A two story pub in the middle of nowhere and everywhere. The pub is surrounded by a forest, and there is often a brawl in front of the pub.
The pub is a mix of rustic and modern, if modern means around 20 - 30 years ago. The long brown leather couch by the window is a hit among couples and folks in a need of a nap. The jukebox beside the restroom doesn't require any coin to play and has a variety of over 100 songs. Behind the bar counter is the door to the pub's kitchen. If you listen closely, a small TV can be heard in between the shouting of orders and arguments.
Take a trip upstairs to the loft and a view of what's going on down below. There is another restroom as well as a ladder that takes you to the rear tower. In the rear tower is a small and cozy reading nook to relax and have a beer in.
Pub Rules
1. No fighting indoors. Take it outside and bets are allowed too.
2. Everyone is welcome. We don't discriminate.
3. We may accommodate sailors, but don't come up and swear like one.
4. If you make a mess, ya clean it up.
5. Since kiddos are allowed in here, no 18+ behavior ya dirty folks.
Kaiza, the owner of this joint, finished up cleaning for the morning and went to flip the neon sign in the window to OPEN. He kept the furniture and decor the same as it was possibly 20 or 30 years ago in memory of Mama. The Chain by Fleetwood Mac was playing from the jukebox. "I can still hear you saying we will never break the chain," he sang along to it for a moment.
He placed the broom back in the corner and walked behind the bar, awaiting for the first customer of the day.

Gui looked at the pub with interest. It looked like the buildings in Mondstat with its cream colored walls and blue roofing. He walked into the pub and placed his naginata into the aged metal umbrella stand by the door.
"Welcome to The Snuggly Badger, man," Kaiza said with a wide smile. "What can I get ya?"
"Hi there," Gui said, "Can I get a cup of hot oolong tea? Oh, do you accept mora here?" He digged in his pocket for his pouch of mora.
"Yep! That would be 1,000 mora." Kaiza began to prepare the tea while Gui slid his mora on the bar counter. A cup of streaming oolong tea was placed in front of him.
"Thank you," Gui asked with a smile and sipped his tea.

By now, most of the regulars had came for the day. Hey Ya! by OutKast started to play from the jukebox. A few minutes earlier, a shouting match had started between two people about a hockey game. Now those two are outside, dragging each other through the dirt. Some people gathered around the window to watch, and others went on porch to watch with a drink in hand.
Kaiza had the bet box pulled out and placed on the corner. "Come and bet over here!" He called out.
"I'll place on the short and stocky one," a regular said and placed a wad of cash in the wooden box. "To me, Greenbean has more advantages than the other guy," another regular argued. "Well, bet on it!"

Niko's son, Luka, sat at the bar counter with a milkshake given to him by Kaiza. 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton began playing as soon as Niko walked out of the kitchen.
"Luka, are you doing your homework?" He walked over to Luka with the young boy giggling. "Yes, Papa," Luka said with a smile. Niko ruffled up his son's hair with pride. "Good."

Music wasn't playing on the jukebox at the moment so Gui decided it was time to leave. "Thank you for the tea," Gui said and waved before grabbing his naginata from the umbrella stand.
"No problem! Come back again," Kaiza said in glee. Niko nodded and went back into the kitchen. Gui left the pub as a satisfied customer.
The fight outside had stopped with the short one knocked out. "Greenbean wins!" A regular who was the referee shouted.

Niko was mumbling the lyrics to Sweet O' Child Mine by Guns N' Roses as he wrote the specials on the chalkboard on the wall behind the bar counter. "Couldn't you have done this? You're taller," he said with annoyance to Kaiza.
"Aw, but your handwriting is a lot nicer," the younger man responded. Niko rolled his eyes at him.
"Don't forget to add that mocktails are half the price of the drink," Kaiza chimed. "Oh and-"
"Don't forget to add about the lemonade tap," Niko interrupted him and wrote it down.

"We ran out of vanilla ice cream a day ago," Niko said with a ever present frown.
"Damn, what now? The nearest store is 30 miles away." Kaiza shook his head in disappointment.
"I'll go see if we can borrow some from Trixie's," Niko said and took off his apron. "Behave for Mr. Davis, okay?" He said to Luka who was scribbling in his coloring book.
"Okay," Luka said, not looking up from the coloring book. He had already broken a few crayons in half. Niko hopped into his truck and headed over to Trixie's.

He pushed the door open and stepped in pulling a hand truck with him. There were tubs of various ice cream. He left the hand truck behind before walking out and then returning with boxes of different baked goods.
"Housewarming gift" he said with a grin.

Xia Ling loved mornings just as much as he adored late nights. Nature's beauty was always something to behold: be it dawn, midday, twilight, or midnight. Be it a sunny, rainy, cloudy, stormy or a windy day. That's what Xia Ling believed. As the manager of his modelling agency, the man always seemed to have his schedule packed. But nothing ever stopped him from neglecting his schedule. He always did his work in time, just not abiding by a routine. And his workload, which would seem immense to any other person talking about him, didn't bother him or weigh him down at all. He loved his work and his life both, and was quite satisfied with whatever he had.
Thus, he woke up early in the morning to go for a walk into the woods and feel the warm sun on him. On his way back to the city, he picked up a mixed scent...of good food and drink, and the faintest trace of the aroma of finest coffee in it, and it led him all the way to the entrance of the pub.
He walked past the door, a smile on his face, as he seemed to mutter the word "Beautiful" to himself while he walked over to the counter, just wordlessly leaning against it and watching the two chalking out the 'day's specials' on the board behind the counter, scanning the list with curiosity, his left palm holding his chin up as his elbow rested on the counter. As they turned, he spoke.
"Ah...yes, coffee. The fine aroma called me here. I can tell that it is of commendable quality. What types do you offer?"

"Thank you," Kaiza said with smile towards the gift of ice cream tubs and a box of baked goods. "Shifty Eyes can't really make desserts that well so I appreciate it." Niko nodded and wheeled the hand truck with the baked goods on top of the tubs into the kitchen. He then returned the hand truck to Mathuis.
Kaiza turned to look at their tall and frankly newcomer with a friendly smile. "Welcome to the Snuggly Badger! For coffee, my man, we got dark, city, and French roast at the moment," he said. "Just tell me how you like it."

Kaiza was writing the daily specials on the chalkboard menu. Niko called off of work due to unknown circumstances. He assumed that had something to deal with that mysterious woman that Niko lives with.
On the empty chalkboard, he wrote Help Wanted! in bold letters. P.Y.T. by Michael Jackson played from the jukebox.

Hange Zoe burst into the pub with a wide grin, their eyes lighting up behind round glasses—well, one eye, at least. The other was covered by a worn eyepatch, adding to their slightly disheveled yet charismatic look. Their unkempt brown hair bounced slightly as they moved, and their long coat swayed with each step.
"Wow!" they exclaimed, practically vibrating with excitement. "This place looks amazing!"
They wandered around, sniffing the air with exaggerated enthusiasm. "And the smell is so good!" They took another deep breath, savoring the mix of roasted food and ale before making their way to the front.
"Hi there!" they greeted, leaning forward with an eager smile, ready to strike up a conversation.

Emeris walks into the pup, sitting down at the bar as he rests his head for a couple of minutes. He raises his head, staring the at the menu blankly as he takes in the information.
Kaiza watched as the first customer of the day walked, practically shaking with excitement. That was a refreshing pace from the usually moody and broody drunks that come at 8 am. "Thank you and welcome to The Snuggly Badger!" He said, nearly matching their enthusiasm. "You're in luck 'cause you get a bite or sip outta the first batch!"
The next customer was clearly royalty and almost looked like he came out of a bishoujo manga. "Welcome to The Snuggly Badger. What can I get for ya?" Kaiza lowered his voice to not start or add to a possible headache for the king.

Hange grinned widely at the energetic greeting. They couldn't help but match Kaiza's excitement, their eyes sparkling with curiosity. "The first batch, huh? Well, I must be lucky!" they said, leaning in slightly, their tone playful. "I'll take whatever you've got that’s unique, something that’ll give me a good story to tell!"
They gave Kaiza a wide, eager smile, ready to dive into whatever the bar had to offer.
Then, noticing the royal customer with an almost dramatic flair, Hange tilted their head. "Quite the entrance," they muttered, unable to hide their fascination. "I bet you have some interesting stories yourself!" They flashed a grin at the newcomer, their voice carrying the same energy. "But, back to my drink. Surprise me!"

"Surprise you?" Kaiza's eyes then gleamed with a idea. "I can do that!" He exclaimed and grabbed a cactus shaped cup. Kaiza then poured two ounces of soju, two oz of Yakult, two oz of coconut water, and finishing it off with a half ounce of star fruit simple syrup. He added a whole lot of ice in it before stirring it with a spoon.
Kaiza added a paper umbrella and bendy straw to it before handing it to Hange Zoe. "I present to you a cactus juice cocktail!" He smiled brightly. "As for stories, I got tales of pranks and stuff. If you want more war and tragic stories, Niko usually has those, but he isn't here today."

Hange’s eyes gleamed with excitement as they took a sip of the cactus juice cocktail, immediately grinning at the unexpected combination of flavors. "This is fantastic!" they exclaimed, giving Kaiza an approving nod. "Definitely a drink I won’t forget!"
At Kaiza’s mention of stories, Hange leaned forward, their curiosity practically overflowing. "Pranks, war, tragedy—I’m interested in all of it!" they said eagerly, their grin widening. "There’s always something fascinating in any story. The lighter ones are fun, but sometimes, the darker or more intense tales can be just as thrilling!"
They leaned in a little closer, their voice full of energy. "What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good story—whether it’s full of laughs or full of... more serious stuff. You never know what might surprise you. So, hit me with whatever you've got! I’m all ears!" They waved their hand enthusiastically as if daring him to share the best tale he had.

The man rubs his forehead gently, his eyes half lidded. "Please excuse me if my responses are a bit lackluster, I haven't been able to get much sleep lately. Can I order your Citrus Whiskey Sour... hmm, 1 order of your Braised Ribs please, with a side of Loaded Potato Skins? And maybe a chocolate lava cake, if you'd be so kind."
Hange glanced over at the man as he made his order, tilting their head slightly, their expression softening with a bit of concern. "Oof, lack of sleep can really hit hard," they remarked, their tone sympathetic. "I hear that, though. Sometimes, you just need a good meal and a drink to settle in."
