Hello everyone,

I am new! Which is cool. I am also writing this intro quickly so bear with me, please!

I am an adult, a multidisciplinary artist, and an academic (my major research focuses on psychology, forensics, and criminal justice). I have a pet British Shorthair. She's grey. I also like biology, medical science, philosophy, linguistics, film, and many other subjects. My favorite authors are Brett Easton Ellis, Aldous Huxley, Albert Camus, William S. Burroughs, Anthony Burgess, etc. I enjoy reading about psychology, specifically Jungian psychology. My favorite film directors are David Lynch and David Cronenberg.

I'm looking to make some new friends with similar interests. I've rp'ed in the past, but haven't had the time to keep up with it in recent years because, you know, adulting comes with many obligations that need priority.

Most of my interests in the story-building/RP arena pertain to horror. I'm especially fond of Lovecraftian horror, sci-fi, speculative fiction, body horror, Lynchian themes, and just downright nasty stuff (this includes potential erotica/sexual material). Nothing is off-limits. I enjoy boundary-pushing when it comes to story-building and role-playing.

It sounds like you've got everything on the board about your interests and what you seek! I like your specific genre myself, but those academic studies --chef's kiss! I went to uni for some of similar studies but wound up in English lit with a writing emphasis and a minor in communication. I was going for criminal justice but things changed and I don't know what happened, hah hah.. Anyhoo, I definitely love your choice in hobbies as well! You're a veritable detective!
