Asa sighed and started jogging alongside them, not really thrilled about running but knowing she had no choice.

“I guess it’s not the worst thing ever,” she muttered. “At least it’s not some team sport where I have to actually interact with people.”

"You say that, but I’d rather be anywhere else," Yoru grumbled in her head. "This is a waste of time."

Asa rolled her eyes. “You complain more than Vextra.”

Asa huffed, trying to keep up without getting too winded. "Yeah, well, at least you guys have the energy for this."

"If I had control, I’d be done with this in seconds," Yoru scoffed. "Not wasting my time running in circles like a headless chicken."

Asa sighed. "Yeah, well, I’d rather not get detention for letting you take over and causing another scene." She glanced at Sooyoung and Vextra. "I think I’ll just pace myself before I collapse.

Asa shrugged. "I know the basics, but I'm not great at it."

"Tch. What kind of pathetic question is that?" Yoru scoffed, cracking her knuckles through Asa’s body. "I don’t just know how to play—I dominate."

Asa groaned. "Oh no…"

Yoru grinned, her eyes glinting with pure competitiveness. "You wanna see who's dumb enough to go against a 'soccer champion'? Try me."

Yoru’s eyes narrowed as she glared at Sooyoung. “Oh, you think you can handle me?!” She practically growled, her competitive energy rising. She walked to the center, snatching the ball with a wicked grin. "You’re about to regret challenging me!"

Asa sighed, rubbing her temples. "This is gonna be a mess…"

Yoru huffed, glaring at Sooyoung. "I’ll make sure you eat your words!"

Yoru immediately dashed after Sooyoung, her eyes burning with competitive fire. "You won't get away that easily!" she yelled, closing the distance with unnerving speed. Her focus was laser-sharp, and as Sooyoung tried to keep the ball in front of her, Yoru swiftly slid in, aiming to steal it with a perfectly timed tackle.

"You're gonna regret challenging me!" Yoru sneered, her grip tightening around the ball as she gained control. She was utterly determined to win.

Yoru’s face turned a deep shade of red as she watched the ball soar into the net. She froze for a moment, staring at the goal in disbelief. "No way!" she growled, her competitive nature raging. "I let you do that! You got lucky!"

As the others cheered, Yoru’s frustration boiled over, and she stomped her foot, crossing her arms tightly. "This isn’t over!" she huffed, tears welling in her eyes as she struggled to keep her pride intact. "I’ll beat you next time! I will!"

Her voice cracked a little, but she quickly wiped away the tears, determined not to let anyone see her breakdown. She turned away, pretending it didn’t bother her, though it was clear she wasn’t happy with losing. Asa glanced at Yoru, her heart sinking at the sight of her friend so upset. She hesitated for a moment, torn between letting her have space and trying to comfort her. After a beat, Asa slowly walked over, her voice soft.

"Hey, Yoru..." she said gently, standing beside her. "It’s just a game, you know? You don’t have to win everything." She reached out, lightly touching her arm. "You’re really good, and I’m sure next time, you’ll crush it. Don’t be so hard on yourself."

Asa offered a small, reassuring smile, hoping it would help ease Yoru’s frustration.

Yoru took a deep breath, wiping away the last of her frustrated tears. She looked up at the group, still a bit pouty but slowly calming down. "I... I know," she muttered, voice quieter now. "It's just... I hate losing. Especially when I try so hard."

She wiped her face again, her pride taking a hit, but she appreciated the support. "I’ll try to have more fun next time, I guess." Yoru gave a half-smile, trying to shake off the feeling of defeat. "But I’m still gonna beat you next time, Sooyoung. You can count on that."

Yoru looked at Sooyoung's outstretched hand and hesitated for a moment, before finally reaching out and shaking it firmly. "Good game," she said, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Despite her earlier frustration, it felt good to make peace.

"Next time, I'll show you," she added with a playful, competitive glint in her eyes. She gave Sooyoung a nod of respect before turning to Vextra. "You two aren't so bad, you know?"

Asa watched the interaction between Yoru, Sooyoung, and Vextra, feeling a sense of relief that the tension had lifted. She sat down on the bench next to them, feeling the weight of the day's events finally start to settle.

"That was... interesting," Asa said quietly, looking at Yoru and Sooyoung. "But, I'm glad you two worked things out." She gave a small smile, glad to see them getting along a bit more.

Yoru, now calmer, gave a slight nod in Asa's direction, not used to expressing appreciation but feeling it nonetheless. "Yeah... I guess that was fun," she muttered, still a little prideful, but accepting that sometimes, winning wasn't everything.

Sooyoung smiled at both of them, sitting back to relax. "Well, the important thing is we all had fun. Now, let's just enjoy the rest of the day," she said, resting her arms behind her head.

Vextra sighed but relaxed as well, letting herself enjoy the peaceful moment. "Yeah, sure. Whatever," she said, not completely enthusiastic but content.

Asa laughed softly at Vextra's dramatic reaction, feeling a bit of relief herself that the day was coming to an end. "Yeah, but we made it through today, right?" she said, her voice light with a touch of humor. "Tomorrow's just another day. We can get through it."

She glanced at Yoru, silently offering a sense of solidarity. "At least we're together for it. That makes it a little easier." She gave a small smile, feeling a sense of calm now that the tension had cleared up.

Asa followed Sooyoung, feeling a bit more at ease now. "Yeah, having each other makes it easier," she said softly. She glanced at Yoru, feeling a little more connected with everyone. "I guess it's not so bad, huh?" She smiled faintly, walking beside Sooyoung and Vextra as they headed out.

Asa saw Sooyoung and smiled, noticing the seat saved for her. She walked over and sat down next to Sooyoung, glancing at Yoru as well. "Thanks for saving me a seat," Asa said softly. "It's nice to have a place where we can all sit together." She settled into her seat, feeling a little more relaxed now that the day was winding down. Yoru sat down next to Asa, crossing their arms and looking out the window with a small sigh. "Well, at least today wasn’t as bad as I thought," they muttered, still a bit grumpy but clearly less upset than before. "Could’ve gone worse."

Asa gave them a reassuring smile, "It’s okay, Yoru. We’re all together, right?"

Yoru gave a small nod, still not fully at ease, but appreciative of the quiet moment with the group. The bus ride home felt more peaceful than expected.

Description: A short and lanky teen girl of African American and Chinese descent. She has warm brown skin, dark brown eyes, and short dark blue hair styled into a bob. Her cheeks are covered in freckles.
Backstory: A delinquent as a magical girl?!? Whose bright idea was that?

Bee was born in the States as the youngest out of the two children. As a child, she was known to be a crybaby and was bullied throughout elementary and middle school for it.

Wanting respect from her peers, Bee joined a group of delinquents in her freshman year. She was eventually feared by her peers but in turn, it strained her relationship with her parents and older sister.

Near the beginning of her senior year, her family had moved due to her father's work as an accountant in a large tech company. Bee disliked the move, since she would lose all of her hard work and have to start over. Storming out of the family's new house, Bee finds a injured creature in the rain and takes it home to patch it.

The creature turned out to be a magical pixie and granted Bee with magical abilities of a magical girl. However, she doesn't want to be a magical girl.

Asa glanced between the two, sensing the tension. "Dangerous? What do you mean?" she asked, her curiosity piqued but her tone gentle.

Yoru, arms still crossed, scoffed. "Tch. If it’s dangerous, why stay there?"

Asa nudged Yoru slightly before looking back at Sooyoung. "You don’t have to tell us if you don’t want to. But… if it’s that bad, maybe you should find somewhere safer?" She offered, concern in her voice.

Asa hesitated for a moment before speaking. “You… you could stay at my place,” she offered, glancing at Sooyoung and Vextra. “It’s not huge, but there’s space, and it’s safe.”

Yoru raised an eyebrow. “You sure about that? You barely tolerate people.”

Asa sighed but nodded. “Yeah, well… you guys need somewhere better, right?” She looked at Sooyoung. “It’s not forever, just until you figure something out.”

Asa gave a small, shy smile and nodded. “Yeah… don’t mention it,” she said, looking out the window. She wasn’t used to having people around so much, but it felt… nice, in a way.

Yoru huffed, crossing her arms. “Just don’t make a mess. And if you snore, I’m throwing you out.”

Asa sighed. “Ignore her.” Asa chuckled softly. "Just a heads-up, though… I have a cat,” she said.

Asa smiled at their reactions. “I think you guys will like him. He’s really soft and kinda lazy, but he loves attention.”

Yoru huffed. “Tch. If that thing tries anything, I’m not holding back.”

Asa rolled her eyes. “It’s a cat, Yoru. What’s he gonna do? Challenge you to a duel?”

Asa smiled at Vextra’s excitement. “Well, you’ll definitely get along with him then. He loves being spoiled.”

A blue frilly blurb dashed into the alley. "Dang dang diggity dang!" She was running late for her curfew. Why can't Honey reserve time instead of fast forwarding it?

Bee had Honey, a tiny magical bunny creature, in the tight grip of her hand. "Easy! You're hurting mew," Honey pleaded with no results. A large flash appeared in the alleyway with Bee now in her normal clothes; a yellow hoodie and her old school uniform with spray paint spots on her long, plaid skirt.

Asa calmly stepped off the bus while Yoru, true to her nature, leaped off dramatically, landing in a crouch like she had just finished a battle. “Finally! Freedom!” she declared, standing up with a smug grin.

Asa sighed, shaking her head. “You’re so extra.”
