"Yes, we did it, we won!" Nick exclaimed in joy. Infernape cheered as well, proud of it's victory. "You were great Infernape, thank you so much." he then returned the flaming monkey back to it's Pokeball. Nick turned to his opponent and walked up to him. "That was a great battle dude, that Beartic was petty strong, I'm actually surprised we managed to pull it off. Good battle." he extended his hand out for Jerry to shake, hoping there were no hard feelings.
Jerry took Nick's hand. "It really was! I really look forward to battling you again." He smiled with a fire in his eyes. "But don't expect to win so easily next time. I've learned a lot from this battle." Jerry's Raichu created a dramatic lightning effect behind him.
"Uh... yeah, looking forward to it." He said as he sweat dropped. With that he took the star badge he won from the trainer and put it in his case. "Just three more battles, and I pass the preliminaries." he said. His attention was then brought to the battle that was just wrapping up next to them, and he was surprised to see who one of the participants were. "Whoa, no way, Storm?"
(seeing that every was was signed up the ring master went back inside his tent ready for any trainer to battle)
Stoutland charged at Blastoise, "Thunder Fang!" The Pokemon jumped and bit the turtle Pokemon hard, electrocuting it with its teeth! "How do you like that boy?"
The Stoutland clung onto Blastoise, "Thunder Fang once more!"
And again electrical energy surged threw the big blue Pokemon, this time with greater force! Melodia knew Storm's Blastoise was strong but how much more of this could he take?

Blastoise had been training dealing with electric attacks but nothing like this, he could use Iron Defense followed by Rapid Spin to deflect incoming shocks but thick Thunder Fang sunk deep into his arm. "Rapid Spin," A possibly paralized Blastoise jumped up and into its shell spinning around and around and by the time the second Thunder Fang hit, Blastoise was at full speed! Stoutland had been spun around so fast it was thrown off most likely becoming dizzy from the attack, Blastoise slowed to a stop, "Iron Defense!" Storm called, "and prepare to spin if he starts running at you again!"
Melodia
"Stoutland return," Melodia knew she was beat, she tossed the little badge thing to her conqueror, "well played."
The woman walked away mostly out of shame, Darkrai was her ace in the whole beaten by a teenager. She vanished into the Pokemon center, she had a lot of training to do.

ooc what did I miss?"
"Return Blastoise," Storm took his Pokemon back into it's ball, he had been ready for a real competition not an amateurs ball game. Hopefully the lunar badge would be more of a challenge, you know what would be fun... His travels had gained him experience and rusted badges, but he had only trained Pokemon, but that's only part of the processes, you have to be able to train the trainer how to battle. Being a coach, now that would be something to think about, scout out the weakest trainer here and teach him or her how to truly be the very best.
Nick was good, and so was Jerry even though he had lost, but how was Rayn? "Hey Rayn," Storm walked over to the boy, "One v. One me, if you win..." Storm held out his badge case, "I'll give you both my badge and Melodia's, if you lose..." Storm was silent as an evil looking grin appeared on his face, "You leave the island and never come back." He wouldn't actually make the kid do this, but he did want the boy to risk it all and battle one hundred percent. Could this be the kid he wanted to train?

Rayn had been watching the battle when he heard Atlas's request to battle. "Well I don't think I will be leaving this island even if I lose. So right here? Or would you prefer to battle somewhere else?" He said. The way he was called 'kid' annoyed him. He was eighteen and looked it too. But he took it as innocent enough.
"That wasn't the challenge," Storm laughed, "But if your not up to it I'll find someone with more fire in their heart, Jerry perhaps, that random guy over there?" Storm was attempting to edge Rayn on, he was always like this, "If you want to be the best some times you have to risk it all," Storm walked out past trainers and towards the dock where the ferry was preparing to leave, "Hold the boat captain," he lied, "We've got one more passenger."
Rayn crocked his head down and laughed. "Smartass." He said under his breath. "Fine if I lose I will leave the island. So shall we get this show on the road?If you want to test me that bad we can go three on three?" He asked with a little laugh.
"That won't be necessary, I only need to use on Pokemon to test your strength," Storm laughed as the two stood on the dock next to the ferry, "You go a head boy, choose who ever you like." Storm was eager to get this show on the road, but he wasn't looking for a battle of types. In fact if the trainer used a grass or ice type he wouldn't use his fire. If the trainer used a water or flying type he didn't want to counter with electric. This was a test to see the trainer not the Pokemon.
"Hm. Very well." Rayn said grabbing a pokeball. "Zoroark let's take care of business." He said as the elegant yet brutal looking pokemon appeared. It was a large black fox slash wolf like creature. "Zoor." The creature cried as it stood tall. It was a rather tall pokemon standing around five and a half feet. And it's claws were no laughing matter either. "So then let's see what you got?" Rayn said smirking.
"Luxray, your up!" Tossing a pokeball into the air, a beautiful black maned Pokemon appeared, "She's been itching for a battle all day, and I finally get to use her." The Pokemon growled its name toward the Zoroark, even though Storm was born in Jotoh, he had spent most of his time in the Orre region, because of the wider variety of Pokemon there. "Lets see how you work under pressure boy, Electric Terrain!" The Luxray's paws glowed with a thick golden yellow and spots in the docks wood glowed, pulsing where the electric traps had been set. If Zoroark happened to step on one, a shock would pulse through his body. Storm watched to see how the boy would react to this, and what his first attack would be along with the level of sinc between Pokemon and trainer.
Seeing how the ground was electrified Rayn looked around to see an idea. "Zoroark start this off with a double team." He said them the illusion fox pokemon leaped into the air and made several copies of itself. There were now nine zoroark's around. But only one was real. They would all move in sync and use the bandanna's and decorations from the festival to keep into the air and off the ground. "Now use dark pulse." Rayn said. Then the fox pokemon and all it's clones put there hands together and the black energy gathered and they all fired. From several different directions all of them fired. The Luxray would have a bit of trouble doglegging all of them.
(I vote we do a dice roll to see when you attack if you hit the real one. So it will be out of 6. 1 or 2 is a hit 3-6 is a miss. What do you think?)

"Brace for impact," Storm could guess and try attack the real one, or he could try to dodge. But the problem with these is during the dodge or attack he would be guessing at an enemy, and the key to a swift victory, especially in one on one, is to take you foe down in the least number of attacks as possible. The Dark Pulse slammed into Luxray from the right, "Discharge Now!" The Pokemon charged its power and a burst of electricity tore through Zoroark's body, and he slammed to the dock landing on one of many thunder mines waiting for him, this shocked the Pokemon once more. "You see I could have guessed on which was the real one to strike or dodge from," Storm explained, "or I can take a hit from your Zoroark and use the direction I was hit from to know where exactly you are." Storm was enjoying this lesson immensely, "and with the Electric Terrain in effect for five (turns) minutes, I got a double hit on you while you only got one."
"Well your a clever one." Rayn said. From the impressive move Zoroark was about one third of his full energy down. "Fortunitly I come prepared. Use dig!" He ordered. Zoroark growled and quickly burrowed into the ground. He took a little bit of a hit due to the electrified ground. But now he was under ground. Thanks to the way he moved he went onto the mainland off the main pier. This way there was plenty of rock and dirt o hide in. If the luxray followed him down he would hit him with a shadow ball attack.
(Now just so we are clear after the hit they moved to the land so dig is possible. Sorry it was slipping my mind a bit. xD)

Storm noticed the Zoroark moved to the dirt, but Luxray hadn't moved off the dock. She was safe as long as she was surrounded by her Electric Terrain, "You can't come up anywhere close to my Pokemon from that angle, but I do honor the valid attempt to use a ground type move," Storm backed up a bit, as did Luxray securing their position on the dock. "If type advantage is the only trick you have up your sleeve you better pack and get ready for a ferry ride!" Storm laughed, "Luxray, Discharge as soon as Zoroark shows its head above ground." There was about twenty feet between rock and dock, that means she would have at least ten seconds to send pulses of lightning through the fox Pokemon once more. Not to mention all the mines he'd cross trying to reach Lux. This kid had a lot to learn indeed.
"Oh I have a plan. But do you know any other moves other then discharge?" Rayn said jokingly. "Zoroark use double team and exit the ground. Then follow it up with shadow ball." Inside the hole Zoroark made eight clones of himself and had all of them jump out and split up in order just out of a discharges range. "Once you fire dig again for safety." He said. The nine fox pokemon charged and fired their ghost attack. A discharge would be able to counter them all if done right.
