Asa hesitated before sitting down next to Sooyoung, keeping her gaze fixed on the floor.

She gripped her hands together, exhaling shakily. “…Guess I’m not the only one,” she muttered under her breath.

Yoru scoffed in her mind. “You should be thanking me. At least now you’re not alone in trouble.”

Asa clenched her jaw. “Shut up.”

She stole a quick glance at Sooyoung before sighing and leaning back in the chair, dreading whatever punishment was coming next.

Asa listened quietly, her fingers gripping the fabric of her skirt. She knew the feeling all too well.

“…Yeah,” she admitted. “Yoru took over and nearly stabbed the teacher.” She exhaled sharply, shaking her head. “I didn’t even realize what was happening until it was too late.”

Yoru scoffed. “You make it sound like a bad thing.”

Asa ignored her, glancing at Sooyoung. “Getting expelled… I don’t know if that’ll happen, but…” She hesitated, lowering her voice. “I don’t want to be here either.”

She leaned back in her seat, staring at the floor. “It’s exhausting… always having to clean up someone else’s mess.”

Asa let out a small sigh, rubbing her temples. “I know exactly what you mean…” she muttered.

"See? I'm not the only one who thinks this way," Yoru chimed in smugly.

Asa scowled. "You're literally the problem."

"Oh, please. I act in our best interest. You just refuse to see it."

She rolled her eyes and glanced at Sooyoung. “Yoru’s the same way. Stubborn, reckless… and she doesn’t care about the consequences I have to deal with.”

"That’s because you’re too afraid to take advantage of the power you have," Yoru sneered.

Asa clenched her fists, muttering under her breath, “I swear, one day she’s going to ruin everything…”

Asa let out a small chuckle, shaking her head. “I think Yoru and Vextra would be great friends.”

"Excuse me?" Yoru scoffed. "I don’t make friends. Especially not with some reckless dragon spirit."

Asa smirked slightly. “See? That’s exactly why they’d get along.”

She glanced at Sooyoung. “At least we’re not alone in dealing with them.”

Asa's body tensed as Yoru took over, her red eyes narrowing as she smirked. Her posture straightened, exuding confidence as she crossed her arms.

"Oh? So you can see me," Yoru said, tilting her head slightly. "Guess you're not completely useless."

She eyed Vextra up and down before scoffing. "Well? Satisfied?"

Yoru sighed, leaning back slightly. "Yeah, I get it. Sharing a body isn’t exactly ideal."

She glanced at Asa’s reflection in a nearby window before looking back at Vextra. "It’s not all bad, though. Sometimes it’s useful—having a human perspective, blending in." She shrugged. "Annoying at times, but not boring."

Yoru nodded, her expression shifting to one of understanding. "Yeah, I get where you're coming from."

She glanced at Vextra thoughtfully. "If they’re as dangerous as you say, hiding isn’t going to work forever. So maybe... talking to Sooyoung more, being open with her, that’s the better option. She deserves to know, especially with everything at stake."

She gave a small shrug, her tone more reassuring. "I get not being great at expressing feelings, but sometimes it’s worth it to try. You don't have to do it all at once, but start somewhere."

Asa’s expression shifted slightly, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Yoru. "You know," she said softly, "I think you owe me an apology."

Yoru raised an eyebrow, looking at her with a hint of amusement. "For what?" she replied, crossing her arms. "I didn’t do anything."

Asa frowned, her voice a little more firm now. "You’ve been… difficult. Controlling, rude, and you’ve made this harder than it needs to be."

Yoru shrugged, unfazed. "Eh, I’m not in the business of apologizing. Deal with it."Asa’s eyes narrowed, her grip tightening at her sides as her frustration grew. "Are you serious?" she snapped, her voice sharp. "You can’t even say sorry for being a jerk? Just once, it wouldn’t kill you!"

Yoru rolled her eyes, leaning back slightly. "Calm down. You’re making a big deal out of nothing."

Asa’s anger flared, her voice rising. "It’s not nothing! You’ve been taking control without care, making everything harder for me. And I’ve had enough!"

Yoru sighed, clearly unbothered. "If you’re done whining, I’ll be here. But don’t expect an apology."

Asa stood still for a moment, her anger still simmering, but the footsteps snapped her back to reality. She glanced at Yoru, her expression softening slightly as the moment of tension lingered.

"Don’t ignore it, Yoru," Asa muttered, her voice lower now. "It’s about respect. You can’t just push everyone around all the time."

Yoru huffed, glancing at Asa and then at the approaching footsteps. "Fine," she said, but her tone was grudging. "I’ll think about it."

The footsteps grew louder, and Yoru’s attention shifted, her eyes narrowing as she turned toward the direction of the noise. "We’ll finish this later," she muttered under her breath.

Asa straightened up, her eyes meeting the principal’s with a mix of defiance and frustration. She crossed her arms, but her tone was steady. "Yeah, got it. I’ll keep it in mind."

Her gaze flickered briefly to Yoru, then back to the principal. "No more trouble, I promise."

Though her voice was calm, there was an underlying tension in the air, as if the warning didn’t sit well with her.

Asa let out a quiet sigh, running a hand through her hair. "I don't know how much longer I can keep this up," she muttered to Yoru, her tone a little more serious. "I’m trying to play it safe, but something always comes up."

Yoru gave her a knowing look, her voice soft. "You’re not alone in this, Asa. We’ll make it through... but, yeah, let’s try to keep things low-key."

Asa took a deep breath, focusing on Sooyoung and the situation at hand. "What I’m trying to keep safe... is everyone around me. Yoru and I—we're tied together now, and while I’m grateful for being brought back, this power... it’s not something I can always control. The reason I’ve been holding back is because I don’t want to hurt anyone. I don’t even know if I can stop it from happening."

Yoru’s voice, cold and slightly amused, echoed in the back of Asa’s mind. "As if you could truly control it. You can’t hold it back forever, you know. You’ll see... soon enough."

Asa winced, but continued speaking. "I didn’t want to bring anyone else into this mess, but it’s clear I can’t do it alone. Yoru’s power, my power, it’s too much for just one person to handle. I need to learn to control it, but I’m not sure how... I don’t even understand it fully. That’s why I’ve been so careful. Trying to keep everything from spiraling out of control."

She looked at Sooyoung, meeting her eyes. "I never imagined this would be something I’d have to share with others. But... if you all want to help, I can’t deny it. Maybe we can figure this out together, even if we don’t always get along. But we need to understand what Yoru and I are dealing with, and how I can... stabilize everything before it gets worse."

Yoru’s voice echoed again, this time more mockingly, "Oh, Asa, your little 'stability' plan is adorable. But we both know the truth. The power is already unstoppable."

Asa gripped the edge of her sleeve, trying to ignore Yoru’s mocking tone, but deep down, she knew that what she feared most could very well become a reality.

Asa shifted on her feet, looking down for a moment as she processed Sooyoung’s offer. “I’ve always been curious about why I have this power, especially since I didn’t ask for it. There’s so much I don’t understand about it, and about myself. If the library has something on it, I’d be open to checking it out.” She glanced at Sooyoung with a soft smile. “I really appreciate the help.”

Yoru, standing close to Asa, spoke up with a calm tone. “Knowledge is power, after all. The more we know, the better we’ll be at controlling what’s inside you. If we dig into this, it could give us both some answers.” Yoru’s gaze softened, but only slightly. “We’re in this together, Asa. No matter what we find.”

Asa walked into the library, her footsteps echoing in the quiet space. Her eyes darted around, taking in the shelves filled with books and the eerie silence that filled the air. "Well, it’s certainly quiet in here," she muttered under her breath, glancing around as if unsure of what to expect.

Yoru’s voice echoed in her mind, calm and collected. “It’s not that bad. Libraries tend to be peaceful. Don’t let the silence make you nervous.”

Asa took a hesitant step forward, her eyes scanning the endless rows of bookshelves. She was too focused on the dim lighting and eerie atmosphere to notice how close she was to one of the shelves.

With a loud thud, she bumped straight into it, causing a few books to wobble dangerously before settling back into place. Asa stumbled back, rubbing her forehead with a small wince.

Yoru, of course, didn’t let the moment pass. She burst out laughing in Asa’s mind, her amusement echoing loud and clear. "Pfft—Smooth, really. Maybe you should turn yourself into a 'Balance Sword' next time, since walking is apparently too hard for you."

Asa groaned, her face heating up. "Shut up, Yoru," she muttered under her breath, glancing around to make sure no one saw her embarrassing moment.

Asa sighed, still rubbing her forehead as she shot a glare at nothing in particular—mostly at Yoru. She muttered under her breath but ultimately let it go.

She straightened up and walked over to Sooyoung, her curiosity outweighing her lingering frustration. “What did you find?” she asked, peering over her shoulder at the book.

Asa took the letter from Sooyoung and studied it, squinting at the strange script. Her eyes shifted to Yoru, a hint of frustration creeping in. "I can't read it," she muttered, handing it over to Yoru.

Yoru smirked, her eyes glowing as she examined the text. "Lucky for you, I can read it," she said with a slightly smug tone. "This letter is old... and from someone important, apparently."

She began translating, her voice a little more serious now. "It mentions a prophecy. Something about ‘a great power that could either destroy or save everything, depending on the bearer’s choices.’"

Asa felt a chill run down her spine. "That... doesn’t sound good."

Yoru glanced up from the letter, her expression thoughtful. "It doesn’t mention a specific person, but it’s clear the prophecy is linked to a powerful force—something tied to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." She paused for a moment, as if pondering her next words carefully. "It says the power could either bring about an end to everything, or reset the world in a new form. It all depends on who controls it."

Her eyes gleamed with curiosity, "The Four Horsemen are not just symbolic, you know. They’re real. Each represents something far worse than most can imagine. Control, War, Famine, and Death. And whoever holds that power... could change the balance between them forever." Yoru was the war devil so she was one of the four horsemen

Yoru tapped her chin thoughtfully, considering the question. "It’s possible, but not common," she replied, her voice dripping with intrigue. "The Horsemen’s powers are usually bound to one individual, to create a force so immense, they can rewrite the very laws of existence. But if their powers were divided among different people..." Yoru’s eyes gleamed with an unsettling amusement. "It would be an interesting chaos, wouldn’t it? Each one of them acting as a fragment of something far greater. It’d be a challenge to control... But I suppose that’s the fun in it, isn’t it?"

Yoru smirked at Sooyoung's comment. "Oh, absolutely. Watching chaos unfold, especially something so powerful and unpredictable, is my kind of entertainment." She leaned back, her eyes gleaming. "But I wouldn't want to get involved. The risk of losing control would be... entertaining for a time, but I'd rather watch from a safe distance."
