Atlas stopped bandaging one Abe and looked at Jules, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HIM?" He want angry, the noise had just been ringing in his ears for a while now making him unable to hear his own voice. Small rives of blood ran out of his ears and down his neck, and his shirt was feeling the small drip from his neck to his collar. This is when Atlas noticed the arrow in Nick's back, "DONT MOVE!" Atlas hugged the boy pulling the arrow out all at once, his eyes turned to the loud noise across the local farm field. The corn all shook at once, "savage," Atlas said in a normal voice.
The tribe of them was ripping through the trees across the field and barreling towards them. This was the single largest tribe Atlas had ever seen! Abe was nearly passed out, Jules was unresponsive, Nick had been shot, and he was still extremely shell shocked. It was a painful decision but they had to make one, Atlas looked at nick, "WE CAN ONLY SAVE ONE!"

Jule was bleeding into his shirt, his vision was blurred to the extent he couldn't see inches from his face. His head became heave and his breathing somewhat did also, but nothing could be heard over the screams of the savages.
The archers attention turned to the savage incoming and so did the yellow jacket with the crow bar who got chomped on first. His screams were masked by that of the dead surrounding him. They had to chose quick but the question was... Who?
The man who was become a shell? The one Atlas once was? Jule who's sad, broken and almost insane... Was he worth the save? Course he could fight and he was a hell of a tactician but his sanity was slowly slipping, the choice was theirs and Julius was their choice to save

Archer reached into his pocket and pulled out a needle. 'I was really hoping to save this...' he thought as he jammed the adrenaline shot into his leg. "AGH!" he screamed, getting up. He saw all the savages. 'Time to vent.' He put on his riot shield and pulled out his sword, then ran straight at the tribe, cutting down zombies as he ran through to the back side, climbing a tree.
The archer and crowbar fellow saw the heard coming too. They turned and each jumped on a bike, exiting threw the back of the house. Speeding away they evaded the savage for an instant but a bit further down the road the archer was in a dangerous crash nearly dying. "God damnit!"
Someone probably the kid who snuck behind had cut the breaks. Both Yellow Jackets got on the good motorcycle and escaped the horde. And made there way back to Nameless James and the others still camped out in Kansas City.
The ride was smooth but the archers legs were badly scraped up. If he didn't get help soon he'd probably not be able to walk again.
As for the girl rider who escaped earlier, she was almost back at the base. The stand off at the farm house had lasted almost an hour and Topeka was fairy close to that, soon Nameless James would know the samurai's location, then it'd be an all out war!

Nick watched as the mad man bone rushed the tribe of Savage, he slashed the first few and then climbed up a very old looking tree. The Savages gathered around it, attempting to climb the tree after him, but from the angle, he could easily kick or chop them off, he seemed safe. The Savage seemed to give up, as they backed away from the tree, however, they continued to watch him intently, as if waiting for something, an din a moment Nick saw what. On the other side of the tree, larger, stronger looking Savages began grabbing on the tree, shaking it violently until, incredibly, they unrooted it, taking hold of the roots in order to pull the tree out of the ground.
"ABE, GET OUT OF THERE!!!" Nick called, but it was too late. The Savages pulled at the roots, and with one powerful tug, it collapsed, falling to the ground. "NO!!" If Abe wasn't crushed by the fall, he would be trapped within the branches, unable to escape, nothing but trapped pray for the ravenous Savage. Nick couldn't believe it, how could this have happened, he had just joined the party and yet his time was drawing to close so soon. He wanted to try and help him, but he knew he couldn't, the Savages were already tearing through the branches and grabbing at him, there was nothing he could do. He looked away...
"Guess he made our choice for us."

Atlas watched in horror as Abe was bit, over and over again. "Nick take Jules and make for the house!" Atlas attempted to start up his chain saw but it was out of gas from the day before in the parking garage. "Damn it!!!" A savage bolted for him and he stumbled back, he was listening to the screams of Abe as he was eaten alive. "I'm sorry!" Atlas struggled to run fast with the chainsaw, and the bow, he dropped the chainsaw to be able to run faster. He picked up pace as the screams of the boy slowly died down, if it wasn't for Abe the savage would have caught the three of them. Thanks Abe, Atlas thought in his head, he couldn't help to wonder what Abe's last thoughts were. And began to wonder if all of them would die, to be honest no one really survived in the Rot World.
(Thanks for killing me off without my consent...)
Jule's vision was completely blurred out, darkness crept over as Nick helped him over to the house, from the corner of his eyes he spotted Abe's carcass sprawled out underneath a tree, the graphic sight was the only thing he could see, his organ's being ripped out of his torso as they fought for him... they were named appropriately... as savage.
As they got into the house, Nick sat Julius against the far living room wall, he could just about see the door parallel to him, his vision, still blurry but also shaky, he could about focus on it.

(I guess I'll still watch.)
Atlas saw Nick was watching the front with Jule's, "keep him safe! No matter whatever won't lose another guy!" He yelled baring the doors and windows. Would this be there last stand, with Nameless still out there somewhere? He hit most of the openings in the front before running up stairs, he still had Jai's bow and was ready to use it. He took aim at a zombie head, and missed. Another arrow ready, fire! Missed, and the next several shots were the same. Miss, miss, miss, "Got one!" Atlas paused, "wait no that was Nick from downstairs..." What a terrible weapon for him, savage literally everywhere and he hadn't even stuck one!
A savage climbed the houses gutter and Atlas stabbed it's head with one of the arrows, before aiming and firing! Miss... If they got out of this alive he would need to get his chainsaw back. His eyes scanned the room behind him once he had spent all his arrows punishing the weeds and ground for no reason at all. His eyes found a yellow and black painted box, he opened it smiling. A grenade in each hand he tossed them out the window covering his ears.
Boom!! Savage parts flew across the farm yard, Boom!!! Savage began to back off slowly, only a few still clawed at the doors and windows. "Thanks Nameless," he said sarcastically, looking out at the collapsed tree, was Abe's body moving?

(Yeah I'll just watch.)
Nick tried his best to hold off the Savage, with his shoulder wounded it was difficult to properly hold his crossbow, let alone aim, however, he fought through the pain as best he could, and besides, he was still doing a better job than Atlas.
"...GAAAAAHHHHHH! Dude, what the heck!" He yelled up at the terrible archer above, they really needed to get him a melee weapon. He continued firing, he managed to keep the Savage away from him and Julius fairly well, despite his injuries, but they just seemed to keep coming, this was an incredibly large tribe, it was most likely comprised of refugees from other tribes that were killed by survivors, despite seeming like nothing more than ravenous killers, they had a strange sense of community and loyalty, probably even more so than humans.
He was beginning to think that this was the last stand, one they would certainly end up losing, but than a ray of hope appeared, in the form of a loud explosion of a hand grenade, two in fact. The explosion sent many Savages to a well deserved grave, as well as attracted the Savages on the other side of the house to the front, opening up a path for them. "Now's our chance, help me get Julius up and we'll sneak out the back!" Nick called to Atlas, already helping Julius to his feet.

Julius was just looking at the door with very shakes vision as he kept his eyes open. He shifted his position and grabbed his throwing knife because the width of the knife is the same width of the wound in his torso. The cut was just above his diaphragm and just below his right lung, luckily missing his vital organs.
He pulled his lighter from his left pocket then heated up the tip of the blade, sweat tuning down dis forehead and cheeks. He took a deep breath and slowly inserted the blade into wound stopping any further bleeding, followed by an agonising scream as it went in and.
He dropped the blade and lighter then placed a gentle hand on the now closed wound, he felt the stinging of his finger on his raw skin.
He quickly looked up at Nick, grabbed, grabbed his knife and lighter and stood up leaning in him 'wait we gotta make sure Abe is dead!' He looked between the boys 'cmon would you want to come back as a savage!?'

Atlas came down at Nick's request, "we don't have time for that Jules!" Atlas took Jules on his back, "cover me as we go!" He burst out the back door and took off in a half sprint, he ran as fast as his shivering shell shocked body would let him. He had no idea where he was running to, all he knew was to run! He didn't look back but assumed Nick was still following. He adjusted Jule's body on his back and dropped the bow, "damn it!" But it was too late, don't look back, don't look back.
He had no weapon, no escape, and no hope. He just kept running, please find a car please. He pushed threw a corn field getting whacked and smacked around by the corn and maze. He pushed and pushed and came to an opening. "Air port?" He did not stop to catch his breathe, "awesome!" The building was too far down the runway but a small plane was sitting diagonal a bit. He boarded the plane, a laying Jukes in one of the pilots chairs! A savage came from the back of the plane and Atlas grabbed it's face and snapped it's neck and it fell over butting at the ground, he stomped on the head crushing it and turned.
Where was Nick? Savage began to swarm the run way! Atlas started the engine, it had a bit of fuel but how long had the gas been in it? Would it even work?? The propellers began to turn, "**** yeah!!!" The door was still open, but where the hell was Nick? Did he fall back to cover them, or was he eaten like Abe. The plane picked up speed, "Sorry Nick..." But somewhere in the back of his mind he still believed Nick would jump aboard.

Nick did as he was told and provided cover fire as the group rushed out of the back door of the house. He killed a few stray Savage that had not relocated to the front of the house yet, there were only about six of which that lingered and chased after them down the street. He tried his best to pick them off, looking back and taking aim as best he could, but he rarely landed a kill shot, and the constant stopping made him fall behind the other two, until he eventually lost sight of them.
"Damn it, where'd they go?" He said out loud as he tried to get his bearings. He looked around, trying to think of where they would head too, but the thing was Nick knew Atlas wasn't exactly on top of his game, having practically taken an explosion to the face, and so he had no idea what he was thinking and where he would end up going. "Well, at the very least I let them get away." He said as the Savage started to gain, he decided just to act alone and go to the most likely place for shelter. He examined the area and noticed a large mass of buildings, and figured that was best place to head. As he approached he soon realized just how far the buildings where and he was running low on steam, however he did notice the strange roadway that surrounded the buildings and figured out where he was.
"An Airport?" He didn't think there would be an airport in this small town, but it seemed like it was not for commercial use. The planes on the runway were small, fit for only a small party. "Man, if only..." He thought, but it just seemed to far fetched... until he heard the sound of propellers spinning in the distance. He looked up and saw that one of the planes was starting up. "...no way." He said, but his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Savage approaching. The sound of the propellers were attracting them, he didn't know who was in there, but it was his only chance. He made a mad dash to the plane, killing Savage in his immediate path, the plane began to pick up speed, and so did Nick. "Wait, please, wait!" Nick exclaimed, but he knew they wouldn't stop, he just had to pick up the pace. Adrenaline was rushing through Nick's veins, him completely ignoring how tired he was until he was running right beside the plane. He desperately reached for the doorway and just he was thought he would miss it, he grabbed it and pulled himself on board.
"...room... for one more?" He said through panting, trying to catch his breath.

Nameless's head base was at the Kansas City Airport, he was surrounded by jumbo jets and the string of terminals. The yellow jackets had settled fairly nicely into the the airport itself, as for the bandit king himself James made his home in the air traffic controllers tower. And was wide awake when the scouts returned with news of Death Storm.
"At the scientists house you say?" Nameless asked, "and you executed her correct? Dr. Delilah Rowan, she was a pretty one I heard."
He slumped back in his chair, and was surprised when news of the other two arriving back jingled over the radios static. "Wow killed one and they got three more on the way. So they picked up a friend or two did they?"
Nameless looked toward the skies, "well if they are on their way here, we should be prepared, battle stations!" An outer gate of plane parts and barbed wire was strung around the airport. But little did anyone know the samurai's gang would be arriving from above!

Atlas was not an archer, not a trapper and definitely not a pilot. His skills included, speaking, driving, slashing, and bashing! Not flying, so he had no idea why he had decided this was a good idea. "Nick! Thank god!" Atlas cried, "I think Jules is passed out! Close the doors and tend to his wounds if he is even still alive." The door was pulled shut, probably by Nick. And the plane was less windy and loud. But now moans could be heard from the back, "I wouldn't try to use the bathroom." It seemed that the Savage that Atlas had found in here must have been bitten pushing the other two into the bathroom. They hadn't really tried to fight it before because their hadn't been fresh blood in the area.
The plane shook again raising steadily. They had about half a tank of gas surprisingly and Atlas looked around in the distance was Kansas City. If they could head straight on too St. Louis and never have to deal with another Savage. "Nick," he said softly, "you know the house that..." He had to be straight with Nick, "Jai he sent us to 8 Fosters Ln, and that was the address of the house that the Yellow Jackets were in."
There was a long silence, knowing they had let down their friend was painful but those thoughts were pushed to the far back reaches of their minds when the bathroom door burst open letting out two Savage. Nick had expelled all his bolts and Jules was probably unconscious. So the only melter fighter was trying to fly a plane. Would they have to land in Kansas City? The seven or eight Rot Doll flowing out of the small restroom told them their answer. "Dude!!!!" Atlas yelled, trying to hold the plane steady.

Julius was in and out of conciousness, trying to push as they got onto the plane, from what he made pout, they got a plane and nick was the last to board. Jule finally caught himself awake, gasping for air as he pressed onto the pain in his stomach, the wound had closed but it was still fresh.
Jule pushed himself up to help nick out with the savages, though it wasn't the best plan, it was the only one. His vision was a little shaky and his eyes fund it impossible to focus, his balance was off and the shaking f the plane itself wasn't working well for him being in the state he is.
Never the less, Jule took hold of his hatchets, The burning pain on his torso caused him to flinch here and then, but he kept up his guard, The two savages were finding it hard for them to make it to them but the bloody rot dolls seemed to be headed for them as they crawled down the isle of seats.
'I'll be fine! Lets kill these bastards!' he said to Nick, nodding at him but before he could do anything three rot dolls got close enough to leap at them. In mid leap, Atlas must've attempted a barrel roll because every one, including the nestlings flew straight into the ceiling of the plane 'Holy Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!' Julius exclaimed as he hit it head first, the landing caused himto wince in pain 'Mother of fffff....' he said holding his wound.
it seemed 2 rot dolls were crushed by some luggage but the 3rd seemed to recover quite quickly "Nick handle the last Cub!" he shouted then turned to Atlas 'Turn the plane back around and fly straight up!" he exclaimed to Atlas, slidin his Hatchets into their sheaths.
Jule was crazy enough to fall straight into the enemies but the door was their best hope, if atlas does as he asked, Jule could fall straight down and catch the door's handle in time "Nick hold on!"

"..." Nick was in a stunned silence, he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Till then he figured that running into the Yellow Jackets when they did was just coincidence, a little stray of bad luck, but now... it was a cruel, sick joke played by the fates themselves. Suddenly, the wrinkled letter in his pocket that he had all but forgotten weighed more than a brick, forcing him to the ground, staring blankly at the floor. "But... but we promised..." Was all he could manage to say, barely above a whisper at that.
Suddenly, he was brought out of his sorrow by the sound of the Savage breaking through the bathroom door. He readied his crossbow but he was unfortunately out of bolts, he had expended them during their previous bout at the house. "Damn..." he said under his breath, without his bow he was basically useless, sure he still had his intellect, but he doubted he could think his way out of this one. He looked around for something he could defend with and found small luggage back that had wheels to roll on the floor with. He grabbed it by the handles, and using it as a makeshift club he began bashing the Savage back away from the front of the plane. With the turbulence the Savage were having trouble moving around, but unfortunately, so was he, and even with Julius now awake to help him out, it wasn't an easy task. Suddenly, the plane flipped over, taking the survivors and the Savage with it. Luckily two of the Nestlings were killed in the process, and one of the Savage broke it's neck, but was still alive. Once the plane steadied itself he looked over to Julius, who called at him.
"Alright, you got it." He replied to his command. He bashed the wall with the luggage, gaining the Nestlings attention, and once it leaped at him, he summoned all of his remaining strength and smashed it back into the ground, stomping on it for good measure. He heard Julius telling him to "hold on", and with that he braced himself.

Atlas had no idea what he was gonna do, he heard the Rotting babies coming for them and he had to have both his hands glued to the steering wheel. But in a last resort attempt he pushed the throttle faster to top speed and rolled the plane. When they settled they where flying straight but if you thought it was hard to fly a plane you have never flown a plane upside down. It dipped and rose and by the time Jule's yelled to Atlas he was planning a second roll, it would be the only thing to be able to get right side up. Unless of course...
"Hold on!" Atlas laughed, sanity slipping by the second, "I did this in a video game once!" His eyes shot the boys behind him for a second, "Open the door!" And with that he angled the plane up... But because they were upside down it was actually down. The savages had hands and could grab things but the rot dolls should roll down the isles and be sucked out the door.
As the plane headed at a right angle almost straight down the boys became weightless as the dolls were sucked from the plane into the left side propeller causing it to light on fire. The plane rolled again putting it right side up and slammed the boys back on the ground. "How many left?" He was laughing like a mad man, his idea had actually worked!" At least their wing was still intact, for now.
