Oliver quickly backed up from the monitors, nearly falling out of his chair. He looked to Kas, eyes wide and obviously very panicked. Though he was trying to be calm that wasn't working very well. He kept repeating to himself (mentally of course) that he'd seen tons of freaky things in his lifetime, why was this any different? Calm down, he thought, this isn't a big deal. But the difference was those things were through a screen, and those things weren't reading him like a book.

"I..I don't know what your talking about." He decided to play dumb, mostly in defense. Part of him wanted to believe what she was saying wasn't true. "I'm going to be fine just as long as I keep this job."

"Open your eyes, Oliver. Stop living in the dream..." That did it. Kas stood from where she sat, the darkness only making her seem more ominous.

Then it was visible. Between her legs, poking down from the back of her pants, seemingly out of nowhere now. One...no, four of them. Tails, strangely out of place ones. Grey furred, writhing steadily and growing in size before his very eyes. The room was illuminated as the lights died, by little blue flames that lit atop of each one, a strange blue ball of star-like light slipping between each tail, almost as if she were toying with it.

"Not everything that's happened to you is bad luck. You're the first person in two hundred years to see this. And so I'm giving you a chance to understand exactly why your world is suddenly turning into this. And a chance to get free. No more horrible monsters ripping people appart, no more evil corporation tying you down and threatning you. You could take your life back, if you claim it."

Oliver lowered his head and covered his face with his hands, trying to process things. He was unsure of how to approach this but he was trying to be as reasonable as possible. First he evaluated the situation. Okay, yeah Kas just randomly sprouted a bunch of tails with blue fire around them, but hey, at least she wasn't a hideous monster who was trying to eat him. That calmed him down in a sense, knowing that the situation could be horrible but...no, she was offering him freedom. Although he was skeptical, what more could he do?

"I...this isn't..." He sighed, looking up at her. Oliver was struggling to find the words to say. There were so many concerns and questions, he didn't know where to start. "Okay." was the only thing he could say now. He'd save everything else for later.

But he was still utterly terrified of the whole situation, it was a miracle, he thought, that he was even able to agree to doing this.

Kasumi hushed him gently, stepping towards him as she attempted to pat him upon the shoulders, running a hand down his arm if she was allowed and attempting to gain his attention. Her voice was strangely soothing, a rather calming aura exuding from her. Kitsune were well known for their knowledge of seduction, and not all of it was sexual.

"The higher ups will never know this happened. When they look at this video it'll be us sitting down..." she began, turning towards the nearby door. With a rather flairing wave of her hand, it seemed to almost shimmer and distort all around, seemingly being warped in some way. From their perspective it was simply a door. And from the outside, however, someone would find a wall flat in their face. It was a fine way of making people think the room wasn't there.

"Now...no doubt you have questions. Recouperate and begin asking before we begin this. You'll likely want to know what you're dealing with before we begin talking about our large gruesome friend out there and how we are going to capture, supress or kill it."She spoke with almost total certainty. She was not going to simply let this go.

"IF it will help you relax, know that dying around me is literally hard. I know ways to stop it."

Oliver nodded, taking deep breaths until she mentioned killing the creature in the park. He forgot to tell her that that was not the only thing out there. For a moment he hesitated to.

"Kas...that's...before we talk.." he paused. "That's not the only one out there. There are a number of things, not too many but...there are others. They don't all look the same, or all eat people. We've got a small folder for them...not to much information though...just basics along with their assigned numbers. Though sometimes we give them names to poke fun.."

With that last sentence he let out a small chuckle, trying to make light of the situation as best he could. He was still processing. Oliver did feel in a sense more relaxed by her presence, her voice was welcoming as well as soothing.

More. There weren't enough godly entities in existance to pray to now. No, this had to be handled. If there were more - and UNIQUE ones at that - this could easily be some sort of vile experiment. Whatever it was - it was going to end. And fast.

She was giving a clear frown as she stepped towards him, attempting to keep him comforted but also trying to be honest. Unfortunately the inability to lie could be a painfully annoying one, so she was hoping he wouldn't ask her anything too personal directly.

"You'll have to tell me those while you're at it. Nicknames tend to hold a bit of truth to them, any information will be useful for when we inevitably come up against these things. At which point I suggest you put that knowledge of yours to good use and find a weapon or stay back...As much as I can help keep you going, you will die if you're cut. I'll just come back." Kas slowly settled down by him, peering back and attempting to make eye contact.

"But I promise you. You WON'T get hurt."

"Okay, yeah but say...say we kill these things successfully...this is obviously government related, how do I get away from them, huh?"

Oliver looked away, staring harshly at the floor. This was a big ridiculous mess, he thought. He almost wished that instead of meeting Kas he'd gone through life blindly, thinking things would be okay if he just kept quiet.

"You've got nothing to lose here, you know...I do. I also don't see your reason to help."

"Simple. You're not Oliver anymore." Kasumi couldn't help but beam at this. Finally she could use her magic a little more freely! She stepped close to Oliver, reaching a finger out towards him, blue flame encompassing it.

"Do not be afraid. It's a little cantrop. You'll appear different to the people around you. Oliver won't appear anywhere on your person. Not in looks, not in voice, not in the DNA they find...you'll be a completely different person for an entire day. But I would suggest not taking any long naps." she wagged her finger for a moment, before attempting to make contact with him.

If he would allow her to touch him, he'd likely feel abit of a burning sensation around his body. Temporary, but it came with it's own sense of dizzyness. Quite natural since - assumedly - he'd never been touched by cosmicly altering forces before.

Other then that, she was quiet...almost trying to avoid his second statement. Especially since it wasn't a question.

Oliver pulled back at first but after her explanation he sat completely still. He was still anxious about this, but he figured that this was better than the plan that he currently did not have.

So he sat still and let her touch him. But then soon to follow was that burning sensation. He closed his as tightly as he could, the burning wasn't the most painful thing he'd ever felt, but it was there and he did indeed start to feel dizzy. From the burning or just this process of becoming someone else, he didn't know.

It was as expected. To himself and the thing in front of him, he was still the same person. Anyone else that looked upon him saw a completely different man. It was a long shot but one way to make sure he didn't get a nasty ending. Which - would admitedly make this a nasty situation for her. It wasn't in her nature to wish death upon others, though it would inevitably be his choice.

"If you have questions to ask, start asking. Because once we begin this there will not be any time to ask. You should be aware that I can't lie to you...at least not directly. And to answer what I predict will be your first question - because I am curious."

"Uh...well. I don't know where to start I guess." Oliver took a deep breath, "So how exactly am I gonna help? I'm not really good at anything, I mean I know the names of these things but thats it and you can even read those from a pamphlet so I'm not really needed."

While he was talking he looked down at his hands, noticing they looked...the same. But he didn't say anything, he figured if there was a problem Kas would of said something by now. He trusted that she knew was doing.

((OH Jeeze I haven't answered here in a while. Sorry! It's been a hell of a week.))

"That is how you help. With your knowledge of these things and the rumors you have heard. Of course I am not without fair trade...there is a way out. You could simply stay here. Continue doing your job. They might ask where the new girl went and there may be some questions. But as far as they know...you would have simply been doing your job like every single other day." Kas gave him a firm nod, before slowly peering aside at the door.

"There is no guarentee that they do not have a method of containing or defeating me. In which case, as always, there is a chance I might meet my downfall. The risks are there. But having someone to lend me a hand and give me a few pointers might be helpful. Unless you have a better idea?"

"Not really..." Oliver chuckled, despite all of this. "I just don't want to have to do this anymore. Kas, this job is basically my life now, I don't know if you've realized. I don't have nearly any friends, I haven't gotten laid in 7 years let alone gotten a date. I don't even remember the last time I talked to my parents."

He sighed, pausing for a moment, trying to process everything properly. Now that he was over the...shock of the situation he was beginning to appeal to it very much so. This place was hell for him.

"So I'll do whatever you want me to do, and help in whatever way I can."
