Walther turned around seeing the giant bear looking thing "oh... forgot about him" he said drawing his rifle and aiming at the bears legs then in what seemed to be a blink of an eye pulled the trigger shooting one of the bears legs
Katahdin's leg took the impact but he wasn't moved, he roared at the metal man and swung a giant paw towards his midsection.
Walther jumped back and took another few shots at the bears legs
Artemis reached toward Rimmer's rifle, but it was too late. The shot got off and went soaring towards the bear's leg. Furiously he grasped the barrel of the weapon and he shouted at him. "What are you doing!" He shoved the barrel down toward the floor and shouted out him some more. "That beast is a part of your operations!" He sighed and let his barrel go. "If you want to go ahead and murder a crucial part of one of your operations, be my guest." He stepped aside and let this scenario play out. But if one of them was about to end the other's life, then he'll step in. Dealing with idiots that murder and shoot their own projects wasn't part of the contract, so he won't step in unless it was crucial.
The beast was hit with another group of shots, the rounds lodging into its legs. Katahdin still came towards Walther only more furious.
Katahdin was basically nerve dead and has thick skin, the mutations having occurred during fetal development have its organ shifted in strange locations. The Methyl Mercury poisoning that caused this mutation also caused his brain to turn to mush causing violent outbursts and aggressive behavior towards anything that it comes across.
Katahdin charged and rammed Walther violently, it turned to the others in the room and waited to see who was next.

There was a total of two dozen Vort-X droids on boards the ship, each was programmed to take the data drive from the one before it if something was to befall it. It was coded into their systems software, that and to clean. Another bot picked up the major part of the destroyed robot and vacuumed up the rest, the bot noticed the bear and nodded scooting quickly out of the room.
In a different room the bot pulled a large sphere out of the disabled Vort-X's chest. The sphere was the size of a base ball and was marked V.O.R.O Drive. The bot's hand units opened and small repair tools popped out and it unscrewed the stomach area, placing the orb inside. It was magnet and some strange loose wires with seemingly no purpose attached to it and a voice began to speak.
"How rude, Voro did not appreciate that," the droid said putting it's body back together. The new Voro put it's tools back into it's hand units and disposed of it's old bodies. If the Orb wasn't next to indestructible the mercenary would have really taken Voro out. But the Voro wasn't one drone, it was all the twenty three droids left.

Walther looked at Artemis "The core Contingency left us to die! I'm not going to follow them or keep anything of there's!" he said pulling his gun out of Artemis's grip
(Just to let you know he already walked away and let go of the gun.)
(I know, Rimmer was pretty much talking to himself after he got his gun out of his grip, think of it as he was walking away)
Artemis walked away from the battle, letting them fight it out. He wasn't exactly accustomed to the ship he was currently on so he just waltzed right into a random room so he could find some peace. He strolled into the wrong room if he were trying to find peace. As he took a step through the door, he froze in his track and began feeling rage. The robot he had just pelted with a multitude of magazines was alive directly I front of him, facing yet another robot that had the same appearance. Drawing his pistol he raised it to his visor and aimed down the sights at the robot. Shaking in rage he spoke, in a deep, harsh voice. "You have exactly one minute to explain before I blow your stout little head into the next room." After a moment, a better idea of executing this robot came to mind and he lowered his pistol. "Actually," he cracked his knuckles chuckling as he walked toward the robot, "I've got a better idea!"
Voro was grabbed by the masked psychopath and began to feel discontented. As robots can't feel fear or rage, he also wasn't a skilled fighter... He was a vacuum cleaner, so he was unable to get away. The man was pulling him toward the air lock and happy wasn't the correct programmed emotion for the moment.
"You know this is rather rude," Voro stated plainly, he had I trusted another Vort-X to clean up his destroyed previous body. His tools quickly went to work pulling the Voro Orb out, unfortunately once removed the whole system was wiped and the orb was dropped and the droids body fell limp.
The thing hit the floor rolling away from the air lock. And as the metal man turned to see what had happened the other droid had grabbed the orb and scooted away, leaving the other robot to be tossed out like scrap metal. This mission to observe was getting more dangerous then expected.

Katahdin followed the man out of the room, the beast's condition left it not wanting to leave survivors. as Artemis had his gun pointed at the vaccum robot The mutant bear stood behind him breathing heavily, it was literally inches from Artemis.
The Vort-X watched the bear enter V.O.R.O. Orb in hand, but didn't stick around to see the finale. It scooted into a near by storage closet and began tampering at its own body as the Vort-X before had. That would be the last time Voro would let the metal psychopath push him around, this little vengeful robot sorta hoped the bear would eat him. Tampering still had to be done, so as much as the program wanted to watch it stayed hidden locked in there until it would be done. A blue glow from it's eyes showed the face of the sphere as it worked.
Smiling wildly underneath his helmet he chuckled continuously. The bear being an inferior specie, it wouldn't realize that his high-tech helmet gave him the ability to see behind him. Artemis unsheathed his blades and whirled around handling them loosely. He spoke insanely to the beast, assuming it could understand him. "Okay, we have a few ways of going about this." He looked it directly in the eyes and spoke. "I understand you. People always fearing you, people locking you up." He took a small step backwards, but still keeping a relatively close distance from him. "You're, different, you are mutated, so you are enhanced in many different ways." He held his grip on the dual blades even harder. "I hope you can understand me, but if not. I apologize. Because I inflict pain very well." He twirled the swords in his hands and readied his attack stance.
Katahdin roared, while being able to understand his speech the bear didn't care. Its mutation caused constant pain which was the reasoning for its pure violence, the injections given allowed it some increased intelligence but at the end of the day the high levels of Methyl Mercury that caused its mutations while still in fetal form had basically destroyed most of the creatures brain. There is no reasoning with this creature and it is an impossible feat to end its rampage without slaying it, Katahdin was truly a mindless beast feeling no emotion other than rage.
Katahdin's body was riddled with battle wounds both old and new, the mutations left 95% of its body nerve dead. The creature having only one known weak spot was nearly invincible.

Voro now in his third body just today had about had it with the stupid assassin guy who had charged into this ship demanding control and killing him twice thus far. "Time to dispose of you," the robot had obtained one of Admiral Rro's Magno Daggers, aimed it at the shut down droid and pressed the button! The little bot exploded and chunks of shrapnel flew everywhere. They hit Artemis pushing him towards the bear a bit, they hit the bear leaving small cuts in his mutated flesh and one piece was even thrust into the air lock lever lodging itself there. "Not Good..." The door burst open pulling the assassin out of the ship and the bear began to slide twards it too. At least the assassin was off the ship now, thats what he gets for killing Voro!
Katahdin's claws dug into the ships floor, the beast was holding on with all of its might. In a last ditch effort for survival it tried to move against the pressure of the open air lock, the beast struggled but managed to crawl towards a large metal sheet on the ground that was a replacement for a faulty door leading to one of the living quarters of the crew with a strong swat it became airborne and covered the air lock returning the gravity to its previous state.
Katahdin stood up and walked towards the vacuum droid, its decomposing brain left it in a permanent bad mood and the stunt the droid had just pulled really made matters worse. The beast roared and swatted the droid sending pieces of it flying all over the room.

Voro stood in a maintenance closet not too far from the room, but when the air lick was opened another Vort-X was pulled into the room and was nearly thrown into space along with the mercenary. When the bear some how restored gravity Voro was confused, which was as close to impressed as he could possibly get. The cleaning bit didn't have anything against the bear until it smashed the droid that had been pulled into the room. It was destroyed, "why is everyone trying to kill me today."
The droid left the closet and slipped away without the bear noticing. He flagged a two or three Vort-X Drones to follow him just incase the commander had gone insane too, "Still Alive?" Voro asked poking his head back into the command room. The droids began to clean up the mess the bear had made, which was most likely futile because he was two rooms away and easily come back. Out the window the droid had a satisfaction program as the mercenary floated aimlessly toward the enemy ship. And explosion happened and their station shook, Boom!

Artemis had managed to grasp the edge of the airlock and thrust his rods into the metal of the ship. Although this took a mighty amount of strength, he managed to stay still for to the time being until he could regain his balance. In latching one foot he took a step forward, then stuck them into the metal once more. He did this continuously until he was seen in the doorway of the airlock. "That little bot!" He lugged himself into the room, and pressed the button rapidly to emergency lock the door. After it had sealed, Artemis unlatched himself and sighed. Completely forgetting about the bear, he was surprised to see it again. "Oh yeah," he stood up, brushing his armor off, "you're still here." He didn't even bother to unsheathe his blades, he just stood there and let out a long sigh. After he was done he took a small step forward toward the bear. "You hate em' to, eh?"
Hunter squinted at a small figure floating out of the station. He had been sent on a mission to retrieve data. He was expecting a quiet station full of scientists. Not... This. Hunter shrugged, it would be interesting.
To his left he saw a ship powering up it's weapons to strike the base. Acting quick he flew his smaller ship towards it, firing several different types of rounds at the charging weapons. The power of the other ship caused itself to detonate Hunter pierced the power sources. As it exploded the shock wave shook his ship, the boom even shaking the station.
Turnin the ship back, he pulled it to the top of station and it came to a stop. Clad in his battle suite and weapons, Hunter stepped out of his ship and into space just above the station. He brought his right arm up and aimed at a week spot, then fired his first wrist rocket. It propelled him backwards into his ship but when the rocket collided it made a size able hole. Using his combat knife he pulled his way into the room.
Thankfully the schematics his employer had given him were accurate for at least that part of the ship. The part he entered was an emergency air lock area, intended to keep the occupants safe should their be a pressure leak or the like. Exiting, and now feeling gravity again, Hunter up his knife back in his armor and began walking. Some sort of robot caught his attention as it went down the hallway away from him. Hoping it was heading to the bridge, he began to follow.
