The police began to scream into their radios and pull out their guns all at once. "What are you doing?" Sam uttered after being freed, he bent down to check the pulse of the cop, the man was dead. He was being saved by a murderer, he had dated a murderer. "Talia stop you can't do this," Sam remembered he was a criminal too but he had done it to save someone he loved. Wait so what made this act any different then his? Nothing.
Get on the ground witch! A female cop pointed her gun firmly at Talia, this was a small town so their were only three cops left including the one who just burst out of the stations jail unit. Officer down! Officer down! The three cops pointed there guns at the girl ready to shoot, "stand down Talia, I don't want you to get hurt," still kneeling on the floor Sam took her hand softly, he was still unsure of what to do, almost a dozen people were in the station. She wouldn't kill all of them would she?

Rayner laughed. "What about me though?" He joked. He reached across his shoulders and pet Zander on the head. A few minutes later his finger tips reached the tip of the ledge and he let Zander off of his back. Before him was a craven and sure enough, the source of the beep was from a camera hanging on the side of the craven. Rayner looked at it for a second and almost instinctively knew what was wrong with it. But before he investigate longer he turned around and laid on the dirt flooring. He reached out his arm at Corvina. "Grab my hand, I'll pull you up." He said, reassuring her.
"I-I'm not a witch!!" Talia shouted defiantly. She hated that term, almost as much as she hated her powers and herself. The younger kids had teased her, threw rocks and toys at her, and all the while they called her a witch because she was different!
"I'm a Fateweaver, and I have the power to kill you all...but I won't." Talia muttered softly, her eyes falling to the dead cop's body.
This wasn't suppose to happen! They were suppose to run and scream, there was suppose to be mass confusion and Sam was to escape. But even for her, one who could change fate at will, Fate could still be cruel.
"I'll bring him back to life and stand down. But in exchange you must release Samuel Throne and drop all charges" She said, her voice still calm. Though Talia knew not how she could stay this calm after she had screwed up so badly.

The police slightly lowered their weapons as the girl knelt down next to Sam in front of the dead body. "Fate weaver?" Sam was the only one utterly confused, "what are you?" Sam was a good person he always had been but he was ready to pay for his crimes but it wasn't fair for her. She was only trying to save him. "They won't let you go," he looked at the police mans belt, "even if you can bring this man back to life..."
Sam grabbed the mans gun and stood up pointing it at the police, "she said stand down!" He hoped this girl wasn't insane, she had literally handed him a hundred thousand dollars and now she has killed a man for him. Did she love him, "stand down damnit!" Thorne looked down at her doing whatever she was doing and hoped it would work, even if they got captured no life was worth his freedom. Not in Sam's opinion anyway.

Pain. It was all so very painful to be giving the Cop life again. After all by doing this, She was shorting her life. Though Talia didn't regret it, it was something she had longed to do to Sam's father if she had been given the chance. Yet she found comfort in doing this as well.
Soon the Cop awoke with a gasp of Air, his eyes flinging open frantically. Talia could tell he was nervous and a bit scared. Though who wouldn't be? After this, everyone would be afraid of her. She could literally kill a person with one look or wave of her hand. Not to mention she could revive the dead. Though not if they had been dead for awhile, luckily the cop had only been dead for about Two minutes.

The cop scurried back to his friends, what the hell just happened? The police guns raised once more but the rest of the room cleared fast people flowed out of the double doors behind Sam, this would be a good time to try and get out but Talia was on the ground, she looked in pain. "Are you gonna be ok?" Sam asked as the place became empty besides them and the four police officers. The lady put her gun away and pulled the newly living officer away from this action. Two cops still pointed their guns at Sam and Talia and Sam pointed a gun right back at them.
"Don't worry about me, you should be running away as well" Talia commented weakly, the pain that surged throughout her body was almost unbearable. But she had made a deal and now that she had kept her side of the deal, so would they!
"You have to let him go, W-We made a deal!" Talia shouted weakly at the police officers. Her vision started to blurr and she turned to cough, blood splattered on the floor.
Though she wasn't dying, Talia sure felt like it. She hoped it wouldn't get worse, or she wouldn't be able to do anything else for awhile. If the Police continued to press her, more lives would surely be lose, and it probably would involve the government.

Sam started down the police men reading their badges, "officers Colt and Howard..." He remembered the woman's name too, and the man on the floor, "get that officer to the hospital," after what the police just saw their guns weren't pointed as firmly at him but more at Talia. "Put the guns down and hunt us after you help your friend." His right hand still pointed the gun at the police as his left grabbed a pair of keys from behind the counter.
Let them go, the female officer called from father back, I need to get him to a hospital Colt help me get him to a car! The officer sighed bolstering his gun and walked over to his friend whose breathing had become short and quick. Sam helped Talia up as they backed out of the station, Stand down Howard, well get them tonight, Officer Colt called helping his other friend up. And the other cop lowered his gun as Thorne and Talia escaped the station.
Finding the police car the keys belonged to Sam helped Talia into the passenger seat and started it up, "what do you say we get out of here." A screeching of tires could be heard for blocks and they were off. "Fate weaver?" Sam finally asked once they were a few blocks away from the mess that had been created.

"I figured you would ask me about this..." Talia let out a deep breath. This would definitely take some time to explain.
"I'll will tell you all you wish to know, but first you must answer some questions of my own" She said glancing at him. Dispite her hand nervously rubbing her Tattoo, She spoke calmly and softly.
"You saw what I did back there," She started off.
"Did that not scare you? Do you think of me as a witch? A murderer?"
Talia waited patiently for his reply, nervous of what he would say. Though she expected it to get much worse. He would probably hate her or call her some evil spawn of Satan. Whatever he would say, Talia would be brave and listen.

Thorne was silent for a long while as he drove past the apartment and out towards the park. "You are a murderer," he said finally, murderers kill people and you killed that guy. His heart was racing but his voice only showed it a little bit. He tried to be calm, he was pretty sure who she really was. "But you brought him back too which makes you a healer of some sort." The cars radio whispered something about a witch and an armed gun man escaping in a cop car, Sam turned it off.
"But I'm pretty sure I understand who you are now," his eyes never left the road, "a hundred thousand dollars out of no where, kill people and bring them to life with one gesture, who else could you be?" He glanced at her, seeing she didn't understand where he was going he decided to spell it out for her, "your female Jesus, aren't you?"

A light chuckle escaped her lips. His answer had been totally unexpected and very funny.
"Female Jesus?" I'm nothing like that..." She said with a slight smile. It felt weird to be smiling after all that had happened.
"My tattoo, if you haven't noticed, is the base of my powers. I can basically see things that others can not. I have the power to read and change the intricate tapestry of fate be it good or bad." Talia tried to explain.
"Giving people extra time to live or ending their life is something that I must do, dispite I hate to do it. I have even tried to help your father, though fate can sometimes work in different ways then I won't it to." She said uneasily. She was seriously regretting saying anything that had to do with his father. What if he blamed her for his death? Talia hoped he would not. She had tried to save many people but eventually they would all die. Though she could've tried harder, she should've!
"I am sorry..." Talia finally said after awhile. It was all she could think of saying.

Not female Jesus? Was she sure?? Maybe just an angel of some sort perhaps, because despite Sam's Atheist father he had followed his incarcerated mothers religious views in Christianity. "It's ok, I was only sad about my dad dying because I kinda wished for it." He wouldn't normally tell but his father had been a total drunk and didn't usually provide this is what most people knew. But his father was also mildly abusive, not physically but verbally.
Sam would never whine or cry about it after all his uncle beats his cousin, I guess it just ran in the family. It was a good lesson of how Sam shouldn't treat his kids if or when he ever became a dad. "He wasn't exactly the greatest father and continually pestered me for alcohol," Thorne sighed, "so I told him that I hoped his booze killed him." And indeed they had and it actually hurt Sam more then he had previously believed it would.
Sam turned down a dirt road outside the Kalispell city limits, "but it doesn't really matter anymore," he smiled and looked at Talia, "so, where we going Miss Jesus?"

Corvina smiled. Of course she wouldn't want either of them to get hurt. Teasing Rayner was too much fun though! She looked down and was surprised to see how high up they were. It appeared higher than she thought they'd be. She didn't have a fear of heights but felt adrenaline spike through her. She looked back up to see Rayner reach the opening and pull himself into it. She was dying to ask him what he saw. However, being the gentleman that he was, Rayner put down his hand to help her up. She grabbed it and pushed up off the hand and footholds she was on.
"Well I could always call my mother, though-Wait, did you say We?" Talia stared at him in utter shock and disbelief. He was coming with her?!
"Sam y-you shouldn't be with me..." It hurt to say these words, yet it was what she believed was best. Talia didn't have full control of her powers yet and If Sam was to ever get hurt or Die because of her, Talia would never forgive herself.
"You should leave, change your name and start a family or something" She suggested. "If you follow me I will only lead you down a path of death and sadness"
Her heart clenched slightly at the thought of being left alone and worse that Sam would forget about her If he left. But Talia didn't belong with him, She belonged to be alone or locked up. She had changed the fates of many, yet only one person had changed her heart, He had made her feel normal and special in a good way. But now she had to let him go, to protect him from herself.

It was quite easy to pull Corvina up. He got up from the floor after she was up safely and he backed off from the edge. "Well, I didn't want to tell you until now...but I'm the Batman and this is the enterence to my Bat cave. Alfred? Where are you?" Rayner joked giving a little laugh at the end. He turned around and noticed that Corvina was still close to the edge. "What if I just pushed you off right now?" he laughed before grabbing her hand and pulling her away from the edge. Before them was a dark craven, somewhat damp from the water all around them. It was dark though and Rayner could only see into it about 10 or 15 feet max ((4.5 meters...)).
He untied the rope from his harness and walked closer to the camera that was hanging there. He stared at it, realizing that there was a snapped wire behind it. He reached up and touched it, making sure to dry his hands off on a rag first before doing so. "Yup..." he said. "Looks like this thing has been down for a while..." he said and soon yanked the yellow wire out of the camera. The beeping immediately stopped.
He observed the wire and noticed that someone had cut it instead of just tearing it up. "Hmmm...looks like someone has cut it too..." he said showing Corvina the wire.
Rayner looked back up at where the camera was positioned and began to analyze it before noticing some of the wires leading into the cave. Rayner looked back at Corvina, down at Zander, and back at Corvina. Maybe it was his sense of adventure, or maybe it was his curiosity...or it could simply be the adrenaline still rushing through him, but he simply looked at Corvina and smiled.
"Shall we enter?" He asked pulling out a flashlight and switching it on.

Sam slowed the car down, "leave you? Are you kidding??" If she was mad at him he didn't know why, he didn't like his father but letting a man die is just wrong! That's why he stole the money from the bank in the first place, "if you want to leave without me that's fine but I have nothing..." The car was stopped on the dirt road and pug into park.
"If you leave I'm not going to just keep running, I'll turn myself in," he brushed hair off her face, placing it generally behind her ear. "You are all I have," he met her about a week ago, maybe two at most but she was the only thing he had left, he'd follow her anywhere as long as she wanted him.

Dispite the blush on Talia's face at Sam's gentle action, Her mind was still focused on what he said. She was all he had left, meaning there was no one else for him to turn to. Also there was the fact that Sam didn't run away from her, he had basically accepted her as she was. Talia was no monster or evil witch, just someone who was different.
"Sam," She began, a smile forming on her face "You can follow me anywhere! I won't object!"
Talia wouldn't just leave him alone, it would be wrong to do such a thing! If Sam wanted to follow her, why would she object? He didn't seem to be afraid of her and She wouldn't do anything to harm him, at least try not to.

Sirens could be heard as two police cars few by the little abandoned dirt road not noticing the cops car, but the third cop car turned hard screeching it's tired and raced towards them! Sam threw it into drive and took off at full speed, "where to princess?" He began to laugh, he felt like they were in an old Bonnie and Clyde movie.
A voice came over the other cars speakers, this is officer Colt, the bald man from inside said. Stop to car and turn yourselves in and no one has to get hurt. Sam knew that may be true from himself but after what Talia showed them she could do it would be pain and torment for the rest of her days. Thorne picked up the radio, "I do to think I have time for that in my schedule, sorry," he smiled at his friend.
"Girlfriend?" He asked, half joking at the situation. He opened his hand, "this is one hell of a third date!"

Talia grimaced at the loud sounds coming from the police car. All of these loud sounds were not helping her think any clearly about where to go. If she remembered correctly her mother had bought a small house somewhere around the area, just in case something like this happened. Though she couldn't excatly remember where it was. If only she had thought to bring her phone but unfortunately she had left it sitting on her-!
"No, No, No!" Talia shook her head frantically "My books, I left them! Oh god, we are screwed!"
"They contain all information about my powers," She explained seeing how he would probably be lost on why they were such a big deal
"I hope they don't find them or the government will be are next problem..."

She was frantic, he didn't know how to help this road lead away from the town and it wasn't easy to turn around with a motorcycle let alone a car. And with an officer on their tale it'd be hard to get away if they did turn around. "Do you need them?" Sam didn't know how a few books could be that dangerous. "You know how to drive right?" He looked around and formed a plan in his head, but he needed to see if these books were really worth going back.
