Vladimir really didn't focus on his surroundings, he just kept running, trying to keep up with the map. He ran and ran and ran, and eventually saw the creek, yet didn't mind. He reached out on the edge of the creek, reaching for the map, and managed to grab, but the ground broke under him, and he fell into the creek.

Luisa ran after him, crying out when he fell into the creek. "Oh!" She came racing up to the creek and nearly fell herself, but slowed. "Are you okay?" The girl looked worriedly at her friend.

Vladimir crawled out of the creek, unsurprisingly wet. "I'm okay...but the map isn't.." he said saying the map on the group d infront of him from where he sat.

Luisa picked up the map and examined it. "Aw... what are we going to do? It's all wet now." She looked to Vlad to see if he had any ideas. He seemed to be the smarter of the two of them anyway.

Vlad looked down and shrugged slightly. He didn't know. He'd never played this game without the map..which was now wet.

She sat down in the grass. "Maybe it will dry out?" She said hopefully.

Vlad tilted his head, looking at the map that now just looked like a blob of green, black, and tan. "I don't think that would work"

Luisa sighed a little. "Too bad..." She studied it for a bit. "Do you wanna still treasure hunt? Or do something else?"

"Let's treasure hunt when we get another map..." he said. He didn't consider this thought, but without a map he'd probably end up digging up the whole city/town. "I wonder if we could buy candy with our treasure..." Vlad pondered.

"Okay." She said, getting up. "Candy? What's that?" The girl had never had candy before, she'd probably seen it, but never understood what it was. Her father kept her under an iron fist. Sweets were never allowed.

"I'll show thou" Vlad said, and ran back to where their treasure lay. He picked up the closed box, and ran off again, making sure she was following. He remembered the Candy Store being near the park. A few minutes away if you knew how to tell time.

Luisa got up and followed him. She followed him as fast as she could feeling excited. She was about to learn about something new. She liked learning.

Vlad ran out onto the sidewalk, looking around, before continuing to run again. After unknown time passed for the two children, they arrived at a colorful building. It had pictures of candy on the windows, and the building was blue. Vlad walked through the doors into the building, and smiled at Luisa, pointing to all the candy that lied in glass jars on shelves behind the counter, and in little wrappers. Under the glass counter, and probably more in the back.

Luisa slowed in front of the store, looking at the colorful candies. "Is that candy? What's it for?" She asked curiously, wondering what the pretty looking things were for.

Vlad walked over to the counter where a highschool boy stood. A familiar boy. One who sometimes gave Vlad and his brother a few pieces of free candy. "Where's your brother, Vladimir?" He asked, "home" Vlad said. He pointed to a bundle of Pixie Sticks, "can I have one?" He asked. "That will be 89¢" he said, Vlad dumped a handful of coins on the counter that he had to stand on his tippi toes to reach. The man counted up to 89¢ and gave Vlad the pixie sticks, and his change. Vlad walked over to Luisa with a blue pixie stick, "open your mouth" he said, opening the candy stick.

Luisa watched the exchange curiously, wondering what Vlad was getting. She looked at the Pixie stick in his hand, and then obediently opened her mouth.

He poured a little bit of the powder candy onto her tongue, and stepped back. "That's one of the billions of candies"

She closed her mouth on the power, savoring it for a moment before it dissolved. "Sweet!" She said, smiling. "I like it."

Vlad smiled and held four pixie sticks out to her. A blue one, a purple one, an orange one, and a red one.

Luisa looked at them with wide eyes. "That's a lot!" She said, uncertain about taking all of them. "How many can I have?"
