She smiled at it,but quickly turned away. She needes to get out of the school. Now,but she couldnt if she tried.
(can I join)
(ok thanks) *walks in school nervously and walking around*
Eliza walked down the paths talent scouting untill she saw the boy with the dragon. Quickly she grabbed him and pulled him to one side,"quickly you must come with me"
The moment I felt someone grab my arm, I whistled, calling the dagon back over to me. For now I went along with it but as I was half pulled and half following. I was not sure I really aught to be going with this but so far its been a dull morning and for one my interests had been aroused. Een the dragon seemed to be interested in the turn of events, but not very pleased with how I was being dragged about. Finally I managed to pull everyone to a stop in a rather empty hallway, breaking the persons grasp and backing off. "I am not taking another step ill you turn round and explain your reasoning for being so rude." I crossed my arms, the dragon now between me and this person, fully prepared to attack if threatened.
"Im so sorry but I cannot explain anything yet unless you come with me all I can tell you is that you are in great danger so please just follow me I mean you no harm" Eliza said looking up at the boy with her bright red eyes.
Ariel stared at both the girl and the boy, slightly amused at the boys expression. "Hm." She muttered,so nobody could hear her. "This boy. Seems familiar." Quietly, placing the hood back on her head, she went over to them and interupted their 'important covosation. "Where are you from?" She asked them both.
"Me in danger? Humph, nothing I am not use to." About then I heard a most familiar voice. Someone i knew but could not quite get the name out. With a thoughtful face I looked over and could not help but smile. "Cascada. Or so that was my home." I studied her a little more. "Come to think of it think i know yo. Have me met before?" It dawned on me then that the other girl was still there. I looked over at her then back at the almost familiar person. this was turning out to be a little more interesting than a normal day, and it was just my first day!
*walks outside and looks up*
"Ah! Yes I do know you! Your that talented witch from my last school. yes I remember, we were in that dark arts class studying the "dark" side of magic. You preformed excellent in there might I add. Shame the teacher didn't take notice." I pondered on the memory of that class and realized about now that that teacher rarely took notice of talented people and was probably the most boring teacher there. The books explained more than he did and that was saying a lot. "In fact, if memory serves me well, I was partnered with you on that last project we had. Something to do with the study of some dark creature." At this moment I realized I had my full attention on this more gothic person who as I recall had always been more of a lowner. Could never tell why. One thing was clear though, I was a direct opposite. Could not survive all on my own if I didn't have at least one friend with me.
Ariel sighed "I am. Please dont tell anyone,I'll get killed." Her eyes where pleading
"Nonsense! If they try killing you then they have to deal with me. Don't you remember the guy that went flying out the dorm room at our old school after threatening someone i knew? I swear that was well known a day or so latter. I mean it is what got me kicked out in the first place." In fact, at this point I was happy I did know someone. It meant i was not alone. It was more than I could ask for. "besides, the dragon likes yea. That is every reason to keep an eye out for you." I said with a friendly gesture.
"Power is not weighed in the spell you use, but it rather determined by your knowledge of magic itself. Just point them out when yea see trouble and I would be happy to assist." It was an honest statement at that. Many people who refer to others as "powerful" are normally referring to the types of spells they use and the effect of said spells. I concluded this being a simple cause of not having a far grater knowledge of magic, and art I was not just born into but studied all my life. However, I could not assume too much. There was the slim chance these people she refers to may know what they're doing compared to others and I had to approach it carefully. At least this is what I had o keep in mind. If they do tu ou to be a blow off, it was going to be like slicing cake.
"Right, right. Okay." She rolled her eyes slightly. "What I'm saying is,it was my own fault that I got banished."
"Excuse me here I don't need a life story thanx but seriosly evil people are coming after you and well if you dont come with me you might as well be allready dead because of your powers they want to kill you untill they get stronger" Eliza said in a low tone.
I looked over at the other woman. "Well, that is my life story. Being hunted for my powers? Yea I am use to that. In fact, I ave lived with it for so long to this point, I am fed up with everyone telling me to run. That is all I have done up till now and I a,m sick of it. So let them come." I looked at her with a look that reinforced how serious I was at this point. Even as I said it, I heard my name called from behind me. It was not a friendly voice. In the darkest tone and yet calmest that I could muster, I tooked a deep breath an spoke. "Leave him to me. I don't want help."
The dragon took flight, scouting out for more trouble as people cleared the halls, giving s room. The man who stood in the now open corridor was in part a large man, dressed in a robe like garment. "I don't believe we have met." I say comly, taking a few steps forward.
"The name if John Crowder and I am here to kill ye." Bla bla bla, I heard all this before.his own lack of interest in small talk was apparent. He began to move his body, directing the flow of magic as he prepared to use his first spell. I watched, carefully taking in the sings that wold direct me to the organs of the spell, and thus provide me with an idea for a counter. Even as he went through the motion, I saw the sparks at his fingertips. I responded, casting a wave of energy before me in a cylinder shape. About half way through the cycle, the bolt of lightning came at me, directed to my left side, aiming for an immediate kill. Moving my hands I shifted the cylinder, cating the lightning in it with a resounding explosive sound. He pushed for more energy, looking to break the counter. I glanced back and looked for an opening. Shoving the cylinder of energy to the left further out, I let the lightning break the spell I cast, causing it o miss me compleatly and hit the left wall, blowing off chunks of stone.
As it did so I leaped back and shot my hand toward him, igniting a ball of fire. A useless spell I knew, but it forced him to stop his current spell and counter that one. The timing was crucial to the plan. Leaping against the wall for a better angel, I bounced off in his direction. Within a moment the blade of my sword cut though his left shoulder, tossing him to the ground just after he countered my spell. He groaned in pain, grunted a little and moved to get up. I turned to face him. "Lets be fair here and not make a mess. There are innocent people here. We can finish this another time." My goal was more to not be the cause of endangering these other people. If this man had a sense of honor he would agree.
Thankfully he accepted. Nodding to me as he finally got up, holding a hand over his cut shoulder. With a burst of blue flame around him, it consumed him and vanished. He was gone, for now. I walked back towards the girls and waved my hand at the damaged wall, repairing it. "If you two will excuse me, I will be outside." I turned to the other woman who was originally trying to drag me off. "When your prepared to better explain your reasoning to dragging me off, we can talk. In the meantime, I have training to attend to."
I knew I was not being as nice as I should be, but this was really beginning to irritate me. All my life people have been trying to hide and shelter me from those who wanted me dead. I was done hiding and running. It was a waist of my time. I walked back the way I came in, followed closely by the dragon. Once I found some nice ground and open area, I cast a shielding dome that protected the ground and everything within a specific radius from harm. With that done, I began to dance through a rhythm of movements, every so often casting a spell or going through movements with the sword, taking my time and moving with grace, as I was taught.

Eliza walked up to the boy and studied him for a while,"I dont want to hide you and shelter you I want to help you fight, im here asking you if you want to join me and become a shadow slayer you can say no if you want but I can always find someone ese but you have a lot of power and your only using half of it"
