Hello,

I know a lot of people on the site do a lot of RP through the medium of chat/text. I do enjoy that a lot, hence joining the site. However, I also enjoy other mediums, from TTRPGs to MMO Roleplay servers. I was wondering if anyone else used those mediums, and organized on this site. Definitally opens up a lot of options for me. If anyone knows more, let me know. Still very new to the site.

I've always had an interest for MMO role play servers and TTRPGs. At present, I'm not a part of any MMO RP servers, but I know they're big in the spheres of FFXIV, Red Dead Online, GTA Online, and World of Warcraft. I'm sure there's many others, I'm just not presently aware of them.

If someone put together a server or world for RPR members organized through here? I'd most likely jump in.

My favorite RP MMO that I stumbled into was FFXIV. In that case, my preference was the housing plots that doubled as club, bars etc with live music (through Twitch or Youtube), and a generally fun atmosphere. Best part is, you didn't have to RP. Your character could go to the club, relax, order from the menu and just vibe with the music. Another option is to listen in to the live DJs through Twitch, which I've done several times and enjoyed it.

FFXIV even has Lux from Lucifer as one of the clubs.

Overall. a lot of MMO RPs are, what I would consider, its own culture. Looking at MMO RPs in comparison to forum had different expectations that I was new and unfamiliar to. Of course there was the standard no meta gaming and powerplaying, but the rest of the rules varied. Some of it dealt with specific mods used for the game in order to participate in the RP.


Outside of RPR, I'm a part of a few TTRPG groups. I was featured in a one-off game. Been in search for an additional game since then, but of course holidays and schedules are a mess lol.
