"That's a first" Vlad said, his eyes locked on Luisa. True, he was the spirit of an adult, in a teenagers body, who had received all the previous owners memories, but was she truly putting it together.

Luisa stared back at him. She wasn't sure what to make of his response to it. He wasn't denying that he was like an adult in a teenagers body. But she couldn't be sure of anything else as she'd only just re-met him today.

Vlad looked away, "I always thought I was childish" he lied, paying with the gold token again. "But I guess we have to consider the years.."

Luisa nodded slightly. "I suppose so. It has been a long time..." She smiled slightly, and relaxed.

He noticed she relaxed. Yes! That meant she bought that flawless lie. "Yeah" Vlad said, and allowed a smile slip onto his lips. He had to try harder to acf like the child he once was,

Luisa shrugged a little. "I'm kinda tired. So I think I'll go to bed now." She stood up. "It was nice to meet you again." She smiled briefly before turning and leaving the room.

"Sleep well" he told her, not that he cared rather she did or not inside. "Maybe later we can catch up more" Vlad said with a slight smile, and a tilt of his head.

"Yeah. See you later." She headed to her room and lay down, her mind turning. Something was different... but she didn't know what or why. Eventually, she dozed off.

Vlad sighed queitky once she wa gone, and closed his eyes. His first friend had returned, but he wasent sure if he could fake being her friend for-well- eternity, or at least a few thousand years.

Luisa's sleep was deep and dreamless. Somehow, having found her old friend made her able to sleep peacefully.

At some point Vlad fell asleep. His dreams were host of nightmares, but he found that natural. To him his nightmares were sweet dreams.

Morning came eventually and Luisa woke up. She groaned softly, and rolled over. The first thing she noticed was that her right hand was bleeding. "What..." She lifted her hand and stared at it for a moment. There was a large cut in her palm and it seemed rather fresh.

The girl sat up and saw that someone had used her blood to write on her bedroom door.

Stay Away From Him

For a long moment, she sat there, in confused shock. Then she stumbled to her feet and bandaged her hand before working on cleaning her door. She didn't imagine the adults of the orphanage would appreciate the mess.

Vlad had awoken a hour or two before Luisa had, but for the most part just stayed in his room. Rather odd, but he seemed to lock himself away in his room usally- however he usually didn't lock the door, just kept it closed. Vlad sat in his room starring at the ceiling with golden eyes. Bored.

As she was finishing, she carried the bloody cloth she'd used to clean out of the room and headed downstairs to wash it out. A few girls saw her and looked a little nervous and backed up from her. She ignored them, intent on her task.

The girls turned and walked back towards their rooms, talking in hushed tones. "Did you see her hand?"
"Do you think it was on purpose?"
"I don't know."
"Weird."

Vlad lay on his bed in peace. Every time he ever stepped into the halls he sent people running. None of them knew his true abilities though. None of them knew what the could do. None. NOBODY. He sighed, and rolled off the Ned onto the floor, and sat there. What to do...what to do...

Luisa finished her cleaning and then, deciding she was bored, she went to Vlad's room and knocked on the door. "Are you awake?" She didn't want to wake him if he was sleeping... but she didn't want to be bored if he was awake.

He looked at the door when he heard a knock. "I'm awake" he said bluntly, then looked out the window. "You Ven come in, just close the door afterwards"

She opened the door and stepped in, closing the door behind herself. She sat down against the door with a sigh. "What a morning..." She looked down at her hand, which was still bleeding a little through the bandages.

Vlad looked back at her and tilted his head, "h-" he started then noticed her hand, "what happened?" He asked trying to act concerned.

Luisa shrugged a little. "I don't really know... I woke up and someone had cut my hand open and used my blood to write on my door. Really, really strange." She sighed and tightened the bandage a little.
