Aiden watched Sam as he walked forward, leaving reality for that little messed up world he wax never to fond of. He sighed under his breath, he had to enter this time. By choice. God this sucked. He took a step forward into the mad world once more, watching as that world became more vivid, and reality seemed to fade away. It was like he had walked down a tunnel with only the light at the end, but the light was deceiving, and there was no turning back. He soon stood beside where Sam was, starring up at the giant. "I'm here .." he said to Sam, but his eyes never left the giant. He never saw this kind of creature here. But then again, it was the mad world, and even the craziest of this would happen.
He watched in horror as the beast dropped Sam into its mouth. Then next he knew the giant came for him to, and did the same thing with him. He would not be swallowed though. If they didn't get out of here, Sam may end up seeing a side of Aiden he would have never guessed existed. Afterall, tit space aren't the madmens friend.

Sam slid slowly down the beasts throat, "damn, damn, damn!" Sam yelled as he tries to think all he had was his journal and... He pulled his pencil of of his pocket, stabbing it into the throat of the monster. Blood and saliva soaked the detectives cloths as he tried to push his way up.
"Run Aiden!" Thorne yelled as soon as light hit his face, he had crawled up only a little way but at this point he had stabbed the giant three or four times in the throat and it began to gag on its own blood. It's screams were powerful, "go kid, leave me behind!" He yelled before slipping backwards once more, "I'll be fine!" Another stab to the giants throat made it wail again and the pencil broke, was this the end?

Aiden tried to keep from being swallowed, but the force was to powerful, and he got threw back, there, was where he snapped. He feared he never get on of here, he feared he'd die, he feared this place would be his final resting place, and it seemed he wasent ready to die. "I'm not leaving you" he told Sam. His friend couldn't really see Aiden at all in the almost complete darkness of this monster, so he didn't see what Aiden had gained, but soon, he might would. He looked back at Sam. If stabbing the creature was his only idea, he was an idiot. He felt everything shake whenever the giant screamed, and he sighed quietly under his breathe. He was an idiot for not doing as he was told, but what choice did he have? Risk Sam getting himself killed? Getting both of them killed? Or both of them surviving? He reached out a hand and grabbed Sam, and for a teenager, a weak teenager, this form gave him a little strength, seeing it wasent 100% him. He helped his friend out of the throat. He didn't care if Sam complained saying he should've done as he was told. That was plain to see. Besides, he didn't know all the detective knew.
"Who the hell are you," Sam yelled, he did not recognize Aiden at all. The throat was slimy and despite the demons strength Thorne slipped and slid down the throat. Death wrapped him in darkness and stomach acid, he landed in bones and metal, it was over. Wait... metal? he pulled the shot gun up from inside the acid, two shells inside, "well I'll be damned."
Thorne analyzed the movement of the walking monster, it seemed to be fighting whatever that demon thing was. BOOM! Blood spilled into the stomach and acid spilled into the body, the abdamin clenched and the acid began to bubble upward. Vomit, he was carried by a stream up the beasts throat once more, "no one eats Samuel J. Thorne!"
The detective shoved his gun into the roof of the giants mouth and fired a shot upward! BOOM! The force caused the shotgun to explode and Sam flew out of the giants mouth as it fell to the ground... dead, "now, who are you again?" Sam asked wiping stomach acid, brain juice, and blood from his face.

( sorry if my response doesn't exactly fit yours, I got confused)
The demon guy looked just like Aiden in the face, but his eyes were hidden behind black bangs, and the darkness of inside the giant didn't help, it just made it so Sam could see the figure. Despite his grip, he felt Sam escaping his grasp until Sam slipped out, and fell into the black, Aiden was stuck falling to, deep into the shadows of this giant, until they landed in the stomach. It seemed the answer to Sams question would have to wait.
Luckily it seemed this creature had eaten quite a few things previously, so at least it was stuff to land on. Maybe not the comfiest stuff, but at least Aiden had his wings to break his fall a bit. During all of this, his eyes stayed locked on Sam.
After the little trip of getting out of that thing, Aiden had been launched out of the giant when the gun exploded, and he landed on the ground on his side, and rolled over as his cycle of landing completed. Note to self. Do as Sam says next time to avoid such situation. The creature was not very tall, about Aiden height. Wait, where was Aiden? For Sam didn't know probably.
Now that they were outside, Sam could see just what it was that had grabbed him to keep him from falling. It was Aiden- for it was wearing his clothing, which had rips on the back of his shirt from the black wings, and had to horns, small fangs where his top canine teeth should be, and so forth.

Acid still blurring his vision he had asked the question again but as soon as his eyes were clear he realized it was him, "Aiden, what the?" Sam grabbed the kid by his shoulders and shook him a bit, "snap out of it! Don't let this world consume you!" Please, the kid had to understand that this wasn't the way, we can beat them, there was no need to join the madness.
But could this be the answer? He had to get back to the world of reality to find more pieces to the puzzle but this was certainly a big one. A demon, a manifested demon inside the boy, "You may look like Aiden," Sam started, "but who are you really? Some sort of demon?" Sam wasn't very religious but this was not a time to question his beliefs and what he was seeing.

Aiden opened his eyes when he felt himself being shook, and looked at Sam with darker grey eyes. Instead of the lifeless light colored grey, it was a dark, dull grey. Almost like the color of rain clouds when a bad storm was about to hit. His skin was paler- if that was even possible, and a shadowy misty looking darkness covered his neck area. He wasent fully sucked into the madness luckily, so he would be alright. "I'm not even sure anymore" was the only response that came from him. Sam had to remember, Aiden was still in there. Maybe not completely, but he was still there. He sat up. It was horrifying what this place could do. But never was it permanent in Aidens case. This puzzle had so many pieces remaining, this was only getting started. His grey gaze stayed locked on Sam. In this form it was almost intimidating, yet at the same time sad. Like this child hasn't been through enough.
Sam backed away from the demon looking creature, so it was him. No doubt filled Thorne's mind anymore, "please Aiden! Snap out of it, we have to get back to reality!" He paused, the police station is where we need to go!" It had been where they were trying to get anyway so why not at least make a push for that place?
"Think you can make it? Do you believe you can pass back into humanity??" Thorne was just beginning to place things in the right areas of his mind, he needed to think bigger, the whole time he had this wavering feeling that a disease may be causing illusions but those thoughts were wiped clean now. And all that was left was this maddening clarity and the urge to find the truth.

Aiden looked down at the ground, tryng to get his thoughts and alignment straight, and after a moment he then stood up. He would follow.
"This isn't the first time this has happened" Aiden told him. So this wasent knew to him. "So I believe I could" he said. He looked back at his wings, "do you think we'd get there faster by air?" He asked Sam. It was clear the kid wasent fond of being here now at this time.

Sam turned white, whiter then even the boy. "No, nope, no way..." Sam was deathly afraid of heights, "Not flying, not, nope!" He shook his head and looked upward, something he didn't tell any one was he never flew. And for a guy who traveled around the nation solving murder cases going by train or car was often inconvenient.
He had been two or three days late to the blood soaked girls murder scene in Seattle because of this fact. Tree of flesh and skeleton hounds didn't scare him, giant fleshless monsters and burning rain didn't give him nightmares but that rock climbing wall in ninth grade still did.
He had been climbing up the wall when he slipped and the rope holding him in the air got wrapped around his neck and he hung their nearly twenty feet in the air until he blacked out. This was his only true fear and that was why, "I'm not flying Aiden," he said sternly, "no!"

Aiden slightly started at Sam who deeply didn't seem to find of heights. Aiden however wasn't scared of heights obviously. The air was usually the only place he could feel safe, but never could he change into this form when he wanted to. It wasn't exactly a by choice thing. Aiden remembered being seven years old standing on the edge of the hotel roof, gazing out at the lights of the city. "Okay..." He said quietly, "no flying." If Sam had noticed, no matter what the situation was, Aiden had eat to argue with him. Aiden looked up and took in a deep breath before looking down wincing slightly, his wings started to disappear, as did his horns. A process which seemed to hurt.
As the wings faded so did the mad world, reality appeared around them, no flash back into life, not difference in lighting, and no concern or commotion about. "how the hell did we get back?" The detective looked around as everything faded back into vision, and his phone buzzed. "Eight new voice mails?" Thorne put his phone up to his ear, his face seemed worried, "alright well meet you there."
He turned to Aiden, "We found what we are looking for..." He sighed looking at his phone and turning to walk the way they had come, "your not going to like it though." And with that Sam lead the boy up town towards the Catholic church.

As reality came closer, then pain Aiden felt slowly ceased, and he led out a quiet so once it was over and he looked around. Reality. He looked down at his hands, back to there normal complexion. He was the way he was supposed to be. He put his hands down. Sam knew him now. Knew the monster that lurked within him. Lurked underneath the skin off this creepy, yet somewhat innocent teenager.
He looked at Sam when he heard the vibration of the phone repeatably. Like he was getting spammed with messages until it came to a stop. He tilted his head, seeing the worry written in his friends face, and became curious. The fact Sam claimed he wouldnt like what he found, peaked his curiosity and he followed. "What do you mean?" He asked, his eyes looking up at Sam.

"We found your mother on file," Sam said not looking back at the boy, traced the year of your age courtesy of the orphanage to the local hospitals, but there were no records." He looked back at the messages, "So we looked further, clinics, motel records, and church files." Sam was silent as they turned the corner and a big church appeared in front of them. "Come on inside the man inside will explain," the detective opened the big door and held it for Aiden.
It probably wasn't a great time to tell him that he was being accused for the murder of Sophie Beckham, the girl how's body was found... Twice. They had video footage of the boy in the ally alone and hours later after no other traffic her body just appeared there, they were waiting on footage in the book store where they found the bloodless body for full proof. "Go on in," Thorne knew Aiden didn't kill the girl, the detective knew he had to prove this theory wrong.

Aiden felt a little doubtful. If his mother was out there why would the put him in a ****ing hellhole they call an 'orphanage' and make him believe all his life that his parents were both dead. The fact there was no files from what he was understanding, made him more doubtful. Though a small bit of him did consider the fact he may have misunderstood. He saw the church, and his gaze quickly went to the ground, of all places, a church, the place he'd never want to be. Why did people insist on worshipping an imaginary friend? Based off what he thought, he didn't understand.
He stopped at the entrance, his gaze looking up at the church. Examining it. Being hesitant. Like he knew he didn't belong here, but he was stuck with this shitty situation...he looked down again, and made his way inside.

The priest looked at the two of them enter, he was a bit frightened to look at Aiden, Welcome my child, Sam sat the boy down as the father explained what had happened, how it was in his church the boy was born. A woman came in saying that she had been possessed by the devil so the men of God gave her some tests and even went to her home to check out what it could be. Late one Saturday she came in complaining of a stomach pain, so the priests looked at her, and what was inside her started to grow at an alarming rate.
Your mom didn't survive the, the father paused, attack. He explained how a demon had infected her body and planted his evil seed within her, she gave birth to Aiden once she was dead, no dad, no home, so the Priests gave him to the orphanage to live. "I'm so sorry this all has been happening to you Aiden but the father say they can try an Exorcism on you if you're up for it." Thorne said after the man was done.

"I'm not your child" he thought to himself, keeping his gaze on the floor. He didn't want to look up and see all those holy symbols like crosses and stuff. He had to act calm though, thge last thing he needed was to get a preaching yelling at him saying "Gods going to dsmn you to hell for your sins" and such like he knew overly religious people did. Once he had sat down something he really didn't want to do, after a moment he finally braved up and looked at the preacher with his lifeless looking, and quite intimidating to the saints, eyes. He listened as the man explained things to him, and it kinda left him speechless. Not only did he not have any parents now, he wasent even supposed to be born according to this man. He was never planned, never wanted. After a moment he said "you have to be ****ing kidding me" he said quietly, not caring to watch his language inside the church or infront of the preacher. "So what are you saying that I'm the devils son or something?" He demanded quietly, almost sounding mad, yet at the same time upset. He glarred at the sam upon hearing the word exorcism , and with a look that deep within his eyes read "touch me and you'll find yourself flying out that stained glass window.
(Sorry if its messed up, xD it seemsyou changed your response a bit while I was typing)

Sam wasn't catholic, a less intense breed of christianity. He listened as the explained how the devil didn't go inside people but how this was a demon or a dark spirit of some sort, and how after the demon left Aiden wouldn't be forced into the Mad World anymore. And it's your only chance to get into heaven.
Without thinking a fist flew through the air leaving it's red implant on the preachers face and the man fell down, "You don't tell someone something is their only way to get into heaven!" Thorne was heated, "Especially not a child that's not why I am religious, it's a thing everyone can do!" The preachers shout interrupted the detectives, any person can! But not if they have a demon this powerful inside you like Aiden does! Detective Thorne was quiet, he had no more words right now.

Aiden didn't want to go through with exorcisms and all that. Hell, there was even a chance it wouldn't work after it was done. Aiden starred at the the preacher a moment once the man got punched down, and he looked at Sam a second before looking down at the preacher. His gaze almost intimating considering the situation before them. "Heavens gates will never open up to me. Demon, or not" he said. He had no interest in going to heaven, seeing he believed just like there was no messiah, or savior, there was no place where everything's at ease.
Thorne looked at the boy, "maybe that is the case, but if we can let you be at ease, just a bit more then you are then maybe I'll be at ease too." It may have sounded selfish but it was true, Sam handbrake slept in almost two days now. Since he got up from the hospital he had been jumping through worlds and fighting random beasts of all shapes and sizes. He just wanted to close his eyes for a second without risking passing through a portal of some sort. "If not for yourself, do it for me," if Thorne was this wired from only two or three days of this he couldn't imagine what Aiden would be going through.
