It was a beautiful valm saturday night, a bar was lit up with laughter and the occasional *Cachunk* of glasses as people toasted and drank the night away. Vincent was sat around a table full o late comers for a football game re-run, he was watching the screen as the football got thrown left or right, he focused on the ball like a dog and a bone.
A team scored and the whole table jumped with excitement, Vince's eyes were lit up like a firework. He enjoyed this, the beers with his football crazy friends. "Ey Jim!?" Vince called out, eyes glued to the screen. The bartender's eyes eventually peeled away from the screen
"What now Vin?" the tender said trying not to let his eyes fall upon the screen, he chuckled a little.
"Give everyone in the bar a drink of their choice on me" The room started cheering, some of the older fellas roughed up his hair.
"Alright Vin, and a beer for you right?" the keeper said looking around the line that had formed when the game was paused for a commercial. Vincent nodded with a smile, chuckling as he stood up and straightened his shirt and vest before heading for the toilet
While stood at a cubical, he let out all the drinks he had consumed and the best part of it all was, he could get drunk but never get an kind of disease. A familiar scent caught his attention "aww man, seriously?... during the game?" he muttered to himself shaking his head, his grey hair fell over his dark green eyes. "Can't you take care of hell on your own for once?!" a little annoyed he zipped up his fly and washed his hands then sat back at the table he was at.
"Here son, I'm glad you chose us all the time" Jim said patting him on the shoulder, Vince's gaze was about to fall upon the next person that walks through the doors

Stepping into the bar, the blonde female was hit by the strong smell of alcohol... and men. Internally, she cringed and wished she could back out. But the guy behind her gave her a nudge with one hand and she took a few steps forward, feeling extremely out of the place in the room of men watching tv and drinking. Her brown eyes searched for an exit, hoping she could get out of this mess... and soon.
Any attempts to escape were prevented when her companion put one arm around her waist, tightly, and tugged her over to the bar to order drinks. The man with her was clearly quite a bit her elder and didn't seem to care that his companion didn't want to be there. Once he'd order the drinks he turned to her and spoke in a low tone. "Trust me. Once you've had a couple drinks, you'll loosen up and you might actually enjoy yourself."
Rather than responding, the girl glared slightly at him. She was really starting to regret her parents setting her up on a date with this man. They were getting antsy about her being 19 and still single... as most werewolves found mates by the time they were 17 or 18. So, they'd started setting her up to date single males. This particular male was a model werewolf male and rather physically attractive... even at age 27. She did wonder how he was still mateless... but everytime he opened his mouth she was reminded exactly why... because his personality was lacking... and what personality he did have was unpleasant and rude.
"Come on, Mary, let's find a seat." He held the drinks and turned to find a place to sit.
"Marina." She corrected under her breath. Silently, she prayed that she would find a chance to escape... and soon.

"I didn't chose this bar Jim, the people and it chose me" he aid with a smile, Jim looked back at him with a confused look.
"Well you're not working tonight and tomorrow so drink up and have fun" the bar tender said handing him a beer. Vince took it with a bigger smile than he had, he never felt so in place ever and these past couple of months were the best he ever had and his life was filled with happiness.
As Vincent brought the beer bottle to his lips he paused, took in a deep breath and noticed the bar was filled with an animal-like scent, like a wolf had stepped into the bar unnoticed. He scanned the room and spotted 2 people that just didn't fit in and mos f all, the girl seemed like she DIDN'T want to fit in.
Vince decided to play it cool, he didn't hate werewolves but he did hat how territorial thy were and that meant over the littlest things even women. So he sat back in hi chair and watched from the corner of his eye intentively, if it came down to it, he'd protect the bar and if she'd need it, the girl too.

The couple took a seat at one of the few empty tables in the bar. Almost immediately, the male started drinking, downing one drink. And then another. It didn't take him long to start getting a little tipsy, but he did order another drink for himself.
Awkwardly, the blonde tried to sink as far down into her chair as possible, not bothering to touch the drink that was in front of her. Her eyes wandered the bar, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. Cautiously, she tried to make sense of all the smells. Aside from her date, the alcohol, and the man smell... there were only a few other smells. Sweat, shoes, dog... wait, dog? She looked around curiously, but she didn't see any animals in here. That was odd. Maybe there'd been a dog in here earlier.
After several minutes of silence, and drinking, the male turned his attention to his date. "Aren't you going to drink?" There was an edge in his voice that told her she was in trouble if she didn't do what he wanted.
For a second, she let her gaze dart around, seeking help, but the men were all fixed on the football game and not paying attention. "I don't feel like it." Was her awkward attempt at an answer as she tried to not agitate the situation.
However, her response was not the one her companion wanted. "You are going to drink it. I bought it for you." His tone turned dark and threatening. Under his breath, he muttered an expletive so only she would hear it.
Unlucky for everyone in the room, one of the other men in the bar heard it and frowned at the man. "You shouldn't call a woman that. If she doesn't want to drink, then she doesn't want to drink. Leave the girl alone." He said, unaware that he had just dropped a match into a barrel of gunpowder.
The male werewolf prickled at the human's words. "Oh?" He growled. "And who are you to tell me what to do?" He started to rise from his seat, looking about ready to rip the human's throat open... if he weren't so drunk that his vision was blurred.

Victor knew this would get messy, the people in the bar were not ready to witness a werewolf. "Excuse me" vin said as he got up and grabbed the werewolf's collar from behind, he dragged him out with great force and threw him out of the front door that was held open for him "Jim, lock the front door, please, trust me" Vince said to the bar keeper. The keeper was surprised ad worried about Vin but did as he was asked, he locked the door and shut the blinds.
The young lady was stood behind Vince as he stood to defend her "She said she didn't wan't a drink, you fur coated bastard" he said, a faint growl was heard from his throat. "Leave her be or it'll really get messy" Vin let out a bark, the force of the wind was strong as it was pushed back in the drunk male werewolf's face.

The interference was unexpected, but much appreciated by Marina who would rather not have the entire human populace find out that werewolves are real. She watched the stranger drag her date out of the bar. Hesitantly, she followed, knowing that a fight was about to break out.
Dragging the male werewolf out was likely not an easy feat, as he snarled and struggled, kicking at the other person. Once outside, he turned on the man and growled. The bark and the wind startled him, but he didn't hesitate to lunge and swing a punch at his opponent. It would hit Vin's face unless he was fast enough to dodge or use his opponent's momentum against him.

Vin ducked under the punch and uppercut the wolf in the chin, he then jabbed him with other hand causing the wolf to tumble back. Vince growled at the wolf as it lay on the floor dazed "c'mon wolfy! Hit me! If you can't be a man and hit me then were you ever man enough for this lady!?" He said with a smirk, he was intimidating the wolf since it was talking all tough to the girl.
"Show me that beast side!" He said as a katana appeared in his hand. Cerberus was coming out to play after a long time.

It seemed to dawn on the male that he was up against someone who was stronger than him. But, this didn't stop him from shifting into his wolf form and snarling at the man. He stumbled to his paws and stayed back, circling his opponent to find an opening. When he perceived one, he lunged in and attempted to bite Vin's arm.
Marina held still, watching silently. It wasn't her place to get into this fight. If she sided with the stranger, she would be betraying her own kind... and she didn't want to attack the stranger.

Whilst the wolf was in mid air, Vincent slammed him straight into the ground with an elbow drop. He laughed at the wolf as he jumped up onto his feet "is that all little cub?" His Scottish accent was very mocking towards the wolf.
Vince barked at the wolf as it got up on it's legs. He speared the wolf as soon as it stood straight into a car the slammed his foot in it's face "do you want to listen now little cub?" He said then roared at it.
He stepped back a little, looking over his shoulder at the girl "my name's Vincent by the way" he said with a smile half aware of the male werewolf.

Being out maneuvered was frustrating for the male werewolf, but he seemed to realize that there was no way he was going to be beating this guy. After a moment of frustrated snarling, he turned and ran off, limping a little from his humiliating defeat.
Marina was a little startled to be spoken to, but she managed a small smile. "I'm Marina. Um, Thanks for the help..."

"Don't sweat it!" he said with a shrug, the weapon dispersing into the wind. He walked over to the door and unlocked it "You can repay me with some food, call it even stevens then" he said with a smile "I know you're a werewolf and i bet you have questions for me that i have full intentions of answering, all for your number and a date sometime"
His forward nature was rather refreshing, but also surprising. She blushed at his mention of getting her number and going on a date. "Ah. Okay." It was a good thing she'd brought her wallet. The money had been for a taxi home once she escaped her date, but now that he was dealt with, she didn't see a problem in using the money to repay the man who saved her. "I'm okay with a date... as long as you like your girls sober." While her attempt at a joke was rather feeble, it was an attempt.
Vince chuckled at her tiny attempt at humour, it was amusing "I like my girls anyway they're comfortable, actually, and right now only one has caught my eye" he said pulling out a seat for her as he went up to a table.
He went up to the bar and pulled an order pad from behind it. He went back to the table with a cheeky smile "so what can I order for you, for me"

The fact that he laughed at her attempt to be funny made her relax a little. His words puzzled her a little, but she was glad he didn't seem to have any malintent towards her. "I suppose that's good." She responded, uncertain what he meant about only one girl having caught his eye.
Once seated, she started to feel a little less out of place in the bar. Sure it was still not her kind of place to hang out... but it wasn't completely horrible either. "Well, I guess it depends on what you want." She wasn't sure why he would ask her to order for him. They'd just met... there was no way she'd know what to get for a stranger.

"How about I order 2 specials? Do you want some soda too? It doesn't matter I'm goin to get ya one anyway" he ripped out the page in the pad then gave it in the kitchen and returned with 2 sodas "I need to sober up a little" he chuckled
"I bet you're wondering why this place smells a little different, or why there seems to be one smell that stands out? It's me"

Marina couldn't help but admire his take charge attitude. "That works for me." She liked soda, so she had no problem with drinking some. "You don't seem that drunk to me." She said with a small smile. He seemed pretty coherent and alert as far as she could tell.
"Ah... yeah. It sort of smells like a dog." She said awkwardly. His words both surprised and confused her. Him? But why would he smell like a dog? That didn't make sense to her. It seemed there was more to him than met the eye. After all, he had outmaneuvered a werewolf and pulled a katana from thin air.

"I only had a beer, so maybe you're right" he chuckled "so Erm, I'm guessing you're a wolf. Are you a beta or an omega?" Taking a sip of his drink as he asked her "cuz I can tell from the experience I've had with alpha's that you can't be one, or maybe I'm wrong and you're a really nice alpha that let's beta's push her around" he was kidding but maybe he could've done better wording that, it didn't matter him much though, he was always pretty confident and straight forward.
"I'm actually the guardian of the hell portals" his tone of voice showed he wasn't quite pleased with his title "the three headed hound of hell, created from the deepest flames of hellfire, the blue flame. I me Cerberus, the myth and legend..." He took a swig of his soda but his expression was cold as he explained that.

Letting him talk was fine with her. "Omega... You could say I'm an omega among the omegas... I'm pretty low in the ranks." She sighed softly, before taking a sip of her soda. "I've never seen an Alpha let another wolf push them around. They're as dominant and mean as they come."
His explanation of his own identity left her surprised and confused. "Are you serious?" She tried hard to keep her voice down, but she had trouble hiding her disbelief. "But... you only have one head?" Wasn't Cerberus supposed to have three? She was pretty sure that he did in the stories.

"Not in this form I don't" he scoffed, the waitress that was working that night brought their food and placed it on the table
"There ya go! 2 specials" she said with pearly whites
"Thanks Jill"
"Don't even worry about" she replied smiling at the two "have fun" she said looked back and forward between the two before turning to tend to another order
"Let me get my lore right, there are three types of werewolves. Fire there are the pack leaders, the Alphas. Then there are the beta's, the actual wolves that make up the pack. And lastly there are Omegas, the lone wolves with no pack and no objective. That sound about right?" He asked with a cocked brow.
"But anyway I'm the real deal" Vince said picking up a fork, his eyes looked up at her "sometimes I get called on as a demon hunter to send demons back to hell

Marina was rather curious about it, but decided to not pry further for now. She was wondering how animals with multiple heads functioned... and did each head have its own brain and personality?
"Erm... Not really. There's technically four types." Patiently, she did her best to correct him. "First, there is the Alphas, who are the head leader. Usually, there is only one Alpha male and one Alpha female. Think... king and queen, or president? Then, there are Betas. They are second only to Alphas and often are the hunters, warriors and fill in secondary leadership roles. Omegas are the bottom of the pack, they do most of the menial labor, tend to the infants, and they get bossed around by Betas and Alphas. Sort of like serfs in medieval times... but less oppressed in some ways. The last group are Lone wolves... those are the ones that have no pack."
Marina took another sip of her soda, studying him. "I see. Sounds like an interesting job."
