Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina laughed at that. She couldn't even imagine Rayner doing anything terrible to her like that. Though the real culprits were hardly ever actually first suspected in mysteries. Not that she was particularly worried either way. She smiled at his enthusiasm to see Zander again. "I knew you only liked me for my fox."

She swam to the edge of the pool with him and took his hand when he offered it. Even though they'd been in the cool water for some time now, his skin was warm. Corvina quickly dropped his hand after she was out of the pool. "It won't take me long. Zander's always ready to go, and I doubt he'll want to be left behind again."
"Oh, you caught me! Well, I'll be at the head of the trail, see you there!" Rayner ran off. "HEY! NO RUNNING!" he could hear the lifeguard yelling at him. But he didn't care. It wasn't the first time they yelled at him. He gathered his stuff and threw on a shirt in the locker room before heading back out. He ran past the bank again, the one that had been robbed - at this time, it seemed that the cops had packed up and allowed the bank to return to business. Rayner continued to run across the street and home.

He left his boardshorts on - planning on swimming again at the lake. He simply grabbed his hydration pack, a sweater, a towel, some snacks, and threw on a pair of his hiking boots. He equipped his pocket knife to one of his backpack straps and threw a lighter into one of the pockets that contained a small first aid kit. Finally he took his paracord bracelet and put it on. He was ready to go.

In no time flat he was out of his apartment and running to the trailhead. The sun was still up high, there was plenty of daylight left for them to go check out the lake. Once he got there, he simply waited.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina laughed and shook her head. She grabbed her towel from where she'd left it on the lounge chair and wrapped it around herself against the chill of the air against her wet skin. She never did have much tolerance for the cold. She quickly went to the locker room and changed back into dry clothes with a towel thrown over her shoulder for her wet hair to drip onto. Much as she'd like to just throw them on over her bathing suit, that tended to leave terrible wet spots and the idea of just walking around town in a bikini didn't appeal to her.

She hurried home as fast as she could, only to find her house empty except for Zander--who was very put out about having to stay in an empty house. After some searching, she found a note held down by a pen on the table from her father telling her that he had gone out and would be home later in the evening. Corvina grabbed a piece of scratch paper and scribbled a note that she was out hiking with a friend and had taken Zander with her in case her dad came home before she did. She put the note on top of the one from her father before changing into khaki shorts and a dark blue t-shirt. She tied her hair into a ponytail since there wasn't much she could do with it wet and it was likely to get wet all over again swimming in the lake. After packing her towel and bathing suit into a backpack that would be easier to carry, along with some treats for Zander and the pocketknife her dad had given her, Corvina decided she was ready to go and tied on her hiking boots.

It didn't take her long to reach their meeting spot at the trailhead, but Rayner still beat her there. "Thanks for waiting up." She said when they came closer. She looked at what he'd changed into. "Well, you certainly look prepared. Are you sure you haven't done this dozens of times before with innocent people never to come out of the lake again?" Corvina smiled.
"Ha, wouldn't you like to know?" He smirked and pulled out his pocket knife. "I'm totally kidding with you! Stop worrying." He said looked down at the fox. He knelt down and reached out his hand. "Hey how is it going, Zander?" He asked the fox and pet it behind the ears, hoping that he won't bite. Rayner quickly retreated his hand though and looked up at the trail. "Well, come on, lets head there! It shouldn't be far - maybe only about 2 miles from here...oh and a mile up I suppose. I haven't be there, but everyone is always talking about it at school." Rayner explained and started up the trail.

He took a few more steps and looked back at Corvina and Zander. "Seriously, I'm not a serial killer!" he laughed and soon started to walk the trail, slowly so that she'd catch up.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina laughed. She wasn't truly worried about Rayner being a serial killer, but he didn't need to know that. Zander perked up his ears and looked at Rayner when he said his name. Corvina had told Zander to be nice while they were walking to the trailhead. He sniffed Rayner's fingers when he reached down to pet the fox and sneezed. He seemed to get bored with just standing there and stalked off into the bushes.

Corvina smiled and started walking with Rayner. "Well that's not so far." Zander started making a barking noise, scaring dozens of birds up out of the bushes and nearby trees. He ran and jumped up, narrowly missing catching one in his jaws. He whined and looked back at Corvina, as if she could make the birds fly lower. She laughed at his expression.
Rayner was amused with Zander jumping about. He continued to walk on the trail, looking around and observing every little detail of the forest area. His sharp photographic memory usually helped him in his academics, b but it had been used to get himself out of danger as well. Testing and pushing his skills to be able to remember things has been made into a little game for him.

About a mile and a half into the trail, Rayner saw signs for the lake but then saw another sign for a waterfall. He turned around and looked at Corvina. " So I know I said lake earlier but how do you feel about going on a little adventure?" he pointed at the sign that showed the trail up to the waterfall. He looked back to her again with a smile. " I'm down if you are, if not we can go another day"
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Hmm, that's a tough one. I guess my favorite place I have ever lived in was Japan. The culture is very different and the food there isn't have bad either" Talia said. She remembered her days back in japan all too well, back then life seemed very normal. She had actually made some friends and learned some cool recipes for Ramen since they lived next to a local Ramen shop. Talia was even exceeding in school there, despite the difficulty in learning Japanese. But there she went again, Rambling in her head and getting lost in her old memories seemed to be a common thing today.

"I would love to go back, but I think I might like it here as well" She smiled up at him, a faint blush colored her cheeks. Though Sam didn't have the same powers as her, he sure had a funny way of changing fate for her.

They finally arrived at the theatre and Sam stepped up to the window, more then embarrassed he asked, "Two tickets for the princess one..." He payed smiling like he knew the kid behind the window but he didn't. He didn't even really care but it was a movie about a princess, he didn't want to see it let alone order the tickets for it but Talia sure was cute, and exited when he mentioned the film. He handed her the ticket.

"Here you go," he smiled, hope its better then all the bad reviews say, is what he wanted to say but he wasn't in the mood for that he just wanted to enjoy her company, and thats why he got the tickets anyway. She was amazing and he would never be able to pay her back... At least a girlie movie was a good place to start.
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

"Oh my god I can't believe we are going to see Time Traveling Princes!!" Talia exclaimed happily as they waited to get into the movie. She felt as if she was the luckiest girl in the world or in their case the luckiest adult person, since every other adult in the line looked completely miserable. Talia knew she was acting, well very not like her age but she couldn't help it!

"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!" Talia squealed in joy while giving Sam the tighest hug she could muster. Sam was seriously the best person ever and if possible She even liked him even more!!
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

He wrapped his arm around her, kissing her on the top of her head, "sure thing," He was at the point where he would do anything for her. The doors opened, "ready to see princes of, um time?" He looked at the ticket unable to recall the name of the movie, but the amount of glitter on the piece of paper in his hand made the stub unreadable. He laughed, moving his eyes focusing into hers, "whatever, as long as i get to see it with you."
Talia (played by MoonKunoichi)

Talia rushed in once the door opened and quickly reached the first two front row seats. A perfect spot to see the big screen. As the movie started Talia's blue orbs turned into huge blue saucers. Everything was so glittery and covered in rainbows! And the Princess of Time was so awesome!! Talia wondered if this day could get any more awesomer than it already was!
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Zander continued to traipse about the woods scaring up prey and eventually catching one. Their walk grew quieter as he fell behind to eat his prize. Corvina knew he'd catch up later so she wasn't worried. Looking over at Rayner, she noticed how much he observed his surroundings, like he was trying to absorb all the details and commit them to memory.

By the time they'd reached the signs, Zander had caught up again, looking quite proud of himself. Corvina smiled and picked him up. "I'm always down for adventure!" She looked at the sign he was pointing at. "Wow, I didn't even know we had a waterfall this nearby." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Are you sure you didn't plant this waterfall sign here earlier?" She laughed. It was amazing how much "evidence" one could find pointing to a certain situation, if you were looking for it.
Rayner cocked his eyebrow at her. Even he had to admit, this was starting to look more and more like a murder waiting to happen. They had only met the other day and already they were hanging out. "Well...how do I know that YOU'RE not going to murder me?" he smirked. "Come on then, this will be new for the both of us!" he said and looked down at Zander and smiled. He turned around and began to walk the way to the falls.

As they got closer, Rayner could hear the sound of a stream running and in no time they were climbing down rocks and ended up walking up stream. The riverbed was small and had a gentle flow of water. There were plenty of beautiful greens to look at and random wild animals.

Rayner looked ahead and saw the the trail was blocked off by some bushes. He looked at it and then to his left where there were plenty of rocks upon the stream. "Think you can handle some boulder hoping?" he asked Corvina, wanting to make sure she was okay with going off the trail a bit. He took one swift leap and landed perfectly balanced on a rock and then another and another. He looked around and soon found himself picking up a large flat piece of wood. He carefully laid it down before Corvina, creating a path for her and Zander to cross the stream with ease. "Come on, I'll try to make a path for you." he said and leaped ahead, laying down more flat pieces of wood where he can.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina looked at him and gave an evil laugh. Zander jumped at the suddenness of it and eyed her warily. "I guess you don't know whether I am for sure or not huh? But we'll find out soon enough." She smiled as fiendishly as she could. "No one suspects the weaker innocent looking one until it's. Too. Late!" This really was a lot of fun, and they weren't even at the waterfall yet!

She wasn't able to hold up her evil act for long though and soon fell into laughter that died down to spurts of giggles and fizzled out to a wide grin on her face. Zander yawned and crawled up to his place around her neck to nap. Corvina was excited when she heard the sound of water. They were getting close.

She was unsure about leaving the trail to go up rocks. Corvina had never had much of a sense of direction and knew she'd be lost if she left the path. Remembering how observing Rayner was earlier, she knew he wouldn't be lost, and he was even going to lengths to lay out a path for her to make it easier. She nodded her agreement and followed Rayner, walking across the path he was creating for her.

Sam almost fell asleep during the film, the amount of times the phrases; friendship lasts forever, true love stops the clock, or dreams do come true, were horrific. The casualties included every dad in the entire audience, girls from four to fourteen cried every step of the way. And like those poor dads Thorne was willing to sit through it for his date.
He laid down another plank of wood and they reached a bunch of rocks. He knew that they were going to reach the waterfall soon. The sound of water was getting louder. Rayner watched as Corvina crossed - making sure that she was getting through okay before he moved on. He stood there with his hands on his waist and glaced over his shoulder to see a few rocks and boulders. He could see the trail again not too far away. "Come on, I'm sure we're almost there." He said and went ahead. He leaped on top of the last boarder and jumped off of it with ease.

Once he was back on the dirt trail he realized that the boarder was pretty tall. He walked towards the boarder and reached his hands up to the top. "Here, take my hand, I'll help you down." He said, getting ready to brace and help her down.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina followed behind him carefully. It would be just her luck to slip and twist her ankle. Her jostling movements woke up Zander who hopped down from her shoulder and onto the boulder she was currently on. He made a yawning sort of noise and looked around to see what had changed. He spotted Rayner and nimbly traveled over the boulders, looking back on her occasionally like Rayner was. She smiled at how similar they both looked.

She was relieved when they came to the end of the boulders. Corvina paused at the last one, looking around. It was a little disconcerting to be so high but she could see so much more. Zander jumped down lightly onto Rayner's head and onto the ground from there. Corvina giggled and reached for Rayner's hand, glad for the help. "Thank you, and I'm sorry about Zander. He tends to be rude but loving. Like a cat."
Rayner made a face when Zander used him as a sort of stepping stone. "Rude, or smart? Haha I don't mind. Alright, here we go." he was pretty strong young man, the years of gymnastic and simply being an athlete helped with that. He gently gripped her hand and soon reach up with the other, holding her by the waist and got her down safely on to the dirt floor. He let go of her and turned to look at the little fox before spotting the waterfall in the small clearing.

"Hey, we made it!" He said and started to run up the trail. "Come on Zander! I'll race you!" he said and took off running towards the falls, hoping the little fox would race along the side of him.
Corvina (played by Tolora)

Corvina blushed a little as he reached around her waist and brought her down gently. Luckily he couldn't see her face until he set her down. She was glad they'd finally made it. Zander looked at her like he was complaining about how long it took her to catch up. He wanted to go have fun! Rayner accomplished that with a challenge to a race. He yipped and ran off with Rayner.

"Hey, I've gotta go change back into my bathing suit and find the murder weapon I stashed here earlier! Meet you guys at the waterfall!" She smiled and walked a little ways into the woods to change into her red bikini. After throwing her clothes into the backpack, she ran off towards the waterfall as quietly as she could. She was going to look at what Rayner and Zander were doing and see if she could surprise them.
Rayner sprinted and once he reached the soft pebble sand mixture of the ground he stopped and looked down at Zander who caught up to him. "Hmmm...lets just call that a tie, how does that sound?" Rayner asked the fox, not really expecting an answer in return. Then he looked up and he couldn't believe it. The waterfall was actually there. It was beautiful! He shaded his eyes to look at how tall it was.

"Well...that's a pretty tall fall...I didn't think these canyons had these here..." Rayner said and looked down at Zander who just sat there looking at the water. Rayner chuckled and placed down his hydration pack that contained his gears. He sat down on a log and began to take off his hiking boots before standing up. He took off his top not too long after with one tug from behind his neck. His toned and tanned body now reviewed to mother nature around them and began to kiss the sun again. Rayner laid his shirt and gear down on the log and started to walk towards the water.

When the fresh fall water touched his toes, he realized how cold it was...but at the same time, how good and refreshing it felt on such a warm day. He looked back at Zander. "Coming in buddy?" He asked before walking closer towards the waterfall.
