I've currently hit a road block within the planning stage of my story. I'm working on a fantasy piece that goes in heavy depth with specific characters and follows them throughout their changing world.
Currently I have finished the first few sets of characters for this piece.. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get this other set completed. I need names for The Guardian Elementals of the world. These are the individuals who watch over the elements. They protect the natural core of the element and keep its corruption at bay. These are not actual people, Instead they are the actual element. So, the names don't necessarily need to be names used for people.
I require names for all of the following Guardian Elements.
Earth
Fire
Water
Air
Ice
Electric
Poison
Light
Dark
Arcane

As the title of the post states, I require help with naming these individuals. As for the story, everything is entirely figured out. It is just missing the names of specific individuals and obviously the physical writing aspect.
There is a site where you can get lists for names. You could use it to help you brainstorm. The site is here.
What I do sometimes is look at Latin and Greek root words. For example Pluvio is my storm mage. So Latin for rain is Pluvia. I changed the a to an o, to make it more masculine and then voila... Pluvio.
Let me take a look at some of your elements and come up with something.
Light. So I put light in the translator and it came up with a bunch of words.. The first one is Lux.. Which is not that cool. But scrolling down the list I see "Lucidis: bright, light, lucid, clear, fine, unshadowed"
I wouldn't leave it exactly like that personally because I don't want it to be exactly Latin... So I would make the suggestion for Lucidious
Feel free to go to translate.google.com and get your ideas.

Random suggestions...
Earth - Erobos, Shah
Fire - Faro, Ragul
Water - Talti, Sashu
Air - Fashee, Wisu
Ice - Kressak, Ash
Electric - Thremin, Kradem
Poison - Saemi, Tiro
Light - Elati, Hana
Dark - Lulabin, Isamay
Arcane - Hane, Soraem
I tend to go by the phonetics of things a lot. 'Course, it's generally good to pick what sort of sounds tend to appear in the culture that did the naming, first. ^^

I don't have anything specific right off the bat for you, however I've found that even for fantasy-based naming, Behind The Name is a decent tool for finding words related to things, like the sea (Njörd), forests (Silvanus), fire (Pyrratius), &c. Even if you don't want to use real names, it's a good tool for seeing how actual names are formed and change through history and between nations (can we say 'there are too many ways to say John???'), so you can have a basis and idea for your fictional ones.
