A few months has passed since Leo has had the since of true freedom. He had given that witch the slip about five months ago, these last five months have been nothing but normal-ish. Peaceful. Free. Yes,he still avoided people like they had some sort of plague. Of course spending his afternoons reading in a nice quiet never did bother Leo one bit. Although,today he figured that he could go for something new, people did claim that change could be good. So,here he was,walking in the city,looking at different places and stores.

Everything was perfectly fine until something caught his attention. There were people chattering about a new serial killer. He heaved an irritated sigh, didn't the human race realize doing things like this only encouraged the murderer? They were the type of people that enjoyed the propaganda, it made Leo sick and a lot amused. His pale eyes narrowed, perhaps this wasn't the best idea.

A young woman wondered not to far from the crowd,a smile that was eerily beautiful crept up onto her pale face. This was working out beautifully, oh she could feel the pride bubbling inside of her. She couldn't get her hopes up yet, this was only one step of her plan. To help her sister, her new dark entity friend and get that brat Leo back. He knew what to do, that;s all that mattered at the moment.

Gossip, texting, and chit-chat amongst friends, the top three things of the week it seemed. Teenagers, adults, and even old elderys made conversation about mysterious murders that have been happening around lately. Or at least a new killer, one that wasent behind the cold bars of prison. Some of the overly religious people claimed "they're going straight to hell if they're found" or "they belong behind bars, they're a disgrace to God!" ,but people just shrugged it off, being sure to keep it the hot topic.

Deep within a crowd a boy in his mid- teens stood near a women, a rather beautiful women. The boy looked around 13-15 years in age, not to young, not to old teenager wise, just right in between. It felt odd t be part of the true physical world, but he was slowly getting used to it. He could pass as seeming like a false son to the women he stood beside in the crowd, as he looked around with golden eyes, his ears paying attention to the commotion. Humans, they were so.....clueless.

Yume cocked her head,her pale green eyes were tightly shut. Why have your eyes open when all you could see was darkness, nothingness. She had seen enough of her empty world, now Yume preferred listening. Like now, hearing the humans make conversations about the murders made her a bit amused. Still,she hide that amusement with a gentle smile. No one would suspect a child and a blind woman. Yume felt around for the teen, Vladimir, she hoped he hadn't wandered off into the crowd already.

"..Vladimir.."She spoke softly,as if she was afraid of someone hearing her,"Keep in mind of what you need to do."

With a small sigh she had found the boy,and placed a hand on one of his shoulders. How she knew it was him was by sense, dark entities, even when they have possessed someone give off a certain type of energy. A type of energy that no one,not even Leo could sense. Yume gave his shoulder a small squeeze as if she were silently saying 'go'. Then,she let go of his shoulder and took a few steps back with a soft,but clear,"Good luck."

Vladimir had the advantage of being able to see, and being able to hear, so he got double the advantage of this amusing entertainment. He managed to hide his slight smile for the most part, but it was still just faintly there. He noticed out of the corner of his eye that Yume, his ruler. To him she may be like a Goddess or something, as searching for him. He looked at Yume face when she said his name, then looked back to the crowd. "I havent forgotten.." he said feeling her hand take hold of his shoulder. Feeling the light squeeze, he took the hint. He was just about to begin anyway. Just faintly, loud enough for her, but nobody else t hear, he said one thing. "I won't disappoint you" he promised, and headed off into the crowd.

Yume tilted her head a bit as he walked off. The boy knew what he was doing, and that meant it was time for her to leave. Of course, she would be coming back to check on things, on Vladimir. But for the mean time she was leaving, and no one would remember the young woman standing there with the boy. That's how she wanted it to be. So, with a soft muttering under her breathe,Yume was gone.

Leo bit his bottom lip, murder, he scoffed mentally. Why did people have to pay attention to things like this? Even if he didn't have that answer he wasn't going to allow himself to get wrapped up in this situation, not when this wasn't his problem. There was no way all these murders could affect him so why bother? With that thought he turned his back on the crowd, having the full intention of walking off. Leo looked down, even though he didn't want to be involved he didn't move. He stood there, studying his slightly scuffed up boots.
"..this is beyond annoying."Leo muttered.

Vladimir made his way through the chattering crowd, seeking his target like a carnivor after is prey. He spotted his target starting to leave the crowd as if he had no intention of staying and listening to the gossip. Vlad put his hands in his pockets and followed Leo, appearing like a typical teen. "indeed it is" he agreed, walking behind Leo. ..

Leo stopped, he had heard someone behind him but he had thought he could hear someone behind him. He had figured that the person was simply passing by..but that idea had been shattered when he stopped. Leo slowly turned around to see the boy, he was younger than him, and nothing seemed off about him. He tilted his head a bit,before adjusting his glasses a bit. "..right, and you felt inclined to agree with me why?"He asked the boy.

The boy stopped when he had. The boy appeared around the same age as Leo, and seemed like just another teenage city person. "because your the only person so far to express my thoughts. Your thinking the same as me. That all this junk about a murder is beyond annoying. " Vladimir explained looking at Leo with his golden colored eyes. A small smile appeared on his face and he slightly jerked his head to the side to get some bangs out of his eyes.

An audible click with his tongue, no stranger would go up to someone, claiming they had the same thoughts. Well, not unless they wanted something. A form of manipulation, a foul way to earn someone's trust. Even if it wasn't that he may still wanted something, right? Of course, that was just Leo's morbid opinions on other people,"...Who's to say that is what I was talking about?"He countered with a sigh. He crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for an answer.

Vlads smile faded, "just a wild guess" he said then shrugged. "It was just that your the first person who hasn't talked like: "have you heard about that murder?" Or "I wonder who" and "they'll go to hell" and all that" Vlad pointed out the obvious that Leo could not deny.

He sucked in a lot of air, that was something he couldn't deny. This boy had gotten him. Leo shifted his weight from one leg to the other, what could he say to that. An idea did pop into his mind, that's when he looked at the boy,"Perhaps, but I could have been talking about their claims of the murderer burning in hell. Or anything like that."He said, taking a step towards the boy,"Why would you really care what I think anyways?"Leo asked him.

"Exactly" wax the only word Vladimir said to the first part. In the end, that linked to what he had said. Vlad tilted his head, "scientists care what other scientists think, why sent I care what another fellow citizen thinks?" He asked.

Leo looked at the boy with an icy stare, was he being serious. There was nothing about him that said other wise. However, he didn't quite trust him as quickly as anyone else would. Many people would call it paranoia, Leo called it learning how to live in a world of invisible beings. "..I do see your point.."He started off hesitantly, but continued."Even so, they have differing opinions. That's just human nature." Leo said,crossing his arms. Funny that he was saying that,he was the furtherest thing from a human being.

One had to admit this boy did have good points. Even Leo could not deny it seemed. Vlad looked around at the people walking all around them, "every human has their own thoughts, but sometimes we think alike" he said, ironic how he was saying this. "That's why there's a word called co-opperation"

Leo sighed, damn the kids wisdom, but he was right. He knew that much. "...uhhh."But the one thing he didn't know at the moment was what to say to the boy. "..Damn, it takes me a bit to for me to say this to anyone, you're a wise kid."Leo finally said.

The boy chuckled, "thanks I suppose. Nobodies ever called me wise before" he said. "Your not bad for being 'wise' yourself" the boy complimented him with a slight nod.

Leo gave into a faint, strained smile. "You're welcome."He replied softly, as usual. He tilted his head at the boy saying Leo was fairly wise himself. Although he knew being wise at his age was a good and expected thing, but he still denied that. "Thanks, I guess. But leave the credit where the credit is due, basically put, I'm not as wise as you may think I am."He sighed before speaking again,"My name's Leo. You've ought have a name yourself, what is it?"

The both shrugged slightly. This boy could deny the compliment all he wanted to, but couldn't change the fact Vlad had said it. True or false. Truth or lies. It still hung there in time, the fact he had complimented Leo would forever lie there in the past. It kinds sickened him. Knowing he gave a compliment to someone. He looked at the boy with his golden colored eyes, "Vladimir, but you can call me Vlad" he introduced himself to Leo.
