It was a rather warm evening at the port. The tide was low, people were lounging on the coasts, a boat or two would come or go, and the market was slow, as lunch had just passed. A few tourists still roamed, and the market sellers were mostly cleaning up, and a small boat arrived, passengers unboarding. The dock led straight to the market, and among the first stalls the arrivals saw, was a sign that read; "Kitchen AI.ds ; Artificially Intellegent helpers; more than 100 recipes and 500 commands installed."
"Hi!" The seller said, "They're usefull beyond the kitchen as well. They can retrieve shoes, snacks, the mail, if you still get paper. Jars, seasonings, they can even stir pots for you while you're away! Only 200 credits!" Her voice was cheerful, but something about here eyes looked like she would happily be anywhere else on a day like this.

A bipedal creature, deep purple skin with pink rune-like markings, tentacle-like hair, tentacles in front of its mouth, climbed up the dock. It had webbed hands with long, dark claws. Pink heart-shaped pupils landed on the Kitchen A.I.ds sign, and the young woman who was selling them. The creature sidled up to the sign and leaned on it.
"Yo," she said. "Glad I'm not too late. This planet is getting sucked into a wandering supermassive blackhole tomorrow, and these babies are going to skyrocket in price."
She raised an eyebrow at the lady. "Still, two hundred credits? That's spaceway robbery."
She fished around in her pockets a moment. She pulled out her hologram wallet. She paused when she checked her balances.
"200 credits. Aw, dromester. I don't have it. Uh. How much is 200 credits in jograns? Larads? I got various assorted gems and also stock in a very prominent chewing gum company."
