You know, considering all the things that have been going on, I was expecting this year to end up a bit more subdued and limited, but thinking maybe I was very wrong about that.
It's not the *biggest* I have ever done, but I really really wanted to give everyone something nice.
You always do, and I think you deliver pretty well, personally.
I dunno about anyone else, but when I was making riddles this year, I leaned heavily on love and friendship and joyful sorts of themes. There isn't enough of that going around at the moment.
There was definitely a bit of a theme for a lot of the riddles this year, unrelated as they were. It was like half the population was coordinating.
Someone I know let it slip that they'd submitted a riddle. 
They didn't provide any clues about it and privately assured me it related to something they've rarely, if ever, talked about around those of us who could have gotten a clue from their identity. They were just really excited.

Hahah! I think there's a group of us that often submit stuff, but I'm excited to see things from new faces, too. Everyone thinks so differently as to how to puzzle things out. 
Also: I got SO MANY riddle submissions this year that I banked a few for next year, so poooosssibly it won't have relevance *yet*
Oh, was also neat to see the crystals make a return. One of the people I dragged into RPR like a couple years ago (SaharaSunset) really wanted a pink laser sword.
I think they are SO old a lot of people think they are brand new!

If there isn't a DF riddle...... DF is probably dead. 
I much prefer DF being alive.

Also, it always makes me a little giddy when I see mascots I submitted getting used. ^^ And hopefully I'll eventually be able to start making more again! Haven't had the time, focus, or energy the past few years, and this year my tablet (which honestly really needs to be replaced anyway) is in storage.
