The mach punch did minimum damage and the flame wheel was a decent tactic. Gallade didn't take much damage as he was inside the flame wheel so he took less damage then if he was hit by it. "Gallade use teleport and hit him with psycho cut." With this Gallade teleported above infernape and bombed it with four rapidly fired psycho cuts. With this surprise move infernape would be caught by surprise and suffer large damage. With the area filled with dust gallade landed and kicked the infernape forward as it did a back flip and landed. Gallade was a highly athletic pokemon with great power and speed. Gallade would be around the 30% mark and infernape would be extremely low if he was even still able to battle. Gallade showed signs of tiredness with pants but was still standing ready.

"Dodge with Rock Climb!" Nick instructed, Infernape may have been caught of guard, but Nick sure wasn't, he was expecting him to do something like this, so he was ready. Three of the Psycho Cuts hit the pillar of rocks, but the last managed to land its mark. "Mach Punch quick!" He said, but Infernape couldn't, the paralysis was beginning to take effect. This allowed Gallade to kick Infernape away, but his physical prowess allowed him to easily recover. Sparks began to emanate from Infernape, the paralysis having finally settled in. "Damn, this isn't good, at this rate..." Nick began, things looking bleak, but suddenly, Infernape began glowing with a bright red aura, all signs of fatigue leaving him. 'Wait a minute, that's blaze!' Nick said in his head. With the extra power boost, Infernape fought through the paralysis, looking battle ready. 'Alright, we're both low on HP, he has a type advantage, but I have a power boost and a speed advantage, it's going to be close.' Nick prepared himself, ready for anything.

"Ok then let's end this." Rayn said with a passion. "Flame wheel." Nick said as infernape went on the charge. "Gallade psycho cut." Gallade drew his arms back and as infernape got right up close much to his knowledge he fired. Infernape managed to hit but so did gallade. Both pokemon fell to the ground as the explosion cleared the air. The dust cleared revealing gallade and infernape on the ground both fainted. Rayn looked at this with a shocking smirk. "Well. Looks like a tie." He says bringing back gallade. "Your good. So what made you battle me?"

"Infernape!" Nick cried with concern. He was somewhat hoping for him to get back up, but unfortunately he was fainted, no energy left for battle. Nick let out a solemn sigh but then let out a smile. "Sorry buddy, guess I just could pull a win out of my hat this time around." he said to his tired friend. "Return, you deserve a good rest." he said as he called Infernape back to his Pokeball. It was then that he heard Rayn's question.

"Well, I saw your battle with Storm, and I was a little disappointed by how it ended, you seemed like a strong trainer and I wanted to see you in a full out battle, so I thought, why not?" He replied. "But man, you're really strong, I was pretty lucky to pull off a tie. You know, I think if you had a three on three with Storm, you would've given him a lot more trouble. Well, thanks for the battle, I gotta get to a Pokemon center, then off to challenge that Tent, later." He said before returning to town.

"Well thanks." Rayn says as he runs off. With a stern look he followed him. Inside the pokemon center he got his pokemon healed. With them being looked after he approached Nick. "Hey." He says announcing himself. "I was wondering something. You are a good trainer and I would love to see some more of your tactics. So would you like to come off and train with me? Not necessarily now but I am heading to seribro island off the coast of Hoenn. It is a lush island where I went to train a while back. You see this tournament is not what I need at the moment. I came across something I need to do so when your ready just do it." He asked his friend. "Here. Take this. It will give you a free trip to the island. I hope to see you there." With this he smiled, collected his pokemon and went off to the boat.

"Alright, thanks, we'll see." Nick said as he bid farewell to the trainer. The offer was tempting, he was always up for some good training, but he had worked hard for the tournament, and he was going to see it through till the end. He pocketed the ticket and retrieved his Pokemon from the nurse. With that he took off, leaving the Pokemon Center and making his way to his next challenge. "Alright, if I remember correctly, the two other places I can get badges from are the Tent, and the Manor. Hmm, the tent's right over there, so I guess I'll go there next." He walked on over to the big circus tent, this was his first destination upon arriving on the island, but it was unavailable for battles at the time, but with the tournament already well underway, he hoped he could battle the leader this time. "Um, hello, I'm back, can I battle this time?" He asked as he slipped through the entrance.

Thorne looked around, "my name is detective Thorne, I studied under Looker in Kalos but my home is in Unova." He looked around and confirmed their story with a nod, then he took out his notebook and began to scribble something down. He then looked up, "I came here to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a trainer named Storm? His Pokemon are very worried for him." He gestured to the two pokeball a on his belt. "His Salamence helped me get here and I may need help finding him... Something seems shady about this whole tournament and this dark storm."

He continued to scribble stuff down, "I'd get your Pokemon healed ASAP, care to assist me in uncovering what ever this competition is hiding?"

Atlas's unconscious body had been moved to the dark layer of the man who had created the dark storm. Atlas was still trapped in his nightmare and could escape it. It was like a coma and Luxray was in one too. Laying right next to him, she was unable to wake up as well. Steelix was basically knocked out and the rest of his Pokemon were able to escape the island, or at least he hoped they were. But wait he still had one more pokeball on him. Untouched, could this last Pokemon feel his masters pain? Could he realize he was Atlas's only hope at the moment?? And most important of all, how long had he been trapped in this nightmare???

Atlas would see lord Redneval appear before him holding his beloved Lady in his arms "do you want to see her alive? yes? then do as I say! 1 you must not tell another soul about what you have seen and 2! you must win the contest do you understand?

Bruno pondered the idea for a few seconds and then made a rushed decision. "Sure, why not. It should be better than the craziness Jerry just got me into." With that Bruno stood up and extended his hand for a handshake.

"Awe, come on! It wasn't that bad, and we got to see some crazy awesome stuff! Besides, we got out of it okay, even out Pokemon are going to get stronger out of having gone through something like this." Jerry stood up and stretched his back. "But yeah, I think a break would be in order for us. Count me on on the investigation! Any chance to make something awesome happen, am I right?"

the ring master steeps out of the shadows a devilish smile on his plan white face as always (the ring master was dressed as you might think any ring master would dress in a dark red suet with a large red top hat his skin was pail white and his hair was dark black had a a moon shaped scar over his left eye)
he bows "welcome welcome good sir indeed you may just step right up! and chose your first Pokemon!"

"I will win and I will destroy you..." Atlas woke up, still trapped some sort of room. In the manor perhaps or maybe another location. He looked down and saw his Luxray, he shook his poor Pokemon awake but she was still shivering with fear. Storm returned his Pokemon, "I'm so sorry Lux." He looked around trying the door but it was locked. How was he supposed to win if he was trapped in the room? Also his Steelix was still badly injured and his Luxray was definitely in no mood to fight. He only had one Pokemon left with him. "Go Magmortar!" He looked at the door, "Fire punch!!!"

Thorne nodded, "as a detective and not a trainer I myself only have one pokemon, and however strong we train I don't think we can handle every rogue trainer here yet to mention the master mind behind this operation." He put his journal away as he lead the two out of the cave, "first off do you know who is in charge here?" Thorne had seen some signs about a ring master but he wasn't sure if that guy was in charge. "Think they'd be in that big tent looking thingy??" He asked as they stepped outside.

"All I know is whoever is stirring up all this trouble is gonna get set straight... After all it did take a gigantic garchomp to beat King and you can ask Jerry just how strong Static is when he needs to be." Bruno boasted about his team with an ear to ear grin, his cocky nature had returned to him.

"So umm... does this mean we are secret agents now or something? Oh! Can we each get a cool codename? I think Jerry's code name should be The silver Slowpoke." Bruno laughed as he mocked Jerry.

"I wouldn't know who's in charge. I thought it was that crazy champion guy person thing. But hey! We got Pokemon and they got skills and I've always wanted to be a secret agent!" Jerry poses dramatically, and his Bearctic releases a bunch of cold "steam" that spills out all around him as Jerry quickly dawns a dark cape and wide-brimmed hat. "I am, agent Arpeggio, the musical mystery man!"

Nick was somewhat stunned by the ringmaster's strange appearance and way of speaking. However, with his challenge accepted, he had no time to worry about such a thing. "Alright, go, Gliscor!" He announced as he brought out the uniquely colored Pokemon (it's shiny). It exclaimed its name in anticipation, ready for battle. "Alright Gliscor, keep on your toes, this guy may be Elite Four strong for all we know." He said to the Pokemon, it grunting in confirmation.

Thorne studies their faces for a moment, "Temporary Agent Latios," he smiled at Bruno before turning to Jerry, "and Temporary Agent Latias!" He was feeling quite content with these code names. Looking around he assessed the area. "One of you check out the mention and the other will check out the tent!" He wanted to stress the fact that this could get dangerous, he remembered the look in Gallade's eyes and the force that Salamence flew to get back here.

"This is a dangerous mission, please be ready for anything!" Detective Thorne took a step towards the small town with the big tent in it. "Something I've learned is the more you start poking your nose around like a Granbull the more Beedrill you run into." He began to walk towards the tent. His plan was to interview trainers in town while his two Temp. Agents did the battling and scoping. "Meet at the Pokemon center in three hours! If you don't return well assume something happened..." Thorne looked out over the island from where the three stood at the mouth of the cave, it was time to take down Redneval.

Atlas reached into his pocket and withdrew his badge case from the competition, the Mansion Badge say next to the one he got from Melodia. "One more to go," Atlas grunted in anger returning his Magmortar. He hadn't remembered actually recieving the badge but all that meant was that all he had to do was beat one more trainer and he would be able to take on the ring master again. This however wasn't his biggest concern, he seemed to be in the basement of the Mansion right now.

It was time to do some digging, how was the man creating the dark entities that could mold into Pokemon? He opened a room and saw a Pokemon healing station, "thank Arceus!" He put his Pokemon into it and waited a few minutes, he knew these station cured all status problems and gave them a bit of energy but without going to a full in Pokemon center they wouldn't be up to par yet. He was relying on Magmortar for now.

He began to search around poking his nose into rooms but nothing yet. But their was something in here he could use. He just knew it!
