Where would the third clue work in though? No matter which way I slice it, I can't seem to bring the second and third clues together in my head.

Sadly, not a clue! Someone out there has to get it!

There's got to be something about the first clue. I ran it through several different anagram solvers, tried seeing if mixing it up differently helped, but I've got nothing.

Whoo! Hmm, they seem to be more malicious, and destructive then healers. Perhaps we should look more into the game of thrones universe then? Perhaps something in relation to the starks?

I tried Melisandre it didn't work, but she is a Shadowbinder

NWN is D&D we've not had a repeat yet of a fandom.

The shadowbinder priestess, who sees Snow (connected to the Starks) through flames and speaks the old, high tongues... is not it. :p I just tried Melisandre, and it is not she!

I still think it was a good guess, though.

I've tried every significant character and otherwise in relation to anything with Shadowbinders in GoT and have gotten nadda

Dunno if this helps but, the banner for Solitude in Skyrim is A wolfs head, rather similar to the one we see on the portal. I know I'm still looking through TES Stuff since that's a universe I'm more familiar with,
