Hey, I was just wondering, of there is a group in the community that I'm interested in, how do I ask for access?

Hi Vee, I'm not sure which group are you intending but I think if it was a public group, usually you just have to hover to the "Join This Group" button wherever the owner put it. Sometimes it was in the front page or on their rules page. Might do double-checking.

If it was a secret group, I think you have to be invited by the member to go in.

What Jenna says is right. Usually there is a 'Join Group' link on the top menu bar of a group.

If the group administrator has set the requirement to 'Invite Only', then you will need someone in the group who is eligible to send you an invitation.

You could also DM the founder of the group you're interested in and ask them about how to go about joining the particular group.
