Alone Teen & Unexpected Parent
This will contain mentions of abuse, substances, neglect & overall potentionally triggering situations.
In New York City lied many unwanted kids, along with many adults in situations no one can see fit would make them a parent. That was until one day, Friday night, one of these adults come across this young teen at a loud house party with liquor, drugs, and loud music. The boy was alone, strangely alone. They approach him, ask the kid if he's okay, if he's alone, why he's even there to begin with. The boy is drunk, or high, or even both - which is obvious to anyone. They take the boy out of the house, offering him a place to stay for the night, insisting on him staying the night to keep safe. Anyone could easily take advantage of him in this state - which the adult saw immediately.
The boy had run away from his group home a few days before this party, he had run away once school closed for summer break. Those seven days he's been sleeping in alley ways just trying to stay alive. He's not a day over fifteen when this happens, seeing how he stumbled upon the house party on his birthday, May 20th, turning fifteen years old..
Your character will be the adult (unexpected parent). They must be 21+, but it doesn't matter if their a man or woman. They may have a rough past with addiction, partying, family, or just life as a whole. Someone who wouldn't, shouldn't, be expected as a parent. They'll feel drawn to help this random boy, maybe even seeing a part of themselves in him. Their fondness will grow so deeply for the boy so when the authorities finally grab ahold of him again at the end of summer, they'll do everything in their power to get him back. Without realizing, this boy just being there will help them move pass whatever trauma they have that was controlling their life all along, giving them something to hope for, to wake up to, to protect.
I do require several paragraphs per response minimum. Detailed replies that is, along with detailed character sheets. The more writen the better. Obviously, I enjoy darker themes, which this plot will consist much of. I already have the boys character sheet made, but I will make any adjustments necessary.

No romance at all will be included in this plot, period.
