" I am told I have a lot of energy. By a lot of people actually " She said " As for my tattoos, yea i really defeated 60 Titans. It hurts getting these tattoos though. After every fight, It appears magically and it stings. It feels like my arm is burning and I end up in pain but I usually put Ice on it then bandage it up until the next day " She explained. She smiled when she heard Hange said they will put in a good word " Thank you Hange " she said. She nodded " I am sure it will but I am not one to complain so " She said. smiling and looking around " And ill manage okay "

" For my own work, I can always add some personal projects of yours to my list. I am always available to help " She said " so you can be sure to count me in " She told Hange " Always here to help whenever I can "

" As for being Loyal, I think being Loyal to your job and career is important. Especially if it means something. And especially when you are helping villagers too. The whole reason I become a Survey Corps member was because...My parents were killed by Titans. I vowed to get Justice. And I will not stop until I succeed " She said " So my loyalities definitely stand here. The Survey Corps " She explained

" And if i make him smile a little, I feel like I did a good thing. Someone needs to smile once in a while right? Even if it's a fake smile " She told Hange. She continued to follow Hange down the hall to where Levi is

Hange’s tone was both playful and full of admiration. "But... I really hope you’re taking care of yourself. Don’t push too hard, alright? Pain like that can add up."

Hange chuckled lightly when Liora mentioned adding personal projects to her list. "I like the sound of that. Having someone willing to help out is always a blessing. You’ll fit in here just fine. We’re all in this together."

When Liora talked about her loyalty to the Survey Corps, Hange nodded in agreement, their expression turning more serious. "That’s exactly what we need. A cause to fight for, and a reason to keep going. Your strength and resolve are admirable. I can tell you’re not the kind of person to back down, and that’s exactly what we need to keep pushing forward." They placed a hand on Liora's shoulder, giving her a reassuring squeeze.

As they continued walking down the hallway toward Levi’s office, Hange couldn’t help but laugh at Liora’s comment about making Levi smile. "I’m sure you’ll find a way to crack that tough exterior of his. But don’t let it get you down if it doesn’t happen right away. Levi’s a little... well, difficult when it comes to emotions. But hey, maybe you’ll be the one to finally get him to smile for real."

They reached the door to Levi’s office and knocked lightly. "Levi, you in there?" Hange called out, a bit of their usual energy returning. "We’ve got someone here who’s eager to join the Survey Corps!"

There was a pause before Levi’s voice responded from inside. "Come in," he said flatly, his tone calm but sharp.

Hange opened the door, stepping inside with Liora. "Levi! I’d like you to meet Liora Falken. She’s got quite the resume—60 Titans under her belt—and she’s eager to join the Survey Corps. I think she’ll be a great fit."

Levi didn’t look up from his desk, his expression unreadable. He gave a small nod as he glanced briefly at Liora, his sharp eyes sizing her up. "Is that so?" His voice was neutral, but there was a hint of something almost... curious.

Hange stepped back, letting Liora take the spotlight. "You’re up, Liora. Show him what you’re made of."

Levi’s eyes stayed focused on Liora, waiting for her to speak. The room was tense, but there was a strange sense of anticipation in the air. Would Liora be able to convince the legendary Captain of the Survey Corps to see her potential?

she chuckled " Of course I am. What kind of fool doesn't take care of themself " She said

" I have always been alone. But I love having friends on my side. People who can trust you know? I know I can trust everyone here. At least I am sure I can " She said Hange " I know when someone may betray me "

she nodded " Like I always say 'If I am going to die, Imma die for the right reason' " She told Hange " I know then when i fight, I am saving a lot of Lives. I never want anyone to end up like me. With no family. No place to call home " She said " This is my way of showing Justice " She said

" That's okay if it takes time. Time isn't such a bad thing. And I am sure he has reasons on not showing his emotions like that. But either way I'd be happy if he smiles " he said " So like i said, not complaining " She smiled a little

She stood there as Hange knocked on the door. She looked around at the photos on the walls

When she heard a voice say come in, She followed Hange into the room. She closed the door behind them then turned her attention back at the two. She looked between the 2 as they talked about her. She smiled a little bit and looked at the ground as Hange mentioned her killing 60 titans and that she will fit right in

she looked back up and shook her head, her attention back on the two. She could tell that Levi was a little curious about her

She nodded at Hange then stepped up a little. Her tattoo was showing on her shoulder " Hello " She bowed a little, showing respect " I am Liora Falken and I came from Yarckel District. I used to be in the Survey Corps over there. I am sure you heard of them. I was co-captain until i was replaced after i moved to here. On my way here, I managed to kill 60 Titans with just my sword in hand " She told him

Hange watched the interaction with an amused glint in their eyes, rocking back on their heels as Liora introduced herself. They shot a quick glance at Levi, waiting for his reaction.

Levi leaned back in his chair, arms crossed as he studied Liora in silence for a moment. His sharp, calculating eyes flickered over her tattooed shoulder, then back up to her face. He didn’t look impressed, nor did he look doubtful. His expression was unreadable as usual.

"Sixty Titans, huh?" he finally said, his voice quiet but firm. "That’s a big claim. And you took them all down with just a sword?" His gaze hardened. "No ODM gear?"

Hange whistled, clearly enjoying the moment. "Ooooh, Levi, are you doubting her already?" They grinned. "I mean, it is impressive. You know how rare it is for someone to take out that many Titans alone. With or without ODM gear."

Levi shot Hange a look before returning his attention to Liora. "I don’t care about impressive. I care about results," he stated flatly. "You say you were co-captain. You say you killed sixty Titans. That’s all fine and good. But what I want to know is... can you follow orders?"

She looked between Hange and Levi. She gulped as she noticed Levi's unreadable reaction and looking at her tattoo, she was like " Is he like doubting me? " in her head. She was nervous to see whether or not she could make the cut. Then Levi said something, and she looked back at him quickly " Yes. I did it without ODM gear. And yes i did it with only this sword in my hand. It was hard but I did do it. Thus the 60th tattoo on me " She mentioned

She shots looks between Levi and Hange again. She watched as the two talked about it. She looked back at Levi and thought " wow. he is hard-headed " She gulped as Levi then said something else. She thought then nodded at his question " Of course I can follow orders. In order to be a great Survey Corps member, you need to know where your loyalties stand and focus on the problem at hand. You must give it your all without a doubt. And you must follow orders " She said

She Sighed " So yes, I can follow orders Sir " She said, being polite " And i know where my Loyalties stand. I vowed to be loyal and respectful and treat everyone here as family and my peers " she said

Hange grinned at Levi. "Ohoho, she’s polite and knows how to talk big. You sure you don’t like her already, Levi?" they teased, nudging his arm.

Levi barely reacted, only blinking once before letting out a small breath through his nose. His sharp gaze remained fixed on Liora. "Tch. Words are easy," he muttered. "We’ll see if your actions match."

Hange clapped their hands together. "Alright, alright! That means you’re giving her a chance, right? Right?" They wiggled their eyebrows at Levi.

Levi sighed. "She can train with the new recruits," he said flatly. "We’ll see how well she actually follows orders." His eyes flickered back to Liora. "If you want to be part of this unit, you’ll prove it with more than just fancy words and a tattoo."

Hange snickered. "Ohhh, a test already? You work fast, Captain." They turned to Liora, grinning. "Looks like you’re in for some fun. Hope you’re ready to impress."

Levi stood up, adjusting his cravat. "Report to training grounds at dawn. No excuses." He shot Liora one last look before turning away. "If you mess up, I won’t waste my time with you."

Hange leaned over to Liora with a playful smirk. "He’s so warm and welcoming, isn’t he?" They chuckled. "Well, congrats! You’ve got your shot. Just don’t die on your first day, yeah?"

She looked at Levi. Her face expression and look was more fixated on him now more than Hange. She listened as the two talked and talked about her. She crossed her arms as she still looked at him. She then nodded at his words " I know I can prove I am Reliable " She said

She smiled when Levi said that she can train with new recruits. That means she can show them what she has got to offer. Maybe even impress the big shot as well " I am ready. More than ever " She said " I got it Sir " She nodded, arms behind her back

She looked back at him before he left then looked at Hange " Yeaaaa.... " She kept watching him walk away " So welcoming...." She said, still watching Levi walking away down the hall

As Hange and Levi walked down the hall side by side, Hange grinned mischievously at the silent, brooding Captain. "You know, Levi, it’s almost adorable how grumpy you get when someone actually impresses you. You might want to smile more, y'know, keep up appearances. It’s a good look on you."

Levi shot Hange a side glance, not breaking his stride. "You talk too much. I’ve already told you that."

Hange chuckled, unfazed by his curt responses. "Oh, c’mon! Don’t act like you don’t appreciate me bringing someone capable in. That Liora, she’s got potential. And she’s got that fire, you can see it, can’t you?"

Levi’s expression didn’t shift, though his eyes narrowed slightly. "We’ll see if she can handle the pressure. Talk is cheap."

"Always the skeptic," Hange sighed dramatically, crossing their arms. "But you’re right. She has to prove herself. Don’t worry, I won’t let her slack off. Besides, you know we need all the capable recruits we can get, especially if more titans are on the move."

While Hange and Levi are walking, She was walking in the back of them. She looks up and looks at all the photos. She saw one in particular and stops for a moment. She stood there, taking in the view of the photo " Hmmmmm " She kept looking at it. She looked closely and noticed something. A guy in the photo was...her dad?

She ran up to the two and looked at them " Sorry to interupt but I have a question for Levi " She said and looked at him

" I am curious about something. That photo over there, on the right, Who is that guy? " She asked Him. She was curious to see what he said

Levi glanced over his shoulder at Liora, then followed her gaze to the photo she was referring to. His expression remained neutral, though his eyes flickered momentarily with recognition. He stopped walking and turned slightly to look at the photo as well, before returning his gaze to Liora.

"That?" Levi said, his tone flat. "That’s a photo of one of our former comrades. He was part of the Survey Corps, we aren't sure of his current whereabouts though.

She looked back at the photo. Her eyes were so fixated on that photo that it brought her to tears as she ran her fingers a long the photo. She then stopped at whipped her tears away and started walking again " Sorry " She stiffened her shoulders, putting on a tough act though

She soon got to where the new recruits were training. She walked in and felt eyes staring at her. She took a seat somewhere, as she was preparing to train with everything she has got. She fixed her hair and tied her vest around herself. She grabbed her sword. She waited for someone to fight

"Alright, you’re not gonna want to sit too long," Hange said, approaching with a grin. "The recruits are a little nervous, but I’m sure they’re dying to see what you can do. You’ve got some eyes on you, Liora, so go show them what you’ve got!"

They chuckled lightly and gave her a nod of encouragement. "Don’t worry about the pressure. Just focus on the training. This is your moment to shine."

The recruits were still watching, some with awe and others with apprehension. They were aware of Liora’s reputation, and though they may have been intimidated, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and competition. The air was thick with tension as the training session began, but all eyes were on Liora, curious to see how she would handle the training challenges ahead.

She looked at Hange and nodded " Got it " she stretched as she looked at everyone that was looking at her. She was nervous but she kept a focus look. She stopped stretching and look around " Alright. Who would like to go first? " She asked around, to see if anyone would want to go

She kept looking around, waiting for hands " Anyone? It's okay to be nervous. trust me i am too. I am sure you guys are also talented as well " She said

A young recruit, a bit taller than most of the others, stepped forward. He hesitated for a moment, his hands gripping the hilt of his sword tightly, but the thought of being in front of someone as experienced as Liora pushed him to act. His face was a mix of nervousness and determination.

"I-I’ll go," he said, his voice shaky but resolute.

The recruit took his stance, his eyes locking onto Liora’s. He tried to look confident, though there was an undeniable tremor in his hands as he held the sword in front of him. His posture was a little stiff, clearly feeling the pressure.

Liora noticed the kids hands shaking. She looked at the kid " What's your name kid? " She asked looking at them. She patted his shoulder " It's okay feel nervous like this. When i started out, I was like you. " She said " Just take a few breaths. You got this. Focus alright? " She said. She backed up a little and got into a defense position " Ready when you are " She said

She soon came at the kid and attacked them with force, every step brushing off with wind. Her skills were so smooth and precise, Made it harder for her to mess up. After years of learning these techniques, She managed to get them down at the age 12.

She then Hit the kid from behind, using great force but trying not to hurt them in the process, Just trying to boost up their confidence more as well as their ability to be able to fight in the first place among the Survey Corps

Hange watched closely, their eyes sparkling with excitement as they saw Liora’s movements. "Wow, she’s so precise! It’s like she’s been fighting Titans her whole life! That kid’s going to be stronger after this, no doubt," they said, practically bouncing on their feet.

Levi stood with his arms crossed, his expression unchanged as he observed the training. He gave a faint sigh and rolled his eyes. "Not bad, I guess. But she’s not here to babysit," he muttered, clearly uninterested in the details. "They either get better or they don’t. Doesn’t matter to me."

He glanced at Hange briefly, raising an eyebrow. "You’re getting excited over this? I’m sure the kid will figure it out eventually."

His tone was blunt, not showing much concern as he continued watching with an air of indifference. "The real challenge will come later."

She stopped and raised her sword. She looked at the others then back at Levi and smiled a little then looked back at the others " You guys seem so young. Younger than me. " She said " The sword i have can handle every move i make. I make more swift precise moves so this sword works perfectly for me based on my moves and ability. When choosing a weapon. Don't choose just because you like it. Choose one that fits best with the types of moves you make. It can be any types of guns or swords. " She said

She looked over at Hange then back at Levi again. She seemed to like even if he just is some hard-headed Captain. She looked back at the others " I may be a new recruit like you all, but i been in the corps before you guys. I been there already. I know what it's like. Don't disobey Mr. Captain over there. Follow orders. Know where your loyalties lie. I'm sure Mr. Captain over there won't hesitate to disband you from the corps if he thinks you dont have what it takes. " she said. She stepped back and chuckled " Now, who is next? "

Levi’s eyes narrowed at the mention of "Mr. Captain." He glared at Liora, but his tone remained indifferent. “Don’t call me that. I’m not your damn ‘Mr. Captain,’” he muttered, his voice sharp, but he didn’t seem overly bothered—more annoyed by the casualness of the remark than anything else.

Hange, on the other hand, couldn’t help but chuckle at Levi’s reaction. "Looks like you hit a nerve there, Liora!" they said, laughing a little too loudly. "But honestly, he’s probably used to it. You’re right though. They all need to learn how to be serious and follow orders if they want to survive. Good advice."

Hange’s smile was wide, clearly amused by the whole exchange, while Levi just crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, unaffected by the attention but still slightly annoyed. "I don’t care what they call me. Just make sure they can fight," he muttered under his breath, watching the recruits with a detached expression.

She looked over at Levi and chuckled a little. She smiled " But you are the Captain though right? " She said " Therefore, You are Mr. Captain " She crossed her arms and looked more fixated on him " Levi " She smiled. She could tell that he seemed annoyed by the casualness of it " Oh and there is no need for the seriousness all the time " She whispered to Levi as she walked past him " Levi " She said, smiling then looked at Hange

She laughed and chuckled " Oh I know. I could tell by the way he looked at me. So serious that man, huh? " She said. She looked at Levi " and I'm sure he is by now. And of course I'm right. To be in the corps, they must listen to their captain and respect them. listen to orders. They can't slack " She said " If they do, they can get thrown off the Survey Corps. It's not a playground. It's actual work " She said

Liora looked at Hange " Besides 'Mr. Captain' is just a nickname i came up for him. Instead of calling him sir " She said

Hange snickered at Liora’s teasing, clearly enjoying the playful dynamic between her and Levi. "Oh, I love it when you two go at it! It's so fun to watch!" Hange said with a grin. "But yeah, you're right. It’s not a playground. The Survey Corps is serious business. People’s lives are at stake. You’ve got the right mindset, Liora. I’m glad you’re on our side."

They gave a brief, knowing look at Levi, clearly enjoying poking fun at him. "Levi here may be all 'Mr. Captain' on the outside, but deep down, he’s just as committed as anyone else," Hange continued with a wink. "He just likes to keep it all business. But if you keep making him blush with your little nicknames, who knows? Maybe we’ll get him to crack a smile."

Levi shot a glare at Hange, unamused, but they were clearly enjoying this far more than he did. "I’m not 'blushing,' and don’t get any ideas," Levi muttered, though it was clear he wasn’t as irritated as before.
