I looked up a list of Star Wars games about the main character coming from the Empire, and this is what I got:

Okay one symbol is the symbol for the Klingon empire or looks like it, another is the symbol for SGA, it's the atlantis Chevron.

I'll work up a master post for the sci fi portal like we have on the first page of this thread for the mysterious portal. Hopefully that can get all these clues into one place for us.
