My general Roleplay style is that I usually just type whatever is needed for the moment. Sometimes more, sometimes less, I have always preferred quality over quantity.

Feel free to the Looking For RP forum, it has people in search of certain RPs that may peak your interested. You can also use the Find RP tool, (only shows who was only in the last ten minutes though, but is still quite handy. Or if you find a character you like just PM them and ask if they are interested.
