Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina laughed when he asked if she had a pool. Her dad had a shed that took up space in the already small yard and Zander was like the backyard decor man. If he found anything he liked out and about, he'd bring it back and find just the right spot for it. The only one that might fit in her yard would be a kiddie pool. Which there was, for Zander to cool off on hot days. "No, I was planning on going to the public pool. I don't have a pool of my own. That would be pretty cool."

She smiled. "I think I'll take you up on running together again, so long as no more rattle snakes join in again. Once is enough for me. As for just hanging out, that sounds like fun." She giggled when his stomach growled. "You'd better get inside and eat some lunch before you starve."
Rayner nodded with a friendly smile on his face. "Oh, awesome! Hey a pool is a pool! There's a great public one on Marvin and Orange a few blocks down from the school - I usually go to that one." Rayner suggested. Rayner let out a small laugh when she joked about the rattle snakes.

"Alright guess I should go eat something, it was a pleasure meeting you Corvina, and of course, you too Zander!" Rayner said and slowly started jogging towards the direction of his complex. "See you around!" He was half way towards the streets when he realized he hadn't given her any contact information.

"Hey Corvina!" He shouted. "You can find me on Scotts' Line!" he said. Though he rarely used their school's social media network, he did have a profile on there. And with that he turned back around and started to run forward towards the complex.

As Rayner did though, he noticed a woman near by watching him and Corvina. He didn't think too much of it and simply jumped the fence and into his apartment complex.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

She knew the pool he was talking about. She walked past it as she went to and from school. "It was nice to meet you too Rayner, bye!" Zander looked at Rayner when he said the fox's name and sneezed. Corvina lifted Zander up to her shoulder at started walking away until he called her name again. She nodded when he said she could find him on Scott's Line. She had a profile on there too, though it hadn't been used since the day she made it. She'd pretty much forgotten about it. "Alright, I'll find you on there!" She called back.

Corvina resumed walking in a direction that would take her past the girl that had been watching them. She was probably wondering about why Zander was following them.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Corvina and Rayner..." Talia muttered, her eyes returning back to her book. It was nice to know there names, though they knew not her name. Talia like to observe others then to actually socialize, which was probably her main reason why she didn't have any friends. Sighing, Talia closed her book and reached in her pocket, pulling out her phone. At least that's what she had planned to do but then she realized her phone was still in her apartment. Frowning at her misplacement of her phone, Talia had no other choice to go and get it. After with her mom, currently on another Archeologist trip in some far off country, there would be no other way to contact her without a phone.
"Just my luck..." She said with a defeated sigh and made her way back to her apartment. Hopefully the trip wouldn't take to long, so she could go back to reading!

Thorne had finished his recordings and was heading out when his drunken father called him, he ignored it. Samuel Thorne the first had been a high classed detective in Seattle but moved east to this small mountain town for family, but it was really to get away from the city where his wife was incarcerated. The drinking calmed him down at first, but now it was just a sad addiction.

Thorne slipped his phone back into his pocket and headed out to the parking lot. It was late afternoon by now and he had only been at work for three hours, but when you're as good at you're job as Thorne you can finish a days works of work in a few hours. Sam hopped on his motorcycle, started it and took off towards his cramped apartment. He enjoyed this part of the day most, a fun day at work was done and he got to watch the sun set as he passed the Glacier Valley park and trails.
Rayner had just finished lunch and taken a shower. He stepped out into his living room with a towel draping over his shoulders. His apartment was empty as usual. It makes sense. He was the only one that lived there. His father was constantly away on business to the point where Rayner doesn't remember the last time he actually saw his father. It was okay though. He knew his father needed to do what he needed to do.

Rayner walked to his window to see one of his neighbors slipping into the driveway of the complex. He watched as the motorcycle pulled into the parking lot. Rayner had always admired motorcycles and thought about getting his motorcycle licenses one day. He had seen his neighbor and his bike before multiple times but has never made contact.

Tossing the towel on to the black leather couch, Rayner brushed his hair back with his hand and put on his thick black rimmed glasses. He had taken his contacts out earlier before the shower and decided to go the rest of the day without them. Grabbing his keys, Rayner left his apartment and headed downstairs into the complex's parking lot.

Where he was going? It didn't matter. There was much more to do in the small town than there was in his home.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Alright Mom, See you in a couple of months" Talia smiled slightly as she ended her conversation with her mom. She hated that her job took her away from her, yet it did help pay the bills and Talia would always get something new from her Mother's archeologist adventures. Though it be an ancient artifact or a new book to add to Talia's growing collection, she always enjoyed her mother's tales.

But setting that aside, Talia's mind wandered to getting something to eat. Her stomach had been growling the whole time through her mother's conversation. It was quite embarrassing. Grabbing her phone, Talia headed out her small apartment and locked the door behind her.
"What should I eat...?" She questioned out loud, heading outside.

Sam's apartment building was three stories and he lived on the third, his building was next to town houses where a few of high old high school friends had lived before they escaped this small town to pursue real dreams as they put it. He didn't care, he told himself as he pulled out his keys to enter the building he looked around meeting the glance of a boy probably two or three years younger then he.

The door opened and he dropped his keys, "damn," he cussed stooping down to pick up the keys. As he stood again a girl, still probably a year or two under him, met his eyes. She was beautiful but he had noticed her before, the difference was that from a distance she had looked younger. But now, "Umm, hey," Sam smiled.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina absentmindedly scratched Zander's chin as she walked home. It wasn't far. Zander closed his eyes in contentment and curled his body around the back of her neck. If he was a cat, he might have been purring. Several people stared at her as she passed by. Maybe some people thought he was a fashion accessory.

"Dad, I'm home!" She called out to the house as she walked in the door. Corvina filled Zander's food bowl and went to take a shower. As she was towel drying her hair afterwards, she looked online for Rayner. She found him and sent him a quick friend request before going and telling her dad about her day. He widened his eyes in surprise and mock horror when she mentioned the rattle snake and made all the right serious or funny faces at the right times.

"So kiddo, what's for dinner?" Corvina loved to cook and often made their meals, but tonight felt like a take out night. "How's about Little Italy?" It was her favorite place to eat. She usually got the tender baked chicken and pasta salad.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

Blinking in utter confusion, Talia quickly turned around to make sure there was no one behind her. Had he been talking to her? How strange, no one at this apartment complex had spoken one word to her.
"Um Hello," She replied back, a slightly blush upon her face. Talia had always had an awkward time socializing with others. If only she didn't spend most of her time reading, then she probably wouldn't have this problem. Today just got better and better. Talia sure hoped she wouldn't embarrass herself any farther, especially not infront of someone she just met.

He could talk to one thousand people no problem but that was behind the cover of his microphone. "Names Sam," He held out his hand, he had a girl friend once be that was back in high school two years ago, "I've been here a little over a year." He hoped she was a senior, he saw her take the high school bus on his way to cover an early shift at the station once, but this was summer maybe she had graduated?

As her hand fell into his he did not even think, all he knew of romance was in his failed relationship of three months and hollywood romance films. He pulled her hand to his lips and kissed her hand, "nice to meet you," he smiled once she responded. He then moved out of the way not to stop her from where she was trying to get too.
Rayner was strolling around the downtown area of the town. Since school was out, it was more crowded than usual. The movie theater seemed packed and so did the arcade near by. Rayner decided that it would be best if he didn't go to either of this places but instead find some where else to go. That's when his eyes landed on Danielle's Coffeehouse, one of his favorite places to go. It looked quite empty - then again, it was later in the day and warm enough for people not to want coffee.

Rayner looked both ways before jogging across the street and soon entered through the glassdoor. He was instantly hit with the fresh aroma of coffee and fresh pastries that made his stomach grumble. "Hello...oh, hey, Rayner!" the woman behind the counter greeted him with a warm smile. Rayner walked up to the curly hair woman, the owner of the coffeehouse - Danielle. "Hello Mrs. D, how are you doing?" Rayner asked. "I'm great, how about yourself? Are you meeting a date here tonight?" she teased him. Rayner let out a small chuckle. "No, no dates, just me." He answered. "Awe well," Danielle let out a small sigh. "The usual then?" She asked. Rayner nodded and also added on a banana nut muffin before paying her.

When his coffee was up, he took a seat on the outdoor patio. It was nice outside and only a few people were out there talking. Rayner took this as a chance to people watch since the downtown area was busy with people. He sipped his coffee and slowly broke apart his muffin.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

Giggling at his attempts to woo her, Talia had almost forgotten how hungry she was. Though she had to admit that he was cute.
"I'm Talia and I've only just moved here a couple months ago" is what she had try to say yet the loud growling of her stomach prevented her not to. Now blushing even more than before, Talia wonder how she could ever save herself from further embarrassment. If only she had left early to get something to eat, then her problem of embarrassing herself would've been lessened.
"Er...I should probably go get something to eat..." She said laughing sheepishly.
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

A volcano erupted as a tsunami hit the bracket of where they lived. He had never, NEVER been able to make a girl giggle like that. "If you want I could uh," No don't stumble Thorne, he thought, "I could take you to get good if u want." Thorne's whitish blondish hair glowed as his face became more and more red, "not to be rude... But how old are you?" Thorne had to know he would be twenty one come winter. But if she was seventeen or younger, well even taking a girl that young out to eat would be creepy to him. His hand drifted behind his back and he crossed his fingers, please be eighteen, or nineteen, eighteen, or nineteen.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Oh, I just turned nineteen last week. My appearance makes me look a lot younger though." She said lightly. Sometimes it was an annoyance it have a young face. Most people mistook her for at least sixteen which caused a lot of problems when she tried to apply for college. Talia mentally shook her head, why did her life have to be so difficult?

Setting that aside, Talia thought about his offer. Though she had just met him, Talia felt he was trustworthy and a nice guy. And besides it would probably prove to be great fun to hang out with him. What did she have to lose?
"So, Where will we go?" She asked with a smile.
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

Nineteen, nineteen... A nuclear explosion went off inside of his chest, what the hell way this? Sam only felt this way when he pushed the record button in the station about to speak to his audience or when it was rainy and his bike started to slide a bit when he was trying to make a turn. Thorne was in the mood for ramen, as he always was but there was an Italian place just up the road. And that was a bit nicer the Casa de Thorne upstairs. "Little Italy is close," he suggested, "or that cool Mongolian place."

Sam smiled, why did he have to suggest the two most expensive places in town? Sam shrugged this thought away, it wasn't every day a girl only a year younger then her agreed to go out to dinner with him. Sam's phone rang, it was his dad, he ignored the call once again. Today had been a good day, no drunken dad asking for booze would stop him from enjoying his new found company.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Hmmm, Well I just left Italy not too long ago, so I'm not to fond of Italian food right now. But It's been a while since I last went to Mongolia and while I was there I did enjoy their food..." Talia said trying not to ramble on about her exotic trips around the world. Being that her Mother was an Archeologist, Talia often traveled a lot as a child. So far she had been to Six different countries and spoke fluently Four different languages. But now was not the time to be thinking of such things.

"So does Mongolian food sound good to you?" She asked lightly. "If not We could always go get something else. I'm not a very picky eater. If it's food, I'm willing to try anything once!"
As the sun slowly set behind the town and the lights started to turn on in the downtown area, Rayner sipped his coffee slowly and sunk a bit into his chair. He adjusted his glasses to keep them from fall off his face and finished off his banana-nut muffin.

The things at Danielle's Coffee shop always hit the right spots. Rayner leaned back in the metal chair a bit and observed all of the people around him - mainly the couples now, who were out and about on dates. He could tell which were on their first dates, which were about to break up, which were having a good time, and which were going completely south. This wasn't the first time he had sat at Danielle's Coffee house and observed people on date night.

"Yeah sounds good to me," Sam stepped back off the steps and walked down the walk way, "question is, do you want to take a walk?" Sam smiled at her, "or take a bike?" Sam Thorne's best quality was his voice, not to say he was a bad looking guy cause he wasn't but his voice commanded friendship, he had just never used it for that. He held up his motorcycle keys and jingled them a bit, he was a bit exited for this date, or dinner, or whatever it was.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"You have a bike? Really?!" She couldn't help but smile in excitement. Talia had taken an interest in motorbikes and motopeds ever since she stayed in Italy, though she didn't understand why. Maybe it had something to do with the feeling of the wind rushing past her or just the feeling of being normal that had draw Talia to them. Normal...It was one thing Talia wished and hoped to be seen as, but normal was something she could never be, for she kept a secret that made her anything but that.

"Wow you just keep getting cooler and cooler!" She smiled genuinely at him. Today really was a interesting day!
