General concept: Magic based mixed with monsters. In my AU, Monsters and Witches/Wizards are separate from each other. So, wizards and witches don't count as monsters.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance is required from early on, but there will be some semblance of a plot beyond the relationship.
