Yes, Jousaesca, it may look daunting at first... I came here in early August from years of Proboards and Jcink forums, which became aggravating with the personality of folks... but since then I have made my way to what I may consider as good progress. And as I began to explore and ask many questions, I may have found my niche here... so do not worry..."it will come... if you build it... "(LOL paraphrased from a movie). Til then do not get frustrated... if you do, ask for help...

Welcome to RPR ! you will find many Rp's both 1-1 and groups advertised in the Forums, make sure to ask people if you find characters you are interested in as many players are often seeking RP with those characters or others.
Hello! Welcome to RPR! The best tips I can suggest are to build a character profile that has some kind of depth to it. When people make characters, it's completely okay to be vague and make up the story as you go along, but when there's nothing to go by, it is difficult to interact with them when you have nothing to go on.
I also recommend you checking out the forums! They're the best place to start out and you may even find a fellow writer there. They'll be good for world-building and character development as well! I hope you find what you're looking for and if you have any questions feel free to ask any one of us! We'll be glad to help! Take care out there and have a good 'un!
