"An excadrill. A fine pokeomen but now I think I will go with this." Rayn pulls a pokeball of his belt. "Go breloom." He yelled then the green grass fighting type appeared. "Breloom." The pokemon yelled it's name and stood proud. "Now then use stun spore then leap up and get into the trees." Rayn commanded. The breloom jumped into the air and shook it's tail. A thick cloud of yellow pollen fell over the Excadrill to paralyze it. With this done it leaped into the tree's. Rayn was no fool he knew the Excadrill was strong on the ground so being off the ground would give him and breloom the advantage.

"Excadrill, use Dig!" Nick commanded. Excadrill burrowed into the ground, narrowly avoiding the Stun Spore. "This guy's no push over, the trees are a perfect place for him to hide, being a grass type means it would be at home in the trees, getting up there to battle it would be suicide." He thought to himself, thinking of his next move. After a moment, it clicked. "...Guess I'll just have to bring it down here."

"Alright, Excadrill, Fissure!" He exclaimed. Excadrill popped out of the ground with that command but immediately dug his claw right back in, causing a large crack to open in the earth. Nick knew the attack wouldn't hit, but that wasn't his intention, the Fissure took out the trees directly in front of Excadrill, including the one Breloom was in, forcing it to come out.

"Okay, first clue is the powerful Pokemon in the middle of the lake. Check."

The attack landed, but once the smoke cleared, Jerry's quick fingers switched out his Wobbuffet to absorb the attack and throw it back. Sadly, it was not enough to take down the serpent. "Well, I was hoping that would do more damage. This is gonna hurt a lot, isn't it?"

"Breloom don't give him any time to react get in the fissure he made and hit him with a force palm." Rayn said. The breloom leaped down the hole and charged the excadrill. With it's palm open he came face to face with him and fired the built up energy. The fact it was both fighting and a non physical move meant the damage would be immense. "Clever move taking out the tree. But next time you should try not to brake the scenari. Remember there would be people or other pokemon around." Rayn said waving his finger with a smirk.

"Excadrill, save yourself with Dig!" Nick said. As Excadrill was sent flying back, it regained it's composure in the air and dug into the earth. "Now, Metal Claw!" With that, Excadrill popped up behind Breloom before it had any time to react and landed two good slashes with its metallic claws. "Good job, now dig to retreat!"

"More than likely..." Bruno being a selfish person and quick thinker grabbed Jerry and attempted to use him as a meat shield.

((TO EVERY ONE) A huge storm started to pick up wind was blowing over the land making the trees rock back and forth thunder and lighting shoot across the sky the waves in the sea waves were tossing back and forth gitting bigger and bigger (it was on safe in the sea for any ship much less voyage by water type and the wind and srom was so strong that nothing dared to fly in this storm)

(to Atlas Storm) Lord Redneval laughs at you then pulls out what seemed like a pokeball Only not a modern day pokeball it seemed to be made from black obsidian with gold edgings and symbols and in the middle it had a small glowing purple gem "COME AND BATTLE Rorrim!" he throws the ball and out came . . . .? (you could not quite make it out it was some kind of massive shadowy blurr *he snaps his finger and to your horror it slowly to the shape of a Steelix made out of pure black darkness other then the darkness it look the same as your Steelix

A storm had hit seemingly from nowhere, This caused the Gyarados to grow in its rage, it reared its massive head back and started to charge up a Hyper beam.

"It was nice knowing ya Jerry" Bruno said with fear in his voice. The Gyarados launched the Hyper beam the two both Braced for impact. Bruno waited for the pain but nothing could be felt, Bruno looked up to find that his Tyrantrum King had protected them with a Hyper beam of his own, Crush and Goliath were standing below King, Crush launching an Ice beam and Goliath a Thunder bolt.

The three working in perfect unity to protect from the Gyarados.

The massive sea monster took the assault, buffeted by the attacks and needing to recharge. Jerry knew this Pokemon's tendencies, and had to act fast to protect himself and Gyaridos. "Return, Maraca." Here recalled his Wobbuffet. "Go G-Watt! Hit 'im with Thunder Wave!" Jerry let out his Raichu, which let out it's electrical pulse, paralyzing the great monster and sending it crashing back down into the lake. "We should leave it alone for now. I don't feel good about catching a Pokemon after quadroople teaming it like that. Come on, let's check this place out."

Atlas had to think fast if he was going to get lady rose and himself to safety, "Steelix, crunch!" The giant snake rushed at its dark shadowy double. It bit hard into the evil foe. It threw the abyssal beast against the ground, "Follow with iron tail!" The tail glowed and slammed into the head of the black matter monster shattering its face into the ground!

"What the hell?" Atlas was surprised, he didn't know it would be that easy, or was it really that easy. If this Pokemon was more like ditto then like Steelix he could potentially shatter under the attack and just repair himself. "Were not out of the woods yet Steelix, be ready for anything"

Lord Redneval laughs "AAHhh HA HA you did't think it would be that easy did you?"
Dark Steelix used Payback (Power doubles if the user was attacked first) then (became like a dark mist and reformed behind your Steelix it's eyes glow bright purple
"Rerun the favor!"
it quickly used crunch back biting in to it's neck then using iron tail in the same way you used it only more empower do to Payback! it slams your Steelix in to the ground then rapped around it and started choking it mercilessly as it continuously bite it in the neck"
Lord Redneval yells out "DON'T STOP UNTIL HE'S DEAD!"


(you don't know this but right now tel-porting won't work because of the dark storm )

"Your right, lets move!" Bruno yelled to his team Goliath and Crush returned to their pokeballs but King refused, Staring out into the lake he growled. As if he wanted to finish the battle.

"King come on!" Bruno yelled at the giant pokemon which just tightened its gaze at the lake, King snorted and followed Bruno still watching the lake.

"Hang in there Steelix!" Atlas opened another pokeball releasing his Salamence. He tossed his weakened pokemon to Gallade, "GO! Umbella Town is only a short flight away," Atlas sighed, "stay above the dark storm and get everyone to the Pokemon center!" Gallade took the satchel with the wounded pokemon only leaving Atlas with three, and took Lady Rose on the Salamence's back. "Alert the authorities Gallade! Salamence, Defog! Then Fly!"

The defog cleared a small opening in the dark storm and they escaped upward. Atlas smiled he wasn't exactly positive that would work but it did. Unfortunately without Blastoise or Salamemce he was now trapped on the island. A pulse hit Atlas's head, it was Gallade letting him know they had gotten away. "Steelix earthquake!" The shadow Steelix shattered again, "How do you feel buddy?" Determination filled it's thum' as it roared it's name, he was ready to fight!

*the dark storm would slowly grow up higher and higher coming after Gallade leaving him with 2 choices 1 keep flying up witch would take him up so high he would likely freeze or fly in the storm)
Steelix and dark Steelix keep battling seemingly eavenly matched all ways using the same moves how ever Dark Steelix could heal it self your Steelix at some point he would be worn out

dusknoir comes out once more demanding to fight

Atlas's head pulsed he was let aware of the Dark storm growing upward and outward, but it was only stretched out to the far reaches of the island, Salamemce was a fast flying Pokemon and he would pass the edges of the dark storm before it forced him any higher. Still it was concerning how this man was so powerful. But that's when he realized, even darkness had a foe!

"Flash Cannon!" The light tore threw the dark Steelix and broke his pieces up. Atlas rejoiced for a moment. This had done a lot of damage but it was still healing! Slower because of the light but healing none the less. Atlas's eyes shot to the black and gold ball that the mysterious man held, "iron tail! Smash the stone ball!" The Steelix's tail came down hard towards the man hitting the stone to the ground smashing it!

A screech was let out as the darkness was wiped away, "what's next mad man? I know your weakness now!" Atlas returned his Steelix, who was extremely tired from the battle. "You did we'll Steelix."

(by this time Steelix would be very weekend with every very little fight left in him
"You think I only have the one?"
*he pulls out another black ball*
"Go Darkrai! END IT!"


Darkrai fly's out and attacks he uses Nasty Plot Dark Pulse then shadow ball slamming it in to Steelix's face knocking it out

After a short walk past the lake, they came across was looked like a man-made cliff. "The heck is this?" Carts, rails, tunnels carved into the bottom of the cliff. "Holy cow. This is a mine of some sort. I'm surprised the lake is so clean from all this digging over here." Jerry took another look at the condition of the equipment. "Hmm, actually, this stuff looks like it's been abandoned.

The Raichu's cheeks started sparking suddenly, which seemed to confuse the large mouse. "Odd. I wonder what's doing that." He let out his Togekiss again. "I know I've been playing Musical Pokemon all day, but we gotta get down to the bottom of the cliff to see what's going on." Jett cooed and let its trainer onto its back. "You coming, Bruono?"

((Nope! Still no actual plan of any sort! Just plain old winging it!))

((OCC: Steelix had been returned already. Also I already battled a Darkrai, Melodia has it... But if it's a black ball I think it's another shadow guy again so nvm about that lol))

Atlas jumped out of the way of the shadows attacks. The Darkrai even hit him with a shadow ball in the face. "What the hell!" The attacks were all called as he returned his Steelix, maybe the guy was trying to knock Steelix out before he could have returned him. Atlas struggled to stand after the attack hit him.

"I know why you don't have any real Pokemon!" Atlas wiped blood from his mouth, "cause you are incapable of real power! Friendship, the ability to protect what you care about, that's real power." Atlas only had two Pokemon left other then Steelix left, "and your fake Pokemon will never, live you to mine!"

Atlas pushed a button on his pokeball and threw out his Luxray, "Luxray! Show this fool what a real battle is!! Electric Terrain!!!"
