UGH! Why did summer in Texas have to be so... freaking... HOT? It was 90 degrees outside, 89 degrees inside, and I don't even WANT to talk about the interior of her car. She spent the entire day in a tank top and short shorts, A/C and fan on full blast, wishing that temperature was more like back in Scotland.
Scotland was beautiful this time of year.
Anyway, this story is not about Elsa trying to survive the Texas heat. So let's move on.
As Elsa fanned herself, she heard the phone ring. She picked up immediately.
"Hello?"
A man spoke. "Miss MacKeely?"
"That would be me. What do you want?"
"I have an issue. See, I just moved in to town recently, and in my new house things have been moving around a lot. It doesn't stop."
"I see. Do you have pets?"
"One dog, but this is a Maltese. Small dog. It couldn't get onto my table, much less move stuff around on top of it."
"I see. Have you tried auto scripting?"
"No. Should I?"
"NO! Please, don't. Let me come and handle it. How much can you pay?"
"How much do you want?"
"Whatever you can pay. I'm not the type to rob you every last penny after I save your life and property. Can I have an adress?"
"36660, Grace street. I believe you're in town?"
"Yes. I'll be there immediately."

Jasper was on his usual patrolling of the city, walking from a tall building and flicking a cigarette onto the concrete. Letting out a displaced groan, and put on sunglasses and glared at the sun. Gross heat..." He muttered.
He had received a call from a couple people in the Brooklyn area, telling him to keep his eyes peeled for anything suspicious. Creeps of all kinds were popping up everywhere now-a-days. Including, the supernatural kind.
He had been living down here for years and tried to explain the worst he'd seen was a demon or two, nothing he couldn't handle. But they ALL felt the need to tell him something along the lines of 'keep your guard up' or 'don't go slacking'.
He sighed and stuck his hands in his jean pockets and continued down the concrete street, looking for trouble, wherever it may lay.

((Brooklyn, Texas?))
Elsa went to the small house. On the way, she passed a good-looking young man. She tried to avoid eye contact, but couldn't help but steal a glance or two. She made a split-second decision.
"Hi there! I'm Elsa. What's your name?"

((He received a call from Brooklyn. ^^ You'll understand cause he's in a cult like thing-a-majig for cool people like him. ))
He grinned slightly. "Jasper.." He said with his hand slipping from his pocket and he held it out for her. "Nice to meet you."

"Whot's a bloke like you doin' in this ungodly part of town? You seem a decent fellow."
Elsa looked at him for a moment. He was a pretty good-looking guy, in her opinion. He seemed nice. But they were in a really bad part of town, both in the criminal realm and the spirit one. Does he know where he is? I wonder if he WANTS to be here?
"You should probably leave. It's definitely not sa-" Elsa got cut off suddenly. And very, very violently. a man ran up and put a gun to Elsa's head.
"Give me that purse there and everyone goes home safe," the man said.
"That would be nice, except..."
As she spoke, the gun slowly raised into the air.
Out of the mugger's hand.
Suddenly the man found himself in the air, hovering by his hair, about a meter off the ground. He got whipped around through the air, screaming the whole way, while Elsa watched, laughing slightly. She knew just the command phrase to stop the attack, but this was far too entertaining to stop it now. She decided to act it up a bit, glancing at Jasper quickly, flashing a brilliant smile.
'Do you want it to stop?"
"MAKE IT STOP!"
"Leave us alone, and I will release you."
"OKAY OKAY JUST LET ME GO!"
"Who ever you may be, you must release this man. He is no enemy of yours. Jah Farehnil."
Suddenly, the man dropped to the ground.
"Run."
He obliged. Elsa looked at Jasper, failing to gauge his impression.
"We really should get going."

Watching her closely her personally checked his palm. His tattoo showed darkly against his skin. Which means She had yet to know. "Whoa ty out did to that man...He's simply stupid. Not enough to scare him half to death."
"I wasn't the one who attacked him. The spirit was not under my control. Judging by your reaction, you're used to that kind of stuff. Are you a hunter or an exorcist? Or both?"
