"Not so fast Gallade use teleport." Rayn told his pokemon. Then the psychic fighter disappeared and appeared behind glalie. Teleport was an instant move. Not damage dealing but more then effective at escape. "Now hit him with focus blast again." Rayn said. The gallade fired another blue orb that made contact. The explosion would leave large damage on the glalie and thanks to teleport gallade was safe. The area that was hit by sheer cold was frozen nearly completely solid. The grass and dirt rendered completely frozen. "Not bad but that's why I have teleport. For dire situations."

Nick had to admit, it was a good dodge, but Glalie wasn't out yet. "Glalie, Ice Beam." he called out. Glalie was spinning in the air as a result of the blast, so as Glalie used Ice Beam, the entire field was frozen solid, ground, trees, and rocks alike, even if Gallade wasn't hit it would no longer have any solid footing. Glalie used the force from the Ice Beam to regain it's composure in the air. They weren't done yet, Nick still had a trick left to use. "Now Glalie, Protect Headbutt!" Glalie propelled itself towards the fumbling Gallade, and upon reaching top speed it used Protect, cloaking itself in the same green force field. Glalie collided with Gallade, the Protect greatly increasing the Headbutt's power, causing major damage. After the attack, Glalie kept the protect up, in case of any retaliations.
Bruno (played by Warwick)

Bruno motioned for Riot to toss him onto Balduig and it did, the Braviary pushed the Togekiss to hurry itself up. The Garchomp nearly caught them in its teeth, Bruno could feel the pokemons breath on his back and he could feel the teeth run down his trench coat.
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

The sound of teeth gnashing and a defying roar screamed out over the sound of the red thunder, "hello?" Thorne yelled a bit louder as he began walking through the moth of the tunnel, "anyone in here?" he drew a flash light from his suit pocket, clicking it on. This isn't good, I swore I heard yelling in here but the thunder is too loud, He thought to himself as he ventured deeper and deeper into it, unknowingly heading straight for Bruno and Jerry.

Gallade was knocked back but the head butt was shaken off. "Gallade use feint." Rayn yelled. Gallade's blades began to glow as he slammed into the glalie's protect. Feint was a move that broke through protect to deal large damage to the target. That accompanied by the attack from focus blast would surely defeat the glalie. After all these attacks gallade would of lost no more then one third of his health. "Excellent work gallade." Rayn congratulated his pokemon. The gallade stood tall and proud while remain on guard.
Jerry Jay (played by ConnanBell)

Jerry had a choice to make. Would he fight on for the sake of this tablet he knew nothing about, putting his friends at risk against a force he also knew nothing about?

No. He would not.

Jerry tumbled to one side and held the tablet above his head. "Hey, Godzilla! Over here!" The Garchomp turned its glowing green eyes on Jerry. "You want it?" He chucked it into the whole from where the Garchomp rose. "Go get it!"

The colossal Pokemon turned and dove back into the hole, giving off a low rumbling in the earth around it. Slowly, though, it grew more and more faint before stopping completely.

Silence. Cold, heavy silence.

"No, Glalie!" Nick cried as he watched his friend fall to ground. Nick wasn't expecting Feint, it was generally useless attack, but it worked wonders on Pokemon that relied a lot on Protect and Detect, such as his Glalie. "Glalie, return, you did great, you deserve a nice rest." Nick was a little unsure of himself at the moment, the loss was somewhat disappointing, but he remembered that it was only his first lost Pokemon, now they both only had two Pokemon left, it wasn't over yet. "Alright, Excadrill, one more time!" He called out his Excadrill again, it's stamina was replenished by the short rest, but the damage was still evident, he'd have to be careful. "Now, Drill Run, go!" He commanded immediately, without giving Gallade a chance to react Excadrill landed a successful Drill Run, the critical hit doing great damage, closing the gap between their health. The Ice Field was still in effect, and while Excadrill was a ground type, its sharp claws on its hands and feet gave it enough traction to move around without much trouble, the same couldn't be said for Gallade unfortunately.
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

A silence filled the cave but Thorne wasn't much for the ominous jazz like this, "hello?" There was a dim light at the end of the tunnel, a lamp maybe? Could be a flash light, a Pokemon, or a hole in the cave as well. Thorne prepared one of his pokeballs to be thrown if it was a wild pokemon. "Someone answer me!" He yelled tearing through the silence.
Bruno (played by Warwick)

Bruno thought about how King was defeated by the Garchomp, he was dumbfounded by the idea. Balduig could sense it as well, the Braviary tried to cheer his master up by singing like a song bird however being a Braviary singing was one of the few things Balduig wasn't all that great at doing.

"Hey Jerry, What do you think that tablet was so special for? Why was the Garchomp protecting it, and how did it become so large and powerful?" Bruno asked with a melancholy tone still in disbelief that his Tyrantrum had been bested.
Jerry Jay (played by ConnanBell)

"No clue, man. It could be any number of things. All I know is that I don't wanna face something like that again anytime soon." Jerry stood up and stretched his back. "Okay, guys, you've earned a rest." Jerry recalled his Pokemon and flopped down into the grass. "Hoo! I told ya we'd get some training done." Jerry noted Bruno's melancholy mood and offered him a smile. "Hey, it's not so bad. It's good to know your limits and learn to overcome them in the future."

Gallade was knocked back by the attack. The drill run did average damage thanks to it's critical hit but gallade was far from beaten. "Gallade hit him with your focus blast." The gallade fired of it's third focus blast for the day. The fact it was a fighting type move meant it would do good damage but the fact it was also a special non physical attack meant the damage would be even greater as excadrill do not have strong special defense. "Good work gallade now return." Rayn said retrieving his pokemon. "Let's continue with this team." He said releasing breloom. Breloom was nearly at a good half health thanks to it's small rest. "Dodge it's next move then use stun spore." He said already planning his next attack.
Darik Sharpe (played anonymously)

He finally reached the end of the cave there was a lot of rubble and some Pokemon along with two trainers, "you two! What happened here?" Thorne inquired, "how did the cave fall apart?" He minimized his pokeball, he only had one Pokemon that he traveled with. These boys didn't seem to be a threat to him so he pocketed his pal and approached to speak with them, and to gather more info.

"Redirect it with Metal Claw!" Nick said. Excadrill hardened its claws and pushed off the Focus Blast, the lack of traction on the ice allowing him to easily redirect it. However, rather than push it off to the side, Excadrill continued to push on it with its claws, turning the balls forward momentum into angular momentum. Excadrill spun wildly all around their side of the field, spinning faster and faster with each passing second. Rayn called back his Gallade and brought his Breloom back out. "Alright, do it!" Nick commanded, and with that Excadrill stopped it's spinning and threw the Focus Blast towards Breloom. The grass/fighting type did as its trainer instructed and while it was able to dodge the redirected attack, the icy floor made it fumble a bit. This delay was just what Nick needed. "Drill Run, now!" Nick exclaimed the moment Breloom began to stagger. In seconds, Excadrill rammed into Breloom with Drill Run before it could pull off its Stun Spore. The two slid across the icy floor until they collided with a frozen tree, the type advantage may have been in Breloom's favor, but the sheer force and power of the Drill Run was enough to get the job done.
Bruno (played by Warwick)

Bruno hopped up as this new trainer approached "Hold it right there!" Bruno shouted with authority he reached from his belt and grabbed a pokeball.

"We just had a pretty strange string of events happen to us and most of our team is wiped out, but I still have one of my enforcers here with me if your looking for a fight." Bruno said as he sent Static from his pokeball.

The Electivire looked at the trainer and released a small electrical charge over himself, he then looked at Jerry and then back to Bruno.

Static yawned and sat down lowering his head, it was silent then the sound of snoring broke the silence. "Ok! My team is now entirely wiped out!" Bruno said with disappointed anger as he watched his Electivire fall asleep on duty.

"So what do you want?" Bruno asked the trainer somewhat expecting another random act of goofyness which had become common place since he hooked up with Jerry.
Jerry Jay (played by ConnanBell)

"Easy, Bruno, our guys are way out of energy." Jerry turned to the man in front of them. "There are huge, monstrous Pokemon here. We only just managed to beat a Gyaridos in that lake over there, but we were no match for this crazy Garchomp digging around in that canyon. Two wild Pokemon nearly destroyed us and our Pokemon. We think they were protecting some kind of ancient tablet."

"Breloom get up." Rayn said. Breloom brought itself to it's feet. "Breloom." It said with pant. "This wasn't looking good breloom would be on around 7% health thanks to his type advantage narrowly saving him. "Breloom hit him with a drain punch and take out this excadrill." Rayn told him. Breloom generated energy in it's fist and thanks to how close his target was hitting was easy. The impact blew excadrill back and thanks to the ice giving him a extra spinning momentum it landed a powerful and lethal critical hit. How ever breloom only regained enough health to put him at about 11% so with his next opponent he would surly fall from one hit. "That was annoying." Rayn said the area frozen and broken apart as his opponents pokemon laid there knocked out.

"Excadrill!" Nick cried, that was his second Pokemon down, with that Rayn was officially in the lead. However, Breloom was nearly down, if he could finish it off quickly, then all he would have to deal with is Gallade. "Return Excadrill... alright, it's all up to you Infernape, I'm counting on you!" Nick said as he called out his last Pokemon. Infernape was still fighting fit, Nick figured that if he was smart, he could still have a chance to take this battle. "Alright Infernape, finish this guy off with Mach Punch!" Nick commanded, while a type advantage move like Flame Wheel would've been a good choice as well, he didn't want to take any chances of it missing, so he went with the move that was more likely to hit. Infernape rushed up to Breloom in half a second and landed a devastating punch, depleting what was left of its health. Nick let out a sigh of relief at this. "It's not over yet."

Breloom fell to the ground with a thud however it's ability activated after infernape made contact. This released a small amount of yellow dust which acted the same as stun spore. The infernapes move left him paralyzed. "Looks like you didn't think about breloom's special power." Rayn said returning breloom. "But your infernape would of taken quiet a bit of damage from that hyper beam and colliding with the rocks. So let's finish this. Gallade come out and deal with this." He said releasing the speedy pokemon gallade. The fact he was a psychic type gave him the advantage and his fighting type attributes meant the main damage would come from his fire type moves. "Gallade use psycho cut." With the effects of breloom's effect spore rendering infernape paralyzed he would be unable to dodge or react. Gallade's blades began to glow blue and with a swish of both arms two blades flew at infernape. The damage would be high as infernape are capable of dealing damage but their defensive capabilities where rather lacking especially against psychic moves.

"Dodge it!" Nick commanded, and to their surprise it in fact evaded the attack. Infernape may have been paralyzed, but that didn't guarantee immobilization, especially when it was still fresh. "Flame Wheel, go!" With Gallade in such close range, the attack made contact, causing some decent damage. "Now quickly, create some distance with Rock Climb!" Nick instructed. Infernape summoned a cliff edge, ridding the field of its icy coat, now Nick had complete control of the battle field. Whether the Gallade tried to climb up the cliff, or teleported up there, Nick knew exactly where it would be coming from, but he still had the paralysis to worry about, this was not going to be easy.
Prophet of Truth (played by Dreath)

Gallade was hit by the flame wheel but took it rather well. "Gallade use focus blast where you are." Gallade fired a focus blast at the rock pillar. This caused it to collapse and made infernape lose balance and fall. " Now hit him mid air with psycho cut." With this gallade fired his psychic move hitting his opponent mid air. The infernape suffered a critical hit. "Now when he launches an attack use teleport." With this said the next attack would be dodged with teleport and gallade would be in a new unknown location giving him the element of surprise. After the flame wheel gallade was left with around 60% health and infernape would be in the 30% mark.

"Mach Punch, Go!" Nick said. Infernape quickly recovered and unleashed the attack. Mach Punch was a move that always went first, no matter what, and so Gallade was unable to use Teleport in time and was hit with the attack, and while it didn't cause much damage, Nick didn't really intend for it too. "Now grab it and use Flame Wheel!" Before Rayn could react, Infernape grabbed onto Gallade and engulfed them both in flames, Infernape was safe because it was his attack, but Gallade took major damage. It rolled on the ground, dragging the Pokemon along with it adding to the damage. "Throw it!" Infernape complied, dissipating the flames and throwing Gallade away from him, if anything just to get some distance.
