It was strange, but Alkilai felt comfortable being called that by Danny, it actually did feel like he was meeting someone he hadn't seen for a long time rather than meeting a stranger for the first time. He looked at the rings within the box and almost instinctively, without even looking at the inscriptions, he grabbed the one that belonged to war... the one that belonged to him.
"My mark, so we all have one of those?" He asked, referring to Danny's reaper tattoo.
"My mark, so we all have one of those?" He asked, referring to Danny's reaper tattoo.
"Have you forgotten your mark too? Oh man, you had a badass one" Danny said putting the box down "here take my hand and brace yourself" his hands began to glow "this will hurt man" he dad with a sorry look.
Alkilai did as he was told, he took his hand and waited. At first, nothing really happened, but suddenly, he felt an intense burning sensation within his soul which slowly made it's its way to his physical body, specifically his left arm. Alkilai screamed in pain, it was agonizing, but it eventually quelled down. He panted, trying to catch his breath, he looked over to his arm which seemed to be smoking and saw his mark.
((I don't know what you had in mind for it so you just describe it.))
((I don't know what you had in mind for it so you just describe it.))
((Lol, no worries xD))
The mark for Al was different but kind of expected in some ways. A tattoo of a spiked chain circled up his right arm as a red sword tattoo appeared down his back. The chain circled around the sword and then circled down his left arm. The chain moved each time he used an ability "those chains are the same ones that bound the devil to hell" he said looking at the tattoo "now they bind your explosive power so, if there come time when you need it, the chains become real and so does the flaming sword on your back" Danny had slightly similar but for him, the reaper mark on his right arm becomes real and all he has to do is wear it on his face to unleash his reaper form.
Danny patted Al on the shoulder "now for a ride, do you have one picked or do you want the dodge challenger I have round back? I painted it red with black race stripes waiting for you to come back man"

Alkilai shook his head, trying to regain his focus enough to give an answer.
"Uh, no, I don't really have a ride or anything, I usually just... walk." It was then that he finally noticed that his gauntlets were in complete shambles. They were completely obliterated, shards of broken metal spread across the floor. It was strange, his gauntlets have always been able to handle his "Holy Light", with that said, the power he just unlocked must dwarf whatever he had been using so far. He finally stood up, but his eyes never left the remains of his gauntlets, they had served him well these past few years, they were last thing he made before leaving home, he couldn't help but take a moment to mourn.
"...Well, I've got my mark and my ring, now what?" He questioned.

Danny watched as the gauntlets fell to the floor in pieces "I'm sorry man, the good thing is that, you can conjure any weapon you want but with the price of a little energy depletion each time, anyway!" He said walking over to a door to the right side of the room and placing a firm grip on a door knob "it's all yours"
He opened up the door to a beautiful dodge charger, the car was painted a cherry red with 2 black race stripes going down the middle "just touch it, and watch you steed return to you"
((I don't have to describe what your horse looks like, that's what role at is, expect the unexpected xD))

Alkilai never really had an interest in cars, but he somehow found himself drawn to this one. It was very, VERY nice to say the least, he sure wouldn't mind driving it around, he walked up to it to admire it up close. As he reached out and touched it with his hand, memories began to flood back into him, he saw a hooded man, himself yet someone else entirely, riding an otherworldly horse, glowing red sword in his hand, galloping onto a raging battle field. The image disappeared just as quickly as it came, he knew it wasn't an illusion, it felt too natural, like recalling a distant childhood memory.
"This, is mine." He said, more like a statement rather than a question. Without really thinking he opened to door and sat in the drivers seat, the keys were already in the ignition and so he turned them and the engine roared to life, but in its echo, he heard the faint sound of a horse's satisfied cry.

Danny leaned against the inside of the door frame, he chuckled at Al's expression. "A beaut isn't she?" He said walking towards the red car, he ran his fingers over the cars body "can you hear it neigh? Your horse missed you" he said losing himself in though as he stared At his reflection on the car window.
His bike's engine roared at the sound of the cars engine, it seemed they both missed each other "well what'dya know" he said with a smile walking over to his chopper, the bike roared, a distant neigh was heard in almost a whisper.
"Alright now fo-" before Danny could finish the garaged door was pierced by a blade "
knock knock" said a deep voice. The blade slowly cut it's way down "I'm here to collect your heads" the voice said before two hands opened up an entry for a tall armoured black man, his armour was white and baby blue with golden accents he had 2 wings pressed against his back but before he could enter, a humanoid figure speared it away.
"The hell was that" Danny said glancing at Al the. Ran towards the opening, objects fell form the sky in flaming balls and holes appeared in the ground "not now..." Danny whispered in disbelief, angels and demons were already at each other's necks, body parts flew and screems pierced the split silence through the streets. People were being ripped to shreds by unearthly creatures, hell hounds to be exact. Their pointy razor sharp teeth ripped apart cars and houses alike, their slimey charred and bloody skin looked like it was thrmned inside out.
"The apocalypse, it has begun... Pestilence, famine, if you can hear this, please stay safe. You are weak now more than ever" he said to himself, but it was an ability that allowed only the horseman to hear what the other is saying no matter what the distance "the apocalypse is upon us" he said looking at Al with a concerned look grabbing his holsters and twin scythes.

Alkilai couldn't believe his eyes, he stepped out of the car and looked on as the scourges of both heaven and hell were unleashed upon the earth. The presumed angels were attacking the denizens of hell, but they didn't really seem to take any active role in protecting the people from said hell spawns, they seemed almost neutral to the mortal beings around them. Alkilai just stood there, staring out at the mayhem, so many thoughts where running through his head; how crazy this all was, how there was no longer any way he can deny Danny's story, and most importantly, the feeling that he had to do something... that he should fight. He tried to shake the feeling off, tried to resist the urge to jump in and start bashing heads in, it was like the usual influence of his Angelic blood amplified ten fold. He resisted it so much that he even began to feel physical and emotional pain; he hated this feeling, the feeling that the choice he would make would not be his own, that all the good hearted choices in his life were just due to a need to do them, rather than just from the goodness of his heart. He looked up from his wallowing and saw a woman and her young child running from a hell hound. He stared as the girl tripped and her mother when to help her, allowing the hell hound to catch up, there was no way they could get away in time, as all this happened, one thing was running through his mind... protect them.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" he screamed in agony as he could no longer fight his own soul and dashed up to the scene, fist charged with a monstrous amount of Holy Light, as he landed a powerful punch to the hell hounds face, sending it flying backwards away from the two humans. It all happened so fast, when he looked up to his outstretched arm he was shocked to see that it was covered in chains, from the knuckles on his fist all the way up his forearm... like a gauntlet. As soon as the though crossed his mind, the chains glowed and in their place formed a brand new gauntlet, silver with angelic blue accents adorning it. He looked over to his left arm and saw that the chains on this left tattoo came to life as well and formed the same gauntlet on his left arm. He knew that this must've been what Danny was talking about, his power as the Horseman of War. He looked back at the humans, who stared at him in disbelief, but before either could say anything, another demon came at them from behind. Alkilai acted quickly and delivered an uppercut that sent it flying, this gained the attention of other nearby demons and Alkilai somehow found himself amongst the chaos of the end of the world.

Danny was quick on his toes, he shifted his feet and bolted in Al's direction. Grabbing a demon by the throat, he ripped it open and at the same time drained it's abilities. He pulled out his guns from their holsters and shot flaming red bullets at the demons doing moderate damage. He left up, slid his guns in their holsters and pulled his scythes out. He grabbed them by their chains and spun them with speed unseeable by the human eye. The spinning scythes lit up in red flames. He threw one of them at a demon piercing the blade straight into it's forehead and down it's neck then jumped over it's limp body pulling out the blade before it touched the floor.
Both his blades spun on their chains as he stood back to back against Al "it's time to see if we still got it" he said to Al with a chuckle, the demons closed in on them but Danny's bike and Al's charger came crashing out of the garage. In mid air the vehicles morphed into their horse bodies, Danny's black horse engulfed in black smoke with a skull covering it's face.
Danny whistled to it catching it's attention, the horse stampled on the heads of a few demons and hell hounds before stopping besides him.

((Yeah, sorry, just a little break, that's all))
Alkilai was somewhat surprised by the sudden transformation of his newly acquired car, but it somehow felt more natural in this state, yes, he recognized his horse. Quickly, he leaped up and landed on it, riding it while standing on it, allowing him to whack at any demon he passed by. Time flew by, it felt so natural to be fighting on horseback like this, it made him feel almost... alive. However, it didn't change the fact that his efforts were in vain, for every demon he took down it seemed like two more would take it's place, it was just too overwhelming.
"Damn it, they just keep coming, this isn't going to work." He said to himself. He would usually suggest a tactical retreat, but his angelic blood wouldn't let him abandon the battle, much to his disdain. With a grunt, he made his way back to Danny, riding up beside him. "So Danny, got any ideas on how to stop all this?"

Danny's scythe rested against his back in their sheaths as he rode alongside Alkilai, his guns drawn and dropped enemies both demons and angels alike to the ground.
Before Danny could reply to Al an Angel diving down at him caught his eye, Danny hopped up and stood on his horse as the Angel dove near, he lept up over it and grabbed one of it's wing ripping it straight from the Angel's back. The angel spiralled out of control before Danny grabbed one of his scythe's by the the chain and flung it over his head before cracking it straight down into the angel and setting it on fire.
He landed onto his horse as it shifted back into a bike then drove off beside Al "We need to go find the prophet, He needs to see something" he said to Al before leading him to the edge of town dropping both angels and demons on the way.

"Prophet, what pro...!" he began to question before narrowly blocking the swing of a sword from a demon. He grabbed the blade and pulled the beast into a punch that sent the demon flying only to be speared to a tree with its own sword. "Ah, you know what, forget it, I'll just follow you." He said as he sat down on his horse as it shifted back into its vehicle form in order to keep with Danny. As they drove more and more demons and angels attacked them, Alkilai tried his best to keep them at bay, he rolled down the window and conjured up a chain blade, throwing it out the window and mowing down enemies as best he could. He was surprised to find how simple it was, he had never used a weapon such as this in his life, and yet he was already using it in ways that shouldn't even be possible.
"So, where are we headed?" He called out to Danny as they approached the edge of town.
"So, where are we headed?" He called out to Danny as they approached the edge of town.
Danny kept his speed up, reaching the edge of town in a few minutes. They dodged the flying cars and incoming angel and demons before the silence of the desert was all they could hear wit some screams and crashes carried along the wind.
Danny's bike slowed down until they were far enough, he turned around so that he could see what he had to run from in order to save the world... this was merely the beginning. Flames and smoke rose high, buildings crashed in the distance and it hit him. He could just barely take it all in, to a point he couldn't and turned away.
"We're going to meet the prophet, he's actually not human... at all..." He said turning on the spot, his bike engine revved and he pivoted on his back wheel, black flames spiting from the exhaust. He was off once more as they drove down a lone road.
To their left as they drove down the lonely road, came a tree standing in the middle of a ruin of a town, it seemed to be a VERY small village. As Danny came to a stop at what seemed to have been the town gate, the cold breeze felt unforgiving... almost like it was alive for a moment.

Alkilai stepped out of his car, taking a moment to examine the gate and the minuscule town that laid beyond it. The cool breeze swept across the area, sending a slight chill down Alkilai's spine, his stead roaring it's engine in defiance. The village itself may as well have been a ghost town, it looked as if nobody had even so much as looked at the ruined buildings in years, and even so Alkilai couldn't help but feel as if there was a... presence in the town, albeit a small one.
"So, I'm guessing this prophet of yours is shacked up here?" he said. "Gotta say, for all powerful supernatural beings, your standard of living is a little..." He paused as part of the rustic gate chipped off and fell to the ground. "...nonexistent." He deadpanned. "So, where exactly is this guy?"

Danny stopped as the earth shook and smiled as he remembered something 'yea trust me, supernatural beings are into the rural...ish? Areas, but these guys, oh trust me, were lucky they're here' Danny said as he approached the gate 'and whatever you do, don't call it he, it's a they, a bloody cluster of souls is what it is...' Danny scrunched his nose, indicating the prophet was something that shouldn't exist at all.
He pressed his hand agains the gate and pressed in it a little before the hinges snapped and the whole gate fell to the sandy floor, a cloud of sand rose as it landed. Danny nonchalantly stepped in and stuffed his hands in his pockets, approaching a large black tree in the middle of town 'OI MESSENGER, SHOW YASELF!' Danny yelled at the tree, his tone was nothing but disrespectful, typical.
The whole town was silent for moment, the wind hissed in the cracks of building and awoke tumble weed got stuck in a door that was hanging on its hinges. The next minute the ground shook around the tree and cracks formed in a deformed circle. The sand sunk into the floor around it and out rose the roots that formed a giant hand, the tree took life, it's intimidating size grew as the giant rose out of the ground. The crater that was left was large enough to sink the whole town in. The only ground that was untouched was the one beneath their feet and all that was beyond the gate. 'Hey there sleeping beauty'

Alkilai took a few steps back as the animated tree rose from the ground, towering over the two Nephilim. Danny seemed completely unfazed by the unnatural occurrence, and Alkilai was surprised himself by how well he was taking it as well, perhaps it was the apocalyptic battle they had just partaken in or the fact that his current conciseness was becoming more and more in sync with the memories of his past as the Horseman of War, either way he found himself feeling the same sort of disgust for it that his brother did.
As it stood at its full hight the bark towards the very top began to shift and change shape, eventually creating the appearance of a human face. It's eyes and mouth opened, a ghostly light emanating from them as what seemed to be spiritual energy spilled from the openings. It tilted its "head" down to see who had awoken it from its slumber, its eyes fixing on the two Horsemen before it. Its features may have been somewhat strange and difficult to fully grasp, but it clearly had a look of contempt as it gazed at the two Nephilim.

Danny smiled devilishly at the reanimated tree 'ey old fart, how's life in the desert?' He asked looking up at the black tree's face.
'Quiet, peaceful, now with you here We don't know whether to laugh or cry, how was prison, Death?' The tree's deep voice was obvious that a cluster souls spoke at once.
'Prison was... Interesting, by the way, thanks for that old shit' Danny was slightly annoyed, he blew his hair to the side
'We had no choice, you ethereal form was deadly, you could've destroyed half the world in that form, we had to, even if god wasn't there'
'I guess' Danny shrugged
'We are sorry, we owe you, that we know and we knew that you would never live with yourself if you destroyed what your father fought for' the tree spoke but it's mouth seemed to be in one spot, not moving as it spoke.
'War and I need you help' Danny approached the tree, the tree itself lowered go him. Each step Danny took a patch of sand raised up to stop him from falling into the crater below them.
'So it has begun? We wanted to live through many years of humanities' evolution. If the time has come then it is time we say farewell' the tree spoke, Danny placed a hand on the old tree's branchy face 'Death and war, earth's true guardians, seek out the truth and follow the steps, we entrust you with the prophecy' the black tree said as Danny backed away from it, his hands In his pockets and tears in his eyes as the tree looked down at the both of them. His body split into a million black shards. Each shard turned into a soul, their Colours changing into a light blue as they all drove themselves into Danny and Alkilai.
Danny and Al's eyes changed, a circular symbol on their stomachs appeared, the symbol meant "soul well"

The conversation between the two just served to confuse Alkilai, for one thing he couldn't tell if the two beings were on good terms or not, and most of the conversation just seemed to be be them reminiscing of some past event that had nothing to do with him or the current situation as it seemed. Eventually however, they finally seemed to get back on track, the being mentioning something about a prophesy, Alkilai readied himself for some lengthy cryptic rambling but it never came, instead prophet disintegrated into millions of souls and drove into their guts. Alkilai didn't feel any pain, or at least, that wasn't the primary feeling, there was some sort of sensory overload as the strange circular symbol was engraved in his abdomen, feeling pain, pleasure, discomfort, nausea, and all other bodily feelings all at once. Once it was finally over, Alkilai needed a moment to catch his breath and wrap his mind around what just happened.
"What the... what just happened, what about the prophesy?" he inquired.
"What the... what just happened, what about the prophesy?" he inquired.
The town began to rewind but Danny and Alkilai were not. The building returned to their old ruined selves and the gate lay on the floor as Danny had left it, all except for the tree that was in the centre. It seemed to have gone for good. Danny placed a gentle hand on his "soul well" as the souls entered him one by one, the feeling of power surged his body like he'd been given a great high! He shivered as the last soul entered and dusted his jacket 'damn that felt good!' Danny said shaking his head and turning to Al.
'This symbol is also part of who you were, we are horsemen yes, guardians, yes but when a soul from either sides decides to face us for a reason that goes against humanity' he tapped the soul well symbol on his abdomen 'we soak it up and save it for epic moves that will strike fear into any opposing angels or demons' Danny grabbed his dagger scythes by their chains and spun them with speed that made then look like a blur. His soul well symbol started to glow a faint green and his blades began to float by themselves, they continued to spin at his sides 'but be careful, you need to keep stocking on souls to keep dishing out the power, the more souls you have, the longer the duration of each ability. If you go into horseman form then make sure you have a lot of souls accumulated otherwise your the soul well will but you back with debt and I promise it WILL hurt' the blades stopped spinning as he took them by their chains.
'As for the prophecy, he gave it to us... We have to find the arch angel Michael and the devil... Spa... Wait... My father!?' He felt like the tree had been wrong, his father's supposed to be dead 'we have to find Sparta... My dead father...' He was in shock, his mind tried to wrap itself around the fact that... His dead father... Is alive
