Vlad looked up at the ceiling, "a lot of the people here fear me" he said. He shrugged, "I forgot" he admitted.

Luisa shrugged again. "Oh well. What do you want to talk about now?" She smiled slightly, glad to have someone to talk to.

"I got nothing" Vlad said with a sigh. Not many people talked to him..

Luisa tried come up with something, but she never really talked to people. "Um... I don't know either."

Vlad plopped onto his back on his bed, "I'm bored" he said thoughtfully.

Luisa watched him. "Sorry... Um... I don't really know how to fix that." She said softly, a little embarrassed about being alone with him.

He closed his eyes, "neither do I" he mused. Sadly nobody ever talked to him much, so he didn't know much conversation..

Luisa tried to think of something to talk about. "Um... do you like pets?"

"I like wolves and foxes" he said, "why?"

"Just wondering. I like wolves and foxes, too. And horses." She shrugged a little.

"I never did care much for horses," Vlad said. "I like dogs as a third favorite"

"Hmm. What about bats? I think bats are pretty cool." Luisa suggested.

"They're cool to I guess," he said. "Though its weird how people say they're born blind."

"They're not really totally blind... but they rely on sonar or something like that. Kinda cool." She shrugged.

"Yeah, I guess" Vlad agreed.

Luisa looked at him for a moment. "Something about you seems really different." She said softly.

He felt like his heart skipped a beat she said that, and he looked and her and tilted his head. "What do you mean?" He asked.

She furrowed her brow, trying to pinpoint it. "I don't know... you seem sort of like you're all grown up... even though we're still young. Like you're an adult in a kid's body."

"That's a first" Vlad said, his eyes locked on Luisa. True, he was the spirit of an adult, in a teenagers body, who had received all the previous owners memories, but was she truly putting it together.

Luisa stared back at him. She wasn't sure what to make of his response to it. He wasn't denying that he was like an adult in a teenagers body. But she couldn't be sure of anything else as she'd only just re-met him today.
