She whimpered slightly and played with her sleeves. "Oh..." She mumbled still watching over her shoulder. She couldn't tell if he making fun of her it not. "I'm sorry if it's offensive..."
"It's going to take a lot more than that to offend me, lass," he commented with a grin before he reached the table and pulled out a chair where there was a plate laid down specifically for her. With an open hand he gestured her towards the seat.
She mumbled a soft thank you and sat down. She felt her stomach shift at the sight of food. "It looks very good. Thank you." She said cocking her head to the side with a bright smile.
"It's about time I've seen you smile," he returned a smile before rounding the table to take a seat where his plate was laid. If she had noticed he had quite an amount of fruits on the table, but no delicacies or anything of the sort.
"sorry to ask again, but are vegetarian?" She asked playing with the hem of her shirt. She was now very curious about her friendly host. She didn't run it through her head before, but she didn't stop and realize that this man, might be a mass murderer or something along the sorts. She now took the time to look for any signs of said thoughts.
The wizard stared skeptically for while as if he was waiting for her to declare that she was joking, but when she hadn't he chuckled and shook his head. "I don't think I could live without meat," he picked up his fork with a gloved hand, "That or I wouldn't be able to control my magic well.. I just have to keep a balanced diet to balance my magic, that's all."
She cocked her head to side. "Magic really is that delicate huh?" She asked gently inspecting the fork to the side. "If even the smallest thing like a diet or appearance could through it off."
'Of course it is stupid...' a voice snickered In her head, only making her fidget.

Nelís nodded thoughtfully, "You have to stabilize your emotions and what your body takes it. Magic is a part of your body, is it not? It can be easily influenced." He dug his fork into the season eggs Gerald had been so generous to make.
She nodded in agreement and took a small bite f her breakfast.
'When are you gonna tell him?' The voice sneered. 'The whole reason your mama needed you to find him.'
She ignored the voice and cleared her throat. "This is very good. Gerald did a wonderful job." She murmured softly.
'Hello?'

'Hello?'
"He always does, but I wish he was as enticing as the food. You may have noticed by now that he's not the friendliest butler," he chuckled as he brought a fork-full of eggs between his lips. His eyes inspected her a bit, seeing some undermining discomfort though he couldn't be too sure and he wasn't going to make any absurd assumptions.
'Fine. Don't tell him, I will. with a knife to slit his throat-'
She slammed her hand son the table and stood up. "May I please be excused?" She shrieked as tears filled her eyes.
She slammed her hand son the table and stood up. "May I please be excused?" She shrieked as tears filled her eyes.
Her hand startled him, a bit unnerving, but he immediately found his calm as his eyes drifted up to her. "No, sit back down," he said bluntly with a face that couldn't exactly be read. "I can't help but feel that you're at a bit of conflict with yourself," the wizard added, his eyes returning to his plate to dig up another fork-full.
She shifted carefully sitting back down. "I-i think I need to Leave...." She whispered. "For everyone's safety..."
The Trait Wielder doubted she'd be any real threat unless she was in any way affiliated with the AI which he doubted terribly due to them being fierce enemies of magic users. "Then why did you come?" the question hung in the air. If she planned to learn then she would learn, but it was beginning to become a growing suspicion that that wasn't all she came for.
"I-i thought I could control it. But I can't. And longer I'm here the longer I'm putting yours and g e'er Gerald's life In danger, as well as anyone In the near vicinity." She said grinning the table so hard between her hands it turned he knuckles white.
"I think it will be quite the opposite. If you can't control it then I will," it sounded more like an offer for her to stay because he knew well that out there is where she would cause the most danger. If she was concerned for anyone, it should be for the normal people around her. A magic user who can't control their talent were as dangerous to themselves as they are others, but Nelís had gone through the entire process of not knowing how to bring his powers to a tame. It would take time. She couldn't afford to leave.
She watched him closely and little her head okay her folded arms. "I have a feeling your not going to let this go. Are you?" She muttered. The cackling In her head only intensified. 'God, you're such a freak..' if She could only explain, this would be over In a heart beat. She just wanted everyone safe. Is that so much to ask? She wants a simple spell to help keep 'it' under control and that was it. Otherwise, What was the point.
"You have good perception," he complemented, his fork lifting to her momentarily before he set in down on his plate and sat back in his seat. "I'm only trying to help, but I can't if you keep trying to keep a veil over your situation," Nelís spoke almost exasperatedly.
She began fervently wringing her hands together. "I don't mean to.....I just do...it's like a survival tic." She mumbled feeling bad for making him stressed out. "I'm sorry.."
His eyes fell upon her restless hands and he scooted out of his chair and got up. "It's fine," a smile returned to his lips though this one was soft. In no time he had rounded the table to her, removing one of his gloves and holding his bare hand out to her, planning to show her that she wasn't alone in seeking control.
