tend to enjoy realistic and harsh games, and FF does not sound really entertaning for me (even if I mastered some home made FF game before) except if you say is going to be worthy!. I plan to play Pathfinder sooner or later, but I will prefer to discover the game with my tabletop friends
I do try to make my hosted games realistic and certainly harsh. I do have my own made-up system, and there are many more options for customization within it, but as your character already has stats for a Dungeons and Dragons style adventure, I will certainly adopt that playing style.
And you should! It is highly enjoyable, and you will likely find it very easy to understand, as you have played 3.5th edition.

I don't mind getting in a new system , even making a character for your world. Just give me the directions. I tend to love a customized character sheet with many features as defects, virtues, weaknesses and such things
Very well. Though I must say that the system does offer a wider variety of classes, it also is a slower build up then Dungeons and Dragons. The hit rate is higher, for both the enemies and the player characters, and battles can last an entire page of posts, especially in the beginning.
But, if you still wish to participate in that system, there are a few simple choices to make. The beginning classes are squire, for the melee orientated, and chemist, for the magically inclined. You may pick either one.You would love Pathfinder, as it has many different traits to choose from and drawbacks as well. My own system is made for general roleplay purposes, so it is very easy to understand.

Squire then, magic tends to complicate everything
I don't feel the urge to smash everything on my way, and maybe I will last longer without fight, just to let you know!

Very well! You may have two jobs active at the same time, during your character's career. If you find a job that interests you, you may take it as a secondary job. And I will use job, but jobs are classes, so you know.
As you are a squire, your character will start with a set of clothing, a broad sword, and a leather hat. Your character will start with 30 hitpoints, inherently. The hat adds 8 hitpoints, and the clothing adds 5 hitpoints, so your character will start with 43 hitpoints. The broad sword has an attack power of 4 and adds 5 to your evasion rate, and as a squire, your evasion rate is inherently 5, for a total of a 10% chance to dodge attacks.

Sounds very classical on FF way!. Are you encouraging me to start a new character sheet then?
You will likely not need a new sheet, as there are only three stats to keep track of. Unless you wish to do so! And as a squire, you will start with 150 job points, to purchase skills, which are found here >> http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/fft/jobs.php
Upon the right side of the skills is the job point cost, and it offers a brief description of each.

Hmmm, let's see then. I will ask if I've got a doubt about it.
I am more than willing to answer an questions you may have.
Do I need to get the skills from this page or I can swap to other "classes" as Squire, Thief or such things?
Unfortunately, Squire and Chemist are the only options for beginning characters. You may use those starting points for either of those classes' skills, but Theif and other classes are not currently unlocked for your character.
Okay then, are defend and throw stone good ones?
Most skills are fairly decent, and those two are relatively good skills. Throw stone is the squire's long distance attack, dealing your weapon's attack power to a distant opponent. Defend is a move action, where you can roll a percentage dice instead of moving, to attempt to block half of an enemy's attack.
After defend I'm able to do other thing before the enemy attacks again?
You may attack and defend within the same round, if your character stands still. When it is your turn again, you may attack and defend, or attack and move, it will be your choice.
