"She is dead!" It was like no one was listening to him, just trying to rub his face in it, "I watched the arrow go threw her heart, most likely he came back and they have been taking blood and cleaning it from her undead body..." He paused worrying he may start crying again, "But I have no idea if her body came back, with blood like ours I assumed she just died." He decided it wasn't a good idea to share that her ghost was haunting him every time he was alone. Or how his sanity had started to slip since this happened.
The day was growing old and the sun had begun to set. Most the savage had gone but one or two were still down in the front of the story, trying to claw their way up. Atlas stood at the edge as he often did and wondered what if he just fell and let them consume him, slowly, he wouldn't turn he would just lay there feeling their teeth pull through his flesh and muscle. It was a dumb thought and he stepped away from the ledge and stepped over to grab a beer. taking a sip he remembered he hated beer and took a flask out of his pocket and took a swig. It improved the warm beers flavor.

"I'm not saying anything man, relax and we'll set off tonight" he tried to calm Atlas down. It felt good sitting with someone and having a beer, it was small things he missed the most, talking to someone, drinking with someone and even the petty augments over who got whatever first.
Jaiden picked up the picture Atlas dropped and placed it into his pocket "don't lose it man, it may be the only one left"
The day went by alright, the savage cleared up and the sun began to set, it was time for them to set the plan into motion. Jaiden was returning from a quick salvage run, using his ice pick to grab the tall ledges, cracks and items he could with it. He kept down from a building from the right of the shop onto the shop roof, he looked around to see if Atlas and Nick were still around "guys, I found a grenade" he said with a cheeky smile tossing it up in his hand. He managed to scavenge some arrows, a machete and a knife from his run all of which he placed on the table along with some scrap metal, 3 pouches of nuts and bolts and a shot gun shell "machete's mine, been looking for one for a long time" he said picking it up and swinging it around then sliding it into his back holster.
"I'm going to make some traps, are you guys set?"

"I'm going to make some traps, are you guys set?"
"Uh, no offense guy, but traps are kind of my department." Nick replied, already dragging a cart with a bunch of supplies that he called his Trap Kit. "There should still be a few traps set up on the path I had in mind, we just need to set up a few more, teach you guys how they work for the getaway, and we'll be all set." He unfolded the map from yesterday on the table and and began officially mapping out the escape route. "The way I see it we should start setting up in the area closest to the entrance, and then start on the area closest to the community center later at night to avoid detection. Alright, let's get moving." With that said the three set out into the empty town, Nick decided to trust in Jai's trap making skills enough to send to the more round about pathways to start setting up some "automatic" traps, in case the bandits try to cut them off, while he and Atlas started setting up "manual" traps for the main route.
Nameless James
The Bandit leader sat in a chair with tubes running into his arm through needles, "So u really think this will work?" A dead little girl with an arrow through her heart, her blood being transferred into James, "You're saying this transfusion will save me from becoming a savage?"
A man in a doctors coat nodded, and opened a cage a Savage rushed out and James held his arm out, his fire axe in his other hand. The Saveage bit down hard and the bandit leader brought the axe down with full force slicing the beasts head off, "Now we wait," he laughed sitting back into the chair watching the bites on his arm begin to fester.
Archers on an upper level pointed their bows at their leader, "Risk is the sister of success." The man laughed as the wound turned red, then black, then shifted into purple, and then red again. Minutes passed but it felt like hours, James didn't turn and the archers lowered their weapons.
Nameless James kissed the forehead of the dead girl and chopped off her hand drinking from her severed palm, "this girl is the key to my new kingdom!" The man laughed and the crowd of Bandits cheered wildly.

Atlas walked along side Nick and Jai, the ghost of is sister strutted behind the group singing. He tried to ignore her but finally let his emotions burst out and his insanity show for another instant, "Quit that!" He whispered loudly, "Savage will hear you!" The spirit vanished and Atlas started to chuckle, "Sorry guys flash back," He admitted, this trip would hopefully help him reclaim his sanity, he needed this he needed to see her body.
What if he didn't though, what the bandit may have done to her, taken the blood from her or worse. Atlas didn't want to think about it, signs were posted all around, beware the bandit king. Skulls and heads of Savages were stuck to spikes, and Atlas forced himself to examine each one with his eyes making damn sure none of these heads were his sisters. None so far, but it was still a little ways to go until they got to the camp.

A scout rushed into the room calling to Nameless, "Calm down," Nameless hoisted his fire axe on to his shoulder as he was told about the three armed men working their way towards him and his bandit army.
The bandit group know as the Yellow Jackets, were far more notorious in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico, but they had moved this way after hearing of the Golden Blooded Boy and his Silver Blood Sister, these were just nicknames of course for the people who were unaffected by the virus. But now all the Yellow Jackets had it in their blood as well.
"Sound the Siren." Nameless said with a smile.
They were positioned in a Fire Station next to the community center, but they had created a wall of broken cars around both buildings for protection and it had working sirens which attracted the Savage. The noise would bring the Savage charging in and the intruders would be eaten alive. His group, now immune to their bites, would then wipe the undead out and continue with their business. By now the Sound of thick blurting sirens screeched through the air, "probably some lost travelers, but we must be prepared for the worst, am I right?"

The traps had all been set, the three went over the plan one last time before putting it into action. The three approached the community center as stealthily as they could, Nick figured that early morning was the best time to pull the operation off, night would be to risky with limited visibility and increased chance of hunting Savage, but mid day would be to conspicuous. They only made it to the wall of cars before they heard the blaring siren from the next building over.
"What the... oh my god, they have a siren, the siren in that place actually still works!" Nick exclaimed, this was bad, VERY bad. Not only did this mean the knew they were here, but it would attract every Savage in the town to this one spot. Sure they ran the migrating tribe out of town, but there were still plenty of other Savage that had settled in that would gladly come to the call of the siren. "Oh man this is bad, dude, we've gotta abort!"

Jaiden rubbed his forehead in frustration "We can't abort, every savage will be on our ass like a bug on a windshield, we gotta press one and take shelter in there, stay quiet in there too, it's bound to have some places int there we can hide. Obviously the leader isn't so smart if he had to use the siren for 3 bloody people" it was the best option they had and right now it wasn't up for debate "anybody wanna survive!? then follow me! " he hid from car to car seeing his firs victim aiming a rifle at a few svages emerging from streets and cars, Jaiden pulled back on his bow and the arrow flew clean through the bandit's eye.Jaiden watched the body fall from the roof "it's now or never guys! you'r in and alive or out and dead"
Atlas looked around, "you too get the body, I'll head for the fire station and turn off that damn siren!" He was unaware that the bandit leader along with his sisters body were in the fire station or he would have asked for support. He sprinted in a different direction then his comrades and headed for the deafening noise. A few arrows rained down toward him, but he wasn't dying today!
Atlas jumped into a room through a broken window of the fire station. A man raised his machete but lost his head before he could use it. Up some stairs Atlas saw the loud horn creating the noise, he sliced the cords and it stopped. He turned and a woman was at the door holding a revolver, he rolled and kicked it out of her hands. The gun hit the ground, a quick glance in the candle light showed it wasn't loaded, "scare tactics, cute" Atlas held his katana toward the woman, "where is the girl? Where is my sister?"

"No Atlas wait, we have to stick together... damn it!" Nick cursed in anger, the plan was falling apart, without Storm it was going to be a pain getting the body out of the building was going to be three times of difficult, especially with a tone of Savage on their tails. Despite his better judgment, he continued with the plan, following Jai into the building. Once inside, they ducked behind the front desk to avoid detection from some of the bandits that rushed outside. They looked rather panicked, apparently the decision to turn on the siren wasn't unanimous, that was good news for him and Jai, at least this way, they weren't completely focused on us.
"OK, we've gotta do this fast, let's just get the body and get out of here, we'll deal with the Savage once we meet back up with Atlas." He whispered.

One badnit stopped just in front of the desk, Jai had heard hi footsteps stop and the dirty stench of a bandit was the biggest signifier of their presence. Jai took a deep breath and grabbed the bandit from over the desk, wrapping his hand around his mouth and quickly bringing the knife to his throat as they wer back hidden behind the desk "Anything out of you and you'll be watching blood spewing out of your neck got it?" The bandit shook his head, jai was reluctant "Nick, Buddy scan the front is there anyone there?" he aske him only glancing a few times at him.

James saw a door at the corner of the garage open. And a woman enter, with a boy, "Welcome!" Nameless called as the door shut, "Archers," the bandit leader commanded, "hold your fire."
The the room was set up where in front of the fire house garage doors was a fire truck parked, one on the inside and one on the outside on the opposite side was a bunch of curtains where the transfusions took place and then to the left and right of the garage were chairs and one large couch where Nameless sat a few feet from where Atlas had entered.
The woman called out to James something about the golden blood girl's brother but the boy knocked her out with the hilt of his sword, "good," Nameless said toying with the small hand strung through with thread that he used as a necklace, "the gallant brother returns for his fallen sister."
A deafening laugh echoed threw the garage, "I am Nameless," he said standing up clutching his fire axe, "and I will drink from your veins!" He charged at the boy axe in hand, a battle had begun!

Nick quickly peeked over the desk, he didn't see anything so he did a fuller check, scanning the whole area.
"No, I think we're good." He replied as he ducked back behind the desk. "I'll go on ahead, you deal with him." He said and with that he stood up and made his way to the hallway. He didn't go too far before finding the entrance to the basement, but what was strange was that it wasn't at all guarded.
"Huh, that's strange, that would definitely be the place to hide a body from the Savage." He insisted, but the thought occurred to him that she was either kept somewhere else, or worse, was gotten rid of. Even if she wasn't down there, they should still secure the basement, it would make a good hiding place for when the army of Savage was upon them. He heard foot steps coming down the hall, he waited until they were halfway too him and then turned the corner, shooting an arrow straight through one of the bandit's chests. He narrowly dodged a retaliating shot from the second bandit. He took a few steps back and kneeled, and as soon as the bandit turned the corner, he nailed him in the head, killing him.

Atlas entered slowly, looking around he stood in the middle of the garage looking up at the dozen archers in the metal rafters above. "I'm Death Storm, and I'm here for my sist..." But before Atlas could finish Nameless began to rush him! Atlas raised his sword and ran at the man, dropping to his knees he slid under the first axe swing!
Atlas reached into his bag standing up he pulled his paintball mask onto his face, the word Death was carved on the Vizor and the word storm was etched into the mouth part. The two clashed blades a few times, "where is the girl," he said knot icing the hand that hung from his neck, "no...."
Rage began to build inside of Atlas, "NO! YOU ARE A MONSTER!!!" Metal clashed then the katana cut into Nameless's chest not deep enough to be fatal but enough to leave a thick cut and cause his sisters hand to fall to the floor.

Kai pressed the knife hater against the bandits mouth and let to so he could talk "killing me I showing me mercy, do what you will, I will not fight back. One of you is going with me anyway, the boss has him pinned down" Jai's eyes widened, he quickly wrapped his hand around the bandit's mouth and stabbed his hand. The bandit's scream was muffled.
"Where is he? I'm gunna make sure I make you talk" Jai said twisting the blade slowly, the bandit struggled but Jai's grip was vice-like.
"Okay" the bandit said in a shakes tone as Jai lowered his hand "in the garage, but you'll never make it, there's a dozen guards in there with him plus our leader, nameless" Jai cursed under his breath, he brought the blade to the bandit's neck who had his head held high, awaiting deaths warm embrace. With a swift movement the bandit lay dead on the floor with blood spewing from his neck.
Jai vaulted over the desk to Nick "we gotta go, atlas could be in serious trouble"

Nameless James
Nameless clutched his chest as he stumbled backward onto the ground. He saw the boy pick up the hand and examine it, "what you're looking for is behind the curtains," Nameless said laughing, "we took all the blood we needed already, what do I care if u take the body..."
Nameless was lying of course only about half of his people had received the transfusion. He lifted a hand to hold his archers from pelting the boy with arrows, a good leader had to take care of his enemies alone or he would be considered weak.
"What is your real name?" James asked standing up, "I doubt your parents named you Death Storm when you were born, or maybe your parents were psychic and knew you'd be a zombie apocalypse samurai."

Atlas tore the curtain back and their she was, broken arrow sticking out of her chest. She was a few months from being thirteen when the bandits got her. He had kicked himself ever day, it hadn't even been a month in actuality but it felt like years since he had seen her. Her face was white as the ghost she now was and her arms and body was all shriveled from the blood drawing.
"Your safe with me now," Atlas didn't remove his mask. These would be the last tears he would ever cry, and he didn't want anyone to see his vice, his final moment of weakness. The sound of foot steps came from behind him and Atlas blocked the bandits fire axe with his katana! "You're the devil!" Atlas's foot pushed James backwards forcing him to stumble, "I will take her out of here!"
Atlas dropped her severed hand into his bag and hoisted her body onto his left shoulder, holding his katana with his right hand. His eyes stared deep into Nameless's, but he knew the archers were aiming at him too. Where were Nick and Jai?

"What?" Nick replied. It was hard to believe that the infamous Death Storm would have any serious trouble with anything, but he couldn't afford to rely on rumor and speculation. No, he was a man of logic, and his logic told him that there wasn't anything here worth protecting if they left it unguarded, and so he gave up on the idea that she was in the building and decided regrouping with Atlas was the best course of action.
"...Alright, let's go." he said and with that he and Jai rushed out of the front entrance, but stopped dead in their tracts at what they saw. The siren, while brief, had indeed attracted the Savage, they had made it to the outer perimeter and begun climbing and leaping over the wall of cars, other bandits trying their best to keep them at bay.
"Damn it, this is bad, at this rate we'll be up to our necks in Savage." He stated. Things were not looking good, all the more reason to regroup and come up with another plan. "Come on, let's get into the Fire House."

His fire axe raise as he started toward Death Storm again but the boy was fast dodging his first blow the cut the hospital bed almost in two! "Damn boy you are a quick one, even with that dead slut on your back!" He began to laugh, but he was tired of this game and the guy was in the middle of the garage, "Open Fire!"
And with that the archers firing arrows at the boy, "you idiot have terrible aim!" Nameless yelled, "hit him already!!!"

Jai watched the countless number of savage, the plan crashed and burned quick and now they were split from one of their most important comrade. Jai took a moment to compose himself, rubbing his forehead with his right hand whilst making weird gestures with his left. He was muttering something to himself but it was drowned out by the scratchin, clawing and screaming of the savage. His eyes were shut as he focused "I go it! They shold be 30 degrees left of us and 20 yards from this exit!" He said looking over at Nick, he had to raise his voice to he heard over the hungry monstrosities. "Run! Quickly!" Jai yelled bolting in the direction Atlas was in, there were a few stray savages in front of them but a crossbow arrow got one of them as it flew over his shoulder. It seemed Nick's sharp shooting saved his life but there was no time to thank him.
Jai pulled back on his bow's string with two arrows aimed at the two savages in front of him pinning them to the side of the building they were headed to "JUMP!" Jai yelled as he turned to Nick and put his hands on his right knee to boost him up to the second floor window, if things were sour on the first floor they'd have Nick to flank them.
